I bought a drone it was brand new, I assumed it was owned by the store, because it was brand new. knowhere on the merchandise does it stay that it's consignment, I literally did not use it, fly it, or anything and it was 2 Days later and all he (the owner) is so no returns on consignment items and just went about his business like nothing happened. I am homeless and live in my truck. It just so happens that my transmission goes out the next day that I purchased the items, there was no remorse, sympathy, or any type of companion.

I really appreciate the service I received last year while purchasing my sandals. The woman helping in the shoe department was extremely helpful and friendly, and guided me to the appropriate pair of sandals. It's been a year so she made a positive lasting impression. This year I picked up a hat with good coverage for my son's. Along with some souvenirs, my son wanted to bring home for his friends (Truckee stickers). Besides my positive experience, the store seems to have just about everything from grills, too fishing gear amongst other things that you would carry an Ace Hardware store. They also had a nice varying selection of said categories. At the checkout counter there was a younger girl who welcomed me and ready to answer questions, I bought my hat, and I was on my way. They're not nearly as large as a Home Depot or Lowe's, unless you are in the lumber department... Then they might even be larger. I came in here to grab some materials for a deck rebuild. They had all of the hardware for the posts that I needed neatly organized and easy to navigate. Staff was also friendly and helpful. Unknowingly when I walked in, they have a tool rental counter. I was able to rent the rotary hammer that I needed to drill into the concrete. The staff member at the rental counter was super helpful, and I was able to show him pictures of the situation, and show him the hardware I was buying and he helped us determine exactly what we needed, and the right size. I was also surprised to see that they have very high-end landscaping and contractor tools. When I was short a 4 x 4 post, I was able to order it at the lumber counter or drive my truck back to pick one out of the lumber bays. Overall, a very pleasant experience and so glad they were able to help us get this DIY project complete!

The screws for the replacement pulls didn't clear the width of the drawer. I was finally able to put the way-too-difficult project to rest with help from Linda at A to Z Supply. She took the time not only to find screws the right length, but to notice that the ones that Other Hardware Store sold me were the wrong width as well. Should have shopped local to begin with!

I asked them if they had a copy of it and their system doesn't allow for a duplicate. the guy showed me the book they are written in and it showed both original white copy and the duplicate yellow copy used as an original too. he basically said I was out of luck. didn't they have to ring that 100.00 cash into the register as a gift certicate? wouldn't the bookkeeper find the 100.00 difference in the books if it wasn't rung up. Kudos to this business. I have a Makita electric compressor which I took in because it would not…read morestart. Prior to writing a service ticket, the gentleman who helped me, first took the compressor to an electrical outlet. He turned the knobs and the release switch at the bottom of the unit. Then he started it. Magic, it turned on right away. I had let someone else use my compressor and they had made adjustments to the knobs without my knowledge. Once everything was set correctly, the machine started. Apparently, the tank was already full (that's why it wouldn't come on). Once some of the air was released and there was room, the machine came on. I had to drive 1/2 an hour to get my equipment serviced so it was really nice that I didn't have to leave it and make a return trip to pick it up. They could have just written a ticket and had me leave it but they did a preliminary check first. I learned something new about my compressor and they saved me money and time by fixing my problem in a few minutes. I highly recommend this business for their integrity and customer service. I will definitely return.

I was made to feel like a criminal by the manager during today's visit. After purchasing my item,…read morethis older Caucasian woman dressed in a blue top (who I was later told was the manager) approached me in the parking lot and curtly demanded to see my receipt. I produced it and she compared the price on my item with the receipt, presumably to ensure I bought it (and didn't steal it or swapped tags with another item?). Then she handed it back to me without a word and started to walk back into the store. Nothing along the lines of "thank you, have a nice day" or any courtesy for patronizing their business. As she entered the door to the Restore, she swung back around and snapped at me about my car being parked in the handicap spot if I'm not disabled. I personally am not, but my mother-in-law is, and my mother-in-law was still checking out her items, and we had the disabled placard hung up in the car. Again, not a single word after this. She did tell me my trunk wasn't closed fully though, so I appreciated that. I guess she had to have the last word? I was made to feel like a criminal. I went to the counter where my mother-in-law was checking out and told her how the manager just rudely spoke to and treated me. The staff at the counter apologized and I replied it's not their fault. It's obvious to me the manager hates her job, so for the sake of ensuring continued business by well-meaning customers, she should either show some respect or let someone who can smile take her job.

Julie was so incredibly UNHELPFUL when I came in today to pick up my items we purchased on Tuesday. She can't seem to find the correlation between the words pickup and loading and was so condescending when I had to spell out for her I was here to pick up my items. When she finally was able to compute that, everything went fairly smoothly until some moron blocked the parking lot with their trailer and then she came out and asked me if I was carrying my furniture I bought to my car...lol I would pay someone to do that for me Julie, if that was the case. Regardless of my awful experience with her, and her disgusting attitude, we got our items we paid for and are happy. Hopefully Julie sees happier days soon.
