The restaurant was less than clean. I initially chalked it up to a busy morning, but it was obvious that tables hadn't been bussed and the bar hadn't been wiped down. We specifically chose this restaurant because it was listed as offering gluten-free options due to food allergies in our group. We declined a receipt when ordering, which was on us. We ordered lattes and breakfast sandwiches. The lattes were made incorrectly, and when we pointed out that they had been made with almond milk--even though one of us has a nut allergy--they didn't offer to remake them. One of our breakfast sandwiches was ordered on gluten-free bread, but when the food arrived, the staff didn't know which sandwich was on gluten-free bread and which was on regular bread. When we asked, we were simply told that "both breads are really good." That completely missed the point. We chose this restaurant because we needed a safe gluten-free meal, not because of a preference in bread. Since the kitchen is open and visible from the dining area, we could clearly see the food being prepared. There was significant cross-contamination between the regular and gluten-free bread, making us question whether the gluten-free option was actually safe for someone with an allergy or celiac disease. While we were eating, I also watched a staff member clear the bus tubs and take the dishes to the sink. He appeared to simply rinse the dirty dishes rather than properly wash them. By that point, I had already finished my meal and honestly wished I hadn't. I genuinely like supporting local businesses, and I don't expect perfection during a busy breakfast rush. However, when a restaurant advertises gluten-free options, food safety and allergy awareness need to be taken seriously. Between the cleanliness issues, the handling of food allergies, the cross-contamination I observed, and the apparent dishwashing practices, this is unfortunately not a place I will return to.

Definitely new since I left home. I was interested. Ambiance was wonderful. A good amount of seating with each sitting spot feelings mildly secluded, which is nice. No one wants their coffee shop gossip being overheard. And when you walk in, you're first greeted with that classic glass case of available pastries and goodies. It was hard to not just order one of each item. Service was nice. It was counter service, and they bring your order right to your table. Can't ask for better service than that. Nice folks, good small talk. And the food, it was delightful. We got a couple of fancy coffee drinks, which were well-flavored, not too sweet, and the iced one was presented in a mason jar. Classic. We also shared like four food items. The pull-apart monkey bread was sweet and dense and delicious. Don't order this if you're alone. You'll need help to finish it. Got a creme filled pull pastry thing. That was nice. Flakes for days. This was no rough puff. For the chocolate croissant, also known as a pain au chocolat. Again, very flakey, very buttery, the perfect touch of sweet chocolate. And a savory, massive scone. Bacon and chives, I think. Also very good. Crumbly. Overall, I was very surprised. There certainly wasn't anywhere like this in Pensacola when I lived here. This place is a quality bakery that could easily be found in a medium-sized city. I was so pleased and will definitely come back.

Very nice. And the pastries themselves were very high quality. Flakey, not dry, well filled, of a good size. Definitely a high point. Cons: No real cons. I didn't have enough stomach space to try everything I wanted. Lol. Tips: The chocolate croissant and the creme filled thing we got were delicious. The scone was also good, but maybe less good than other things we left on the table. Need to come back here!

Brilliant concept for the Java lovers and liquor imbibers alike…read more The interior is luxe by Pensacola standards. Large overstuffed pin cushion leather sofas. Coffered ceilings. Exposed, real old brick that's from god knows when. Lots of copper old fashion coffee roasters. Bespoke bar. I dig the vibe and haven't even tried the patio yet. The Irish latte was delish. The whipped baileys cream on top delightful. My husband had the French 75 which was mildly citrus in such a pleasant way. Zero burn or bitterness for a straight black coffee beverage which impressed me! We had an omelette and the blueberry muffin. Omelette was tasty, fresh, hot and had ample cheese and ham. I liked the Dijon topped on. The muffin was really extra. It was large and it was covered in coffee cake sugar kind of crumble. Really big, generous serving of blueberries. It was super moist. Hate to add to the hype of this place because I admit, theres already a line out the door, but I only just recently discovered it after being here nearly a year. It's a wonderful Find and I'm already planning to make it one of my regular stops.

The interior was so nice it had many comfy couches in the first area but the had a long dining table it was so cute inside. The only thing I didn't like about my food is that it had the whip cream on it and not inside it but it was amazing and I would get it again
