I was searching for a non toxic solution when I came across Sal's yelp page and learned that he uses soft water to clean the carpet and a safe enzyme cleaner for pet accidents. NOTE: I want to preface this by saying I did not get a cleaning (since my apartment unit location is unfortunately inaccessible). This feedback is just for Sal's helpful feedback and response time. I contacted this business for more information for a cleaning of my sectional couch and high pile carpet in my living room. Sal responded within 5 minutes and asked me a couple of questions to be able to quote me. Once I told him I live on the 4th floor, he let me know that he was not able to service my unit as his steam cleaner needs to connect directly to his vehicle so it would be impossible. He was honest to tell me that my couch should be steam cleaned and proceeded to provide me with feedback on what to look for in another furniture cleaner and what to ask about. Sal is the best in the business. We reached out to him because one of our cats used the couch as their bathroom while we were on vacation. We reached out to Sal and he immediately responded saying he will try his best to remove the odor, as cat pee is very tough to get out especially if it's been sitting for a few days. He picked up the cushions and went to work. He brought them back within a few days and they were smelling great. Unfortunately, the scent was not up to our picky standards so we reached out. Not only did Sal say he would come back and pick them up, but also said he did not want any additional money. After he was finished removing the scent the second time, the cushions smelt brand new. I contacted a few carpet cleaning companies to help me clean a large sectional couch from Costco, as well as my carpeted stairway. Most places provided cryptic pricing (i.e.: by the square foot or estimate upon arrival, etc.), but Sal offered me a flat rate for the entire job over Yelp messaging. Sal also provided a detailed breakdown of each step he would take to clean the sofa, including steam-cleaning each and every section individually, including the sides. He even mentioned the temperature of water he would use for the job to ensure the couch was disinfected. This level of detail gave me the confidence to book the job. Sal was great from when I first reached out to him all the through his on-site cleaning. He came to the house to clean a few area rugs and the upholstery on a chaise lounge. All of them looked much cleaner after. We were hoping to have a very textured, high pile wool rug cleaned as well. He tried a couple of things in test spots and concluded he couldn't clean it without disturbing the fibers, so didn't charge us for that. His pricing was fair and transparent. He even let us borrow an air blower overnight to speed up the drying time for our area rugs so we could get them back in their respective rooms. Highly recommended! read more
