Came here for a quick coffee and snack early morning on Saturday. They take social distancing seriously and only allow 5 people in the store at a time. Two people were working at this time and there was already a line. They have a variety selection of pastries that all were tempting. They have a basic coffee menu as well. You'll have to ask for the pastry to be toasted if you want it that way and even then, it wasn't warm enough. The strawberry croissant was soo delicious even when it was room temp. I ordered it because I never seen it before. It looks super sweet with powdered sugar, but it surprisingly was not. It had great flavor and didn't taste like a dessert. The matcha latte was just ok. Not the best I've had but it had the matcha flavor, at least. I didn't see any of the sandwiches or things that others posted which was confusing and quite disappointing, but maybe they only bring that our during lunch hours. Nonetheless, this place is a great place for convenient coffee and a baked good.

Looking for great pastries with a great cup of coffee this place is great! Pastries are always very fresh and tasty. It seems like they only sell them the day of and not old ones. I got a iced caramel latte and it had a great balance of sweetness to coffee. They have now combined with Sonoma eats restaurant and you can buy both things in the same place. They also have the mixology jars ready to just add the alcohol. Prices for coffee and pastries are very reasonable for the area. Will definitely be back for some more yummy pastries.

While on a wine tasting vacation and staying in Sonoma I found this great coffee spot. They were very friendly and helpful knowing I was not a regular and from out of town. They didn't rush me and were very patient for my order of 4-8 drinks each day. They are real baristas so they can make any drink and have some great specialties like rose or lavender lattes. I had them make me my favorite mochas and they were great. They also carry delicious pastries they get from a local baker. I got some croissants, chocolate croissant, chocolate almond croissant and muffins. If I lived in Sonoma I would go here everyday. The service was awesome and coffee and pastries delicious!

The iced coffee i got was "okay". The best part was the pastries and cookie , which was fresh. The small parking lot was full, so i parked across the street. The staff was polite, but felt like they would rather be chit chatting than dealing with me. One employee attempted to engage with me after i ordered a few pastries but the engagement offered was over and over on something i interested in. To the point of awkward. Instead of trying to switch the topic to something else she kind of just gave up. Um ok. This place is cool if you are staying at the fairmont or have pets, But I wouldn't see myself coming back here on a regular basis. Not a fan

I was in need of caffeine so I stopped by this coffee shop. I got a mocha which was pretty good. They also have pastries here, but there wasn't a large variety when I went because it was later in the day. I liked that they had both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoors seating is nice when its not cold out. Overall it was a good coffee experience.

Barking Dog Roasters was a short walk from our Airbnb and across the street from the Fairmont in Sonoma. I can only speak for the coffee and it was great! Outdoor seating is also available if you want to enjoy your breakfast outside.

Awesome coffee and awesome breakfast goodies! Stopped in because its walking distance from the Fairmont and love supporting local biz. They open early and had a great selection- also had samples of the macadamia nut cookies out and I could've literally eaten all of them they were so good. Got a large americano with almond milk (they let you add it in) and sf syrups. For breakfast got the meat sandwich (sausage, egg, cheese, croissant) which hit the spot and was huge- 2 sausage patties, 2 eggs, 2 cheese. Was perfect, service was great and people were nice. Price: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Food/Coffee: 9/10

We enjoyed our coffee and pastries so much! The service was phenomenal, the coffee was hot and tasty and the pastries were delicious! Would definitely return next time we are in town! The only disappointment was not being able to sit indoors on a chilly morning.

Only had beverages, but service is friendly, polite, and quick. Drinks came out quickly as well! Prices are pretty standard for a local coffee shop. There's a nice variety of baked goods as well as coffee beans and merchandise for sale. I got a bag of coffee that benefits a local animals! There's also an outside seating area that's socially distanced and beautiful! My boyfriend and I came two days in a row to get the Mayan mocha- highly recommend! They also have oat milk, which is my favorite. Definitely a solid roaster!

nice outdoor picnic tables. glorious morning muffin (delicious) and a bag of beans to-go

5 stars for this unpretentious neighborhood coffee shop! Delicious pastries (they do run out fast), good coffee, and most importantly super friendly staff. This place really exemplifies what Sonoma is all about - friendly, chill, cozy vibes, delicious food/ drinks, and wonderful hospitality. The coffee was so delicious we got a bag of beans to go (Moka Java). They have several picnic tables outside. We got to enjoy our morning coffee while soaking in the morning sun.

