The people are always friendly and the food is always good, but paying $18.00 for a burger, fries, and drink is ridiculous. I will have to just make my own. Feeling like a burger for a road trip to Grants Pass. So many choices. In n Out, Jaspers, Sonic, etc. Actually saw Barney's on the way to Jaspers. Read the reviews from fellow yelpers and pulled in and ordered. This is not fast food burger. He makes each one to order and mine was so hot and yummy I couldn't believe it. Great price, awesome flavor, speedy service for made to order. I would stop here again before making another choice. It's that good. read more

I'm done with Barney's and thats unfortunate, their prices are reasonable & you get a good amount of product for the price .That said here's my complaint.I tried Barney's for the first time last week.I ordered a chili dog with cheese & onion.Hot dog was not fully cooked,portion was decent for the price but who wants an undercooked dog on a raw bun.Also ordered a cheeseburger with no tomato.Burger is a decent size for the price as well. When you go to a burger joint you expect that the raw bun is toasted,it was not, ordered fries as well, they were limp, browned on the outside,inside was undercooked as well,they were salted well but inedible, seemed as though they were under a heat lamp.The fries came with a tasty orangey fry sauce that was good. Understanding that every business has off days I thought today I'd give Barney's another go. I ordered two cheese burgers ,again no tomato,I asked the order taker to please toast the bun, her reply was "we toast all our buns" to which I said it wasn't last time I was here, she then said she'd have it double toasted.I thanked her and added onion rings to the order. When I got to the window I asked what kind of dipping sauce comes with onion rings, she said ranch, I told her I don't care for ranch& asked for the delicious orangey fry sauce,she said no problem you got it. When I got home & served up the burgers the buns were not toasted, not even lightly toasted,raw again. The two burgers were on top of the onion rings in the bag,which caused them to get smashed & become soggy. No orangey fry sauce, just the ranch I specifically declined. I used to like this place, but my recent purchase there left me disappointed. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and a small order of tator tots. For $4, the amount of tots I got was maybe worth $2. The burger was the biggest disappointed. I know food prices have gone up, but it shouldn't mean quality and the size of the burger decreases. But that what I experience. I had to lift the top part of the bun off to make sure there was a burger patty there that's how small the patty was. I could barely tell there was cheese on the burger. Lesson learned it if you are getting food check it before you leave because it seems restaurants are skimping on food orders to go, and I won't be going back to Barney's Burgers til they get better. read more

First time stopping in to Barney's and I'm not gonna lie I wasn't sure I had made the right choice.. just cause most burger places around here disappoint. The place is kind of small with a few tables but they did have a lot of burger varieties. I kind of panicked and just picked a bacon cheddar burger and added avocado.. cause 1. I was hungry and 2. I suck under pressure when it comes to ordering food, I panic. I felt like everyone behind me was probably like pick something already but the older gentleman at the register was super nice about my indecisiveness. I also got onions rings and listen here if you're on the highway passing by take the exit and get the onions rings and thank me later. I mean the highway is right by it. Ok back tot he food... the onion rings were so perfect and crunchy and not oily and greasy and soggy. Omg now I want more. So now let me say this about the burger. The ingredients and quality you can see and taste. The burger is a good size, I couldn't finish it. The only thing is the burger patty needs some seasoning, nothing fancy just some salt and pepper please. It was a bit underwhelming. Like I said the burger is good just needs a little umph.. Service is outstanding! Indoor seating only but a nice place to enjoy your meal. Ambiance of a typical burger place but they care about the customers and the quality of the meal. Drive thru is fast and easy and good off street parking. The other location is good too but here there is more seating and parking. When we first ate at the Riverside location the burgers were really good. But, then we ate at the Biddle location for the next 5+ times and the burgers are just not good. There's no salt or other seasoning on the patties, ever, which is crazy to not season meat. We never go here anymore, even though it's got such a convenient drive-thru and is so close to home. I wanted onion rings on the side but the older lady behind the cash register didn't hear me so I didn't get any any rings on the side. . Hubs sandwich also needed seasoning so there's that. Not being afraid to try something different, I decided to give this little place a try. I was blown away. The food was a little pricier than I was expecting to spend but also not out of the ordinary. I decided to start off simple; burger, fries, shake. The burger was fresh, fresh tasting and fresh looking (no bagged stuff here). The fries were natural, flavorful and perfect. The shake was sublime. So many flavors of shakes! I went with coffee. Yum! My second trip, I tried the teriyaki chicken sandwich, tater tots and an orange shake. A little more pricey but when I tried to get the sandwich out of the bag, it was surprisingly quite heavy. I could barely get my mouth around this thing. Worth every penny and what's more, I more than got my money's worth. I could have cut that puppy in half and been quite satisfied. Perfect size for any guy. Again, the shake was dreamy. If you get them through the drive through the burgers are out if this world but if you get them delivered, be warned , half your order will be delivered COLD. So my advice, go through the drive through and get them hot and fresh as well as a correct order vs getting delivery. read more

Barney's Burgers used to be a weekly thing for our family. Plenty of our friends and family agree it used to be the best burger in town and the fries were great. We noticed a change in quality soon after sweet tea bought Barney's. Now it's inedible, I believe they are now using frozen patties compared to cherry street meats like Barney's used to use. I recently ordered a burger and besides the meat change the patty was like a hockey puck on the outside but completely bloody raw in the middle. Nice job sweat tea! Two things I do not care for,0 first I paid with a card, they presented a tablet and told me it was asking about a tip, with all kinds of different %'s available for tiping.
