    Diagnosis by repair shop.

    Brought it in for an oil change and overall inspection. The tech did the oil change and the inspection and didn't recommend any other maintenance on it. i asked if anything is recommended and if the brakes are good and they told me that the brakes are 50% and no other maintenance is recommended for the vehicle. A week later the car started acting up, it was shaking when accelerating and seemed to loose power. . I called on 01.15.2024 and asked if any maintenance was recommended. The answer was no and that everything was fine. What was I expected was a recommendation like "please bring the car in for a checkup" or "please stop driving and call a tow truck that will bring it to us". That answer seemed careless so I took the car to another dealer for inspection and turns out that the alternator belt is broken, tune up needed to be done because 2 spark plugs are not functioning, the brakes are 2 mm and need to changed, the transmission needs a flush due to mileage(factory recommendation ), the coolant needs to be flushed as well (also factory recommendation), engine filter was very dirty and needed to be changed. I called on 01.16.2024 , asked to check again if any maintenance was recommended , I was told no. service advisor was Jan and I informed him about all the issues, asked why no maintenance was recommended and his response was "well, it is what it is". It's very disappointing because I trusted Marino with my and my family's safety! I wasn't expecting any free service and I'm not expecting anything free from them by writing this review either. I am not bashing Marino, I am simply sharing my experience in the hopes that something will change. My expectations from them were accuracy in recommending the repairs/service needed. UPDATE 40 minutes after posting the review, I received a call from a Marinos manager. He seemed very upset that I am "writing stuff" online about my experience. He proceeded to say that the repair shop that is actually fixing my car, oversold me services that are not needed and that the shop may not do such a great job as I expect. Surprisingly, he didn't seemed to be concerned about the service advisers lack of care and my safety but was more concerned about the "stuff" I write online. I can't help but wonder ...... do we really have to post reviews online in order to get someone's attention?

    I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this dealership and I am utterly disappointed with their unprofessionalism and lack of respect for their customers' time. I called in Monday and spoke to Leo about an Alfa Romeo, he told us it's available and so we began to drive an hour to the dealership. Half way through the ride, he calls saying that the vehicle is out being serviced and that it's not available for viewing that day- we're already 30 mins into the ride to the dealership. Disappointed but understanding, we agreed to meet with Leo on Wednesday morning 9am. He mentioned the car was on the lot for 300 days and should be ready to view on Wednesday and available for us. So we had scheduled an appointment with him to discuss purchasing a vehicle, and to say that they missed the appointment would be an understatement. First and foremost, it is crucial to note that my time is valuable, just like any other customer's. I made sure to set aside a specific time slot to visit the dealership, expecting them to be prepared and ready to assist me. My husband and I took off work for this appointment. On the ride to the dealership on Wednesday we called en route to ensure it's going to be available, someone said they would bring it out front. However, upon arriving at the designated time, we were met with confusion and disorganization. It was evident that they had absolutely no idea about my scheduled appointment, and Leo was nowhere to be found. The sales staff seemed completely oblivious and after a few moments a staff member comes to us and tells us the car was sold late last night. So at this point this is the second time they absolutely WASTED our time. Just happens that after 300 days on the lot, the car just happened to be sold late the night before and no one called us to cancel the appointment. Even an e-mail would have been nice. It's astounding how a dealership, whose primary responsibility is to cater to customers' needs, can disregard appointments in such a careless manner. Furthermore, the lack of communication and accountability from the dealership only exacerbated my disappointment. Not once did they reach out to explain the situation or offer an apology for their oversight. After we left the dealership (around 9:15, appointment was supposed to be at 9:00) we attempted to call Leo to ensure the car was in fact sold because the staff seemed so confused while we were there. We were transferred to "Andrea" and she began to make up excuses that the vehicle was sold last night, right before close, therefore there was no way they could have notified us about it no longer being available. And conveniently Leo "didn't know about the situation because he was off on Tuesday". It was as if our time and interest in their services meant nothing to them. This kind of attitude is simply unacceptable and reflects poorly on the dealership's professionalism and customer service. To make matters worse, we had driven a significant distance to reach their location, wasting my time, energy, and fuel- TWICE! This disregard for a customer's commitment and inconvenience is a clear reflection of their disregard for customer satisfaction. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Marino Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram to anyone seeking a reliable and customer-oriented car buying experience. Their inability to honor appointments and their lack of basic communication skills demonstrate a level of unprofessionalism that should not be tolerated. My advice to others would be to steer clear of this dealership and find one that values their customers' time and respects their appointments. I sincerely hope that they take this review as an opportunity for self-reflection and strives to improve their customer service and organizational practices. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere, where my time and patronage are appreciated.

