On a Thursday evening it was very easy for me to find parking right up front and pay the meter for an hour. The event started on time and we were able to do a Q&A with the authors (who are now NY best sellers, woot woot). After the Q&A we all stood in line to get our books signed. Everything was well organized so the line went by quickly. Kristely at the front desk was super helpful and also helped me out with a glass of wine. This will definitely be my new hangout spot to come and enjoy a drink while I indulge in a new book or two. Thank you so much Solid State for a memorable experience.

Their selection and feel was good. Though, I was specifically looking for Agatha Christie books and was kind of stunned they really did not have any. Though they did humorously have some sort of John Grisham original collection for way too much money to the point that I have no idea who would love/care about Grisham to that extent. My go-to order is usually an iced coffee (or hot, depending on the day), but I've also had their biscuit with egg, cheese, and bacon a few times. That biscuit is perfectly fluffy, the egg is creamy, and the bacon is on point--so good that I've thought about ordering a side of bacon just to have more. If you're in the area and need a cozy spot to work, this is it. I love that they have plenty of outlets (a rarity!) and even window seating. Great coffee, great food, and a mission worth supporting.
