I can't believe how overpriced this store was. My dad and I have been to over 100 record stores together over the last few years - in different towns, states and even different continents. And this is BY FAR the most overpriced record store I've ever seen in my life. Everything worth having ranged in price from $30 to even $80. They also had a weird half priced section where they stored everything you and I have never heard of, and although they were half off they were priced just as ridiculously to start with, making not a single record of their surprisingly vast collection worthwhile. Awesome selection! New movies, old movies, more music than I could ever listen to. I don't know how they have so much in one place. The owner is very helpful and friendly, he always helps me find the movie I'm looking for, even when I only know one actor in it. They buy/sell/trade, but I only go in once a week or every other week to stock up on movies for my collection. Everything is half off, so most movies are $5! First off, this is my new favorite music store. Upon first walking in I was a little overwhelmed by how much was going on. But I didn't have anywhere I needed to be so I took my time to look around. Their prices are fair & you can find excellent condition 1st editions of you look/ask. I walked out of there with several tapes I never thought I would find in the condition they were. I will definitely be visiting often to hunt. Not only is their selection huge, but how many places do you go into that have this much variety and the employee knows where what you want is? The employee who was there today was immensely grateful for our purchase and extremely helpful in helping us find artists we were looking for. I can't wait to visit again! :) read more

This place is EPIC, I always find more than I want when I go in. Being a big metal head he usually has a decent selection of metal. I have found some killer imports and rarer stuff. Right now the prices are 50% off EVERYTHING :D for the price I would pay for 3 full price cd's @ FYE or other CD Retailers I left with 4 CD's and a DVD. This place is awesome and they Guarantee their stuff 100% to play or your money back. Although I have never got anything that didn't work from this guy. Plus if you spin records they got tons and lots of oldies. My best friend collects oldies and always finds a deal or a good spin from the record bins. Been Eying the Still Sealed Slayer Live Undead album in their collectables. Its a pretty boss Picture disk. Epic as hell just wish I collected records. Being a metal head, this would be a killer own. Ok this place is something that is so hard to picture. Has vinyl from floor to the celling no lie. Hard to imagine the vinyl is is a need order. But if you look under the album rows. You will notice he has way more then just one copy used on hand. Sample I looked at a 80's band I liked when I was young. Seen he's asking high price. Looked around and noticed he had 21 more copy's of it used. It would take him 100 yrs to sell all the Copy's he has. So no idea why ask crazy prices. Sight to see but would not go back read more

This place sucks. We went up there all the way from Seattle after they posted their ad about having a 1/2 off sale and having lots of cheap and rare stuff. The prices were the POLAR OPPOSITE of a bargain. Used tapes for $3 to $18, generally around $6-$8, and most were your everyday crap you find at Goodwill for 10 cents or at highest $1-2 elsewhere. Used Metal CDs on average $20+ and just as many were $35-$40!?! This is stuff that while OOP, is not overly rare and could be had at any local record store for $8-$10. Even by ebay standards this guy's prices were through the roof. His selection sucked and his attitude was unfriendlly. AVOID this place like the plague. read more

I'd love to write a glowing review of this store, because I like supporting local record stores and am always on the hunt for older albums in used record stores. But the reality is that the store is pretty disorganized (mostly organized by letter, but with stacks of unsorted records everywhere); overwhelmed with masses of common and frankly little wanted records; has a strong mildew smell that has stuck with every record sleeve I've brought home from here; and is overpriced. Practically every review mentions the special sale prices... look through the reviews. That 1/2 off sale has been going on for over a year... maybe a couple of years. Before you feel bad for the proprietor for "having to" sell his stock at half off to stay in business, price check the records you're interested in against other stores and sites like Discogs. The sticker prices in this store are easily 2-3 times as expensive as other places. So, even considering the 50% off sale, you're still paying as much or more than you would elsewhere. With all this said, I do think the store is worth the occasional look, because there are a few gems among the castoffs, but go in with a good idea of the fair price for the records you're looking for to avoid overpaying. read more

Pretty much a one-stop shop for DVD and VHS movies, CDs, vinyl records, and even the occasional 8-track or cassette. The owner Gordy is very nice and loves to help in any way he can. The stacks are organized alphabetically by artist name, and also by genre (i.e. rock, jazz, etc). Possibly best of all, the prices posted are discounted by 50% automatically. This place is great! My dad and I visit frequently to browse the huge collection of vinyl. I usually dig through the large classic rock section, while my dad browses the smaller jazz section. There also seems to be a good deal of country, classical and soundtracks. The prices are reasonable, especially when compared to some of the used record stores in Seattle (Sonic Boom, Easy Street, Everyday Music). However, the selection lacks some of the rarities you might find at those stores. That said, I have found a number of gems that makes it worth coming back to browse again. I never see this as a unified stores but different products in one building. Here goes. CD's are generally picked over but rarities show up with some regularity. Fairly hard to search now without the group name dividers. DVD and video. Be prepared to search. You might get lucky, you might not. Records. Huge selection and I mean huge selection. (Look under the CD bins kids.). Man why can I still not find what I am looking for here? Records are very expensive here, however, you're probably going to find what you want pay the price and be happy to not be looking anymore.