But luckily, we were here at an odd hour on a weekday afternoon, and the line was minimal. The folks here were super friendly and helpful. I was here with my parents and they kind of knew what they wanted, but the folks are also kind of love us through some other options that we were interested in. For some of the basics, we got an epi baguette, a regular baguette, and I got some coffee. We picked up a few of the pastries to bring home some other family members as well. The place was beautiful and organized and so were the pastries. Everything was good. I had some of the baguette for the next day with some butter and some charcuterie meats for breakfast.

It's located next to Bouchon Bistro where we wanted to go for lunch, but they couldn't accommodate our party of ten even with split tables. Because of that, we went to the bakery instead. When we arrived at 11am there was a long line out the door. It moved pretty quickly and the food came out pretty quickly. I think it could've moved even quicker if there were menus earlier in the line so I knew exactly what I wanted ahead of time instead of figuring that out when it was my time to order. My favorites were the chocolate croissant, cream cheese danish, bacon cheese scone, and the raspberry macaron. There were a few tables outside but it's more of a casual stop for pastries and coffee than a sit down restaurant.

I placed my order and asked for muffins, but was told they were sold out. I could clearly see five on the counter, and the employee explained they were already spoken for. I mentioned my kid would be disappointed and asked if there was anything they could do. One employee immediately said no, while another kindly checked in the back and was able to find one muffin for us, which I appreciated. A little later I noticed packaged muffins in the display case and asked if I could buy those, but again was told no. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse from there. I realized after leaving that I never received the pizza I had ordered, and the avocado toast made me extremely sick. I spent the rest of the day dealing with what felt like serious food poisoning. I called afterward to request a refund ( I only asked to refund the avocado toast and the pizza) and left a voicemail. No one returned my call. I called again and spoke with someone who said the manager had just left and would call me back. Again, no response. They mentioned refunding my card and I gave my card digits, but I'm pretty sure I had actually paid cash. Either way, I mainly wanted to speak with a manager about the situation, and no one ever followed up. What's especially disappointing is that I live nearby, come here often, and genuinely love this place. That's why this experience was so frustrating. I understand busy weekends happen, but the lack of communication and follow-up after getting sick was really disappointing.

It's a soft, delicious bit vs the usual bready chew and lets the egg and bacon or sausage shine. While the bacon egg is a classic and just something familiar done very well, the sausage had that sauce that really elevated it. Short line and wait. They def knew their menu. Immediately brought water with cucumber and lemon, very refreshing. I ordered the bread with butter to start, it was excellent. That butter just melts on every bite, taking the bread to the next level. Staff recommended the Rachel pastrami. It did not disappoint. It was very simple. However the combination of the thousand Island, sauerkraut, the pastrami and buttered bread just made it so delicious. It was decently meat packed too. The sandwich came with fries which I inhaled the ketchup that they brought me extra. It also came with two types of coleslaw both were delish. They were not overwhelming with dressing. The yellow one was interesting bc I thought it was turmeric but it was slightly sweet. Delish as well. Also ordered their Italian prosecco. I'm into red wine but for some reason perhaps the environment I felt the prosecco would work and it did! It was bubbly refreshing, tasty, and not dry. Their restroom was big and clean. This is in the Jack London Village. They have parking on both ends. The village has other restaurants and wine tasting as well.

It has a cozy, rustic charm that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal. Here's what we tried: Lemon Drop Martini - Refreshing and well-balanced. A solid way to kick off lunch. Della Fattoria Bread - Our waiter hyped it up as "the best bread in California." Maybe my expectations were a little too high because...it was just okay to me. Good, but not the showstopper I was expecting. Brussels Sprouts - These were really good! Perfectly roasted with lots of flavor. Spicy Sweet Chili Wings - THE STAR OF THE SHOW! These were hands down the best thing we ordered. Crispy, sticky, sweet with just the right amount of heat...absolutely delicious! I'd honestly come back just for these. Clam Chowder - Creamy, comforting, and a nice starter. Bacon Cheeseburger - A solid burger that definitely hit the spot. My only real complaint? The wings. Not the flavor--the portion size. For $20, I think the order should include at least 8-10 wings. You get six (the sixth one is hiding under the garnish in my photo ), and one of them was noticeably smaller than the others. They were so good that I just wished there had been more! Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Between the charming atmosphere, friendly service, and those unforgettable wings, I'd definitely come back again. Next time, I'll probably skip the bread and go straight for another order of those wings!
