The assinged plumber, Brandon was amazing and so easy to work with. He diagnosed and repaired both plumbing issues with ease and clear communication. Thank you, Brandon for your kindess and for getting ouelr broken toilets and shower working again. My family is new to the area and its nice to know that we have a go to maintenece and repair company for plumbing and heating & cooling!

The hot water was still running out afterwards so they were contacted again. They said it was an electric problem so a full inspection was done by their electrician. We were told the electric panel needed to be replaced and was a fire hazard. If we went ahead with replacing it, the oven would need to be rewired requiring destruction of part of the walls leading to the kitchen. There were also smaller electrical repairs that could be done as well (outlets). If we repaired everything, it would be around $9000. We got a 2nd opinion from a local electrician who had zero concerns about the panel. When Peterman was contacted about this discrepancy, we were told it would be escalated to the supervisor who would contact us but over several weeks we did not receive a call. Due to the conflicting reports, we got a 3rd opinion to be sure, and again, there was no recommendation to replace the panel and the repairs Peterman suggested did not amount to $9000 in their opinion. We did have a good experience with them prior to this (regarding HVAC) but if you plan to work with them, would strongly recommend a second opinion for large projects. We have ended our monthly membership with them and will not be working with them again.

After the tech worked on it, the pilot light wouldn't come back on at all. He told us it was a valve he had to overnight to us leaving us with no heat for 4 days in below zero temps. After finally receiving the part (which was a $1000 valve), he installed it but the system still didn't work. The tech tried to tell us it was the heating element at $6000 or we can just replace the entire system for $9000. We told him to put the system back together and leave. After a couple of days, we hear a loud banging in my pipes and then my heat turns back on. After researching ourselves, we realized this tech at Johnson couldn't figure out that we had frozen condensation in our pipes which prevented our heat from working. Id also like to mention that bf this tech began working on our system, he had told us that he had just come from another call that he couldn't fix, and had to sell them an entirely new system. I'm believing now that this is their goal. To sell new systems, not fix the problem.D

They completed the work quicker than expected and my total bill was actually less than quoted. The technician was personable and listened to my concerns before starting the work and gave me feedback and solutions based on his experience. Great experience for me and I will use Johnson Heating again.

Pricing not transparent nor reasonable: We asked Lohmeyer…read morePlumbing to install a bath faucet and drain fixture for a stand-alone antique-style bath.   The original fixture failed and leaked. The plumber assigned to the job brought a helper to evaluate and quote the work. He also spent some time at the plumbing supply house determining if parts were available to fix the failed fixture. They determined that we would need a new fixture. My wife worked with the supply house and selected and purchased the fixture. Once we had the fixture in hand we received the quote for this installation.  I was dismayed to see the quote for the installation work was $3877.00! When I asked for more detail I was given a verbal summary of the additional materials for the work that seemed to amounted to less than $50. We notified Lohmeyer that we intended to reject their proposal. I contacted another reputable local plumber and received a quote for about  $400 for installation. I accepted the quote, and the work was completed quickly and to my satisfaction. The plumber and his helper spent less than 2 hours to complete the work. We then received a bill for $595 for the service rendered. Note that they charge much more to quote this job than a reputable plumber charged us to complete the job. If you work with Lohmeyer I recommend getting a firm quote before they start the work. Then again, I would not recommend trying to do this as I think it will be a waste of your time. We live in an old house, so it sadly came with the territory and we had to hire their services for repairs that were beyond our skill level. Our trust with them came to a screeching halt when the time came that I needed to speak with management. We've had an almost 3-year HVAC issue, where five different technicians kept doing leak searches (and charged us for all of them) with no offers for long-term solutions. After my initial call to hopefully address this, it took about a week for them to send me a text offering the minimum possible resolution without even speaking to me. Conveniently, the call-back number they sent didn't work, either. It just goes to show that their management doesn't have the professionalism or courage to have actual conversations with loyal customers. They all hide behind the veil of their customer experience team who unfortunately don't make the decisions. I've never been so relieved to move on from a company whose leadership doesn't value their members.