    Don't buy from. On Thursday I had an email deal for a 2022 used Jeep STOCK #D6764A, I show up on Saturday and they wouldn't honor the deal. Claimed they painted a section of the car and added new tail lights because of moisture. Now the price was even move then originally advertised. Painted the car in that short of a timeframe and moisture in tail lights for a vehicle still under warranty. Then low balled me on my trade. You should stand behind what you say and give fair trade in value. Funny the deal we agreed on for the Jeep is exactly what KBB puts the vehicle as fair market value and yet they valued my trade in at 43% below what KBB valued my exact vehicle and condition. Shady business. Tom, after all that, you wouldn't get my business if you did honor your original deal and gave me a reasonable offer on my trade.     Great experience at Berman Subaru! I came by today to get a new stereo system put in my car. I had…read morean appointment and pulled right into the service garage upon arrival. The team greeted me and got me checked in super seamlessly. They let me know it would take about 2 hours for the installation and then showed me to the waiting room. There are two spaces, one bigger one with tables and chairs, and the other with some desk space. I was able to camp out at one of the desks to get some work done while they worked on my car. There is wifi (not the best so I tethered to my phone) and coffee available. Before I knew it the 2 hours was up and my car was good to go! They even gave it a quick wash while it was back there (even though we got it fully serviced and detailed about a month ago). The team is awesome and super responsive. Since it's also the dealership, there were able to do multiple services free of charge (including the new stereo!) They do a great job of building relationships with their clients to keep them coming back. We've been bringing our Forrester here since 2017 and will continue to do so.

    I've been coming to Fox Ford Lincoln for years since moving to the city back in 2014. I always…read morethought they provided good service at a premium price (being a dealer in the center of the city, I expected and was happy to pay the additional premium for the convenience.) Right after they switched to the Murgado brand, I brought my Ford Escape in for an oil change back in January of this year. I noticed immediately after the oil change that the plastic tray that covers the bottom of the engine would fall off and drag on the road. I bought some additional screws and that held me over until the cover continued to lose the screws and detach and today I asked them to fix it when I came in for my scheduled oil change. Parallel to this, I asked them to check a seatbelt in the rear that wouldn't retract. They said it'd be $280 for the diagnosis and the majority of the time, they can fix it. Okay. They have my car all day and tell me I have 45 minutes to come pick it up because they close at 6 unless I want to wait until tomorrow. They said it'd be $1200 to replace the seatbelt (they couldn't fix it) and $600 to replace the bottom cover. I denied both. I talked to my service advisor, David and explained that they caused the issue with the bottom cover and he lied to me and said they didn't need to remove the cover for an oil change. He also said they couldn't cut the part hanging off because it was covering a key part of the engine protecting it which also ended up being false. They also charged me $30 to put new screws in without fixing the problem. When I arrived and complained to the manager, they did nothing to fix the issue (saying the car was "old") and still charged me $440 for the oil change, 3 screws and seatbelt diagnosis Oh, and did I mention when I looked at the bottom and did a small minor tug, one of the screws came right out. I also disassembled the back seatbelt myself, and I fixed it within 2 minutes of messing with it. I'll never be back. UPDATE: I took the cover off the broken seatbelt and messed with it for 5 minutes and was able to fix it. I asked the service manager for a refund for the $280 and they said they'd send me a check. 20 days later, I never got the check, so enjoy the chargeback on my credit card. STAY AWAY!

I called this location the next day and was told that I had to come in on May 27th! I told them multiple times before this date and on this date that this check engine light has been on! I was promised a full diagnostic would be performed! I get the car later that date, the check engine light was still on! Normally, when something is wrong because of a business's mistake and I complain, I'm either banned or given the runaround! Now, earlier this month, the car is completely shut down! I'm not paying a dime on this car payment until this is taken care of! When I came and picked up my car, I was told it was parked across the street! I was looking for about 25 minutes, and guess where my car was? It was actually in the lot adjacent to the service area! Be cautious with this location! They will give you a lemon and a half tank of gas, and will not tell you!
