Lindsey energy was amazing. I can't remember the doctor's name, but when she came in, she was also amazing as well very professional, friendly outgoing when I say the most amazing A1 customer service experience. They were able to fix my previous botched root canal from a horrible provider in Miami. Fast forward to the final step to my root canal Dr. Atari took her time to make sure I was comfortable and also listened to my other concerns bothering me and she was able to fix it that same day. I am so glad to find Dr. Atari and her team. She is patient, kind, and caring. I definitely recommend Dr. Atari.

In the end, they told me "we can't do anything" and referred me to another place. They neither refunded my money nor took any responsibility for the failed treatments. On top of that, the tooth next to the one they treated also got damaged and now needs to be extracted. This level of carelessness and irresponsibility is completely unacceptable. Because unlike the Terminator I am a pussy when it comes to dental pain. Ok, the review: Staff. Absolutely amazing staff. Patient, caring, informative, insistent (as they must be with patients of my ilk) and empathetic. This staff cares. Plus most of them get their own work done here which says something about the place. I hate, abysmally so, going to the dentist but this office's staff is like the lollipop you'd get as a kid following the dreaded immunization shots. Service. They get the job done. You may not like some of the stuff they are telling you that you need to get done but it's the legit deal. It's not like you take your car in to the shop and the mechanic tells you have to get your oil changed and suddenly you're told you need 4 new tires, a transmission change, a new water pump, new battery and new fuel tank. You may have some work that needs done on a tooth (or two or three or all) but they just let you know and allow you to decide when to get the stuff done. Cost. They are not network dentists for reasons that I heard but I don't quite remember because I was still in 'dental appointment' shock. They do offer CareCredit which is a service that offers financing same-as-cash as long as you pay back the amount loaned within 6 months. If you don't... be careful as the account then goes to 29.99% interest. So it'd be best not to try and get a grill like Jaws from the James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me". Or rapper grills. Pain. Sigh. I can get tattoos, endure scars and battle wounds, and even handle watching 'The View' without too much grimacing. But dental pain can keep me from sleeping well at night before an appointment. This office has more than a few options for helping you out in the pain department. It might be a slight (or not so slight if you're me) increase in the bill but it definitely helps. If you are as bad as me you might want to bring a hammer and give yourself an old-fashioned good night's sleep. Again it goes to the staff as they are all really great in helping you get as pain-free an exam/treatment as they can provide. Overall... you have your choice of dentists. I chose mine. However, from the minute you walk in Dr. Davidian's office it is a positive experience, and all it took was that one visit for me to continue coming back (and without the Valium!) Everyone in that office is genuinely concerned with your health, well-being, and just who you are as a person. The dental care is beyond compare, but every time you visit Dr. Davidian's office it is like you have family taking care of you, and that's what really makes her staff and her superior healthcare providers. My previous dentist told me I would have to pay over $7k in a deep gum cleaning because of severe bone loss. I only went in for a cleaning, which they didn't do because they said my issue was so severe. Dr. Allison cleaned my teeth, went over my X-rays and assured me there was no severe bone loss. I'm still in shock. I'm definitely coming back, and thankful for the referral Also, there was a woman in the office that was upset things were taking so long for her (and it was he own fault). I've always been to a dentist where the assistant cleans your teeth, and the dentist comes in afterwards to check her work. This was definitely not the case with Dr. Allison. As soon as I finished x-rays, he came in and thoroughly cleaned my teeth, catching some areas of concern that my previous dentist had missed. My teeth look the best they've looked in years, even when I was going to the dentist regularly. He gave a thorough, honest assessment of my teeth, without trying to charge me for unnecessary procedures. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have not always taken the best care of my teeth and despite having my kids go see him, I didn't schedule an appointment to 2 years ago. Sadly, I did have some cavities, but he and his team never made me feel bad. They scheduled the fillings at a pace that was best for my mouth and for my bank account, making sure insurance covered the maximum amount possible. Each cavity was taking care of well and my teeth feel they best they have in years .

I transferred dentists as part of a move from Raleigh to Durham and based on a referral from a…read moreneighbor. Unfortunately, we did not have a good (net) experience. We are a family with fairly healthy teeth, practice regular hygiene and dental cleanings, and had no significant issues 10 months (long stretch due to Covid) prior at our prior long-term dentist--upon seeing Dr. Gaddis, multiple cavities, root canals, and others services were promoted, many of questionable need. Pros: Good location, nice office, new equipment/technology, thorough hygienists, nice staff (for the most part), good bedside manner (for the most part) Cons: 1. Wife was referred for THREE root canals, ALL of which our endodontist told us he has no idea what Dr. Gaddis was referring to. Gaddis also referred us (like all her clients) to an endodontist that has many poor reviews, which was an early red flag, and why we ended up selecting our own (that is highly reviewed). It also raises the specter of potential quid pro quo between the two practices. 2. Gaddis told me my daughter needed sealant because of her baby teeth cavities being an indicator for her proclivity to cavities. When I said my prior dentist told us baby teeth are not a good indicator for cavities in permanent teeth (because they're weaker, less enamel, etc), she said "I don't recall hearing that in school". After a quick Internet search, I confirmed it is well known amongst professionals in the field that baby teeth cavities are NOT a good indicator for the health of adult teeth, leading me to conclude Gaddis either doesn't know some fundamental facts in dentistry or is intentionally discarding what she knows to promote more services (consistent with Con #1)...either of which is not good. 3. Front office staff can be a bit edgy/dry/cold...not outright mean, but not generally warm, like our prior practice. It's not a deal-breaker on its own, but coupled with the other issues not helpful. We were really hoping that we'd found a new dental home and allowed benefit of the doubt several times, but ultimately too many red flags have pushed us back to our prior practice until we can find a better local option.

I've been seeing Dr. Service and his dental hygienist Betty for the past year and a half. Dr…read more Service is very personable although after my first appointment in which he took new ex-rays and really did a whole check-up I haven't seen him more then ten minutes during the appointments. Betty has a great personality and does a wonderful job with my cleanings. She and Dr. Service do a great job giving recommendations and answering my questions. The cleanings cost $135 per visit and the only thing I'd recommend is to make sure you have your insurance straightened out. I'm still on the parental plan and the insurance checks are mailed to them directly instead of the dentist office (insurance--ugh). You just have to remember to send the check to Dr. Service because they won't come calling until you have a interest fee, just be aware. I like the way the appointments are made, you can either schedule them six months out or receive a phone call a month in advance (which is more convenient to me as I'm not always sure what six-months out looks like). I've never waited long in the office for an appointment but if I did I'm not sure I would notice because I'm too focused on the tank of lovely fish and many magazines for browsing. I'll keep returning to Dr. Service for all my dental cleanings!
