Always have good service here. I get minestrone soup and various salads. Love the tiramisu.

Cold, halve way cooked Italian Beef

Order few trays of Italian Beef for my students. The beef was cold and halve way cooked, unless you like to eat raw cow. That azure sauce was warm, no sweet peppers, no geronara peppers, no cheese

Bruschetta - OMG some of the best I've had. Asked for a side of balsalmic vinegrette to go on top. Delicious!

I'm really happy to share this review. I happened to try this place on a hungry day at the house and ordered a pizza on UberEats. The pizza was hot and so delicious. I instantly made it a favorite on the UberEats app. My husband and I got married on 7/3/22 and we needed to return the rented tux soon thereafter and low and behold, we noticed that the Barracco's is right by the tux place so we decided to stop and dine in on 7/5/22. It's a big place - we got there early afternoon and was surprised that it wasn't busy. We ordered the Bruschetta (I asked for some balsamic vinegarette sauce to put on top), Chicken Wings in hot and bbq and a large sausage, mushroom and onion large pizza. Everything was really yummy! We had plenty to take home. Service was good and it was pretty quiet in the establishment. We will definitely continue to patronize this restaurant. Thank you Barracco's! A++!!

Marisa is the best bartender at Barraco's! She makes the literal best espresso martini you will ever have!!! The service is always top tier and I will forever come to this Barraco's just for my girl Marisa!!

Baked Mostaccioli with "extra cheese." Very disappointing.

Usually the mostaccioli comes covered in cheese. This was the first time I paid for extra cheese and they barely gave me any. I can't believe this is how much cheese they put on.

    Pizza gone wrong!

On 7/9/23 we ordered a family size veggie pizza with additional ingredients. The meat, fresh spinach, fresh garlic and fresh basil were considered as two ingredients. The price came out to over $50. I should have followed my first mind and cancelled my order but we were hungry and I thought that we can have left overs. Got the pizza home and it was the blandest pizza we ever had. We were so disappointed. I had to doctored the pizza up with seasoning and shredded cheese from home to make it tasty and they forgot the garlic. I could have saved us $40 and got a better tasting Cheese pizza from Aldi and called it a day. I spoke with the manager on 7/10/23 and he said that we should have called back in to complain and also brought the pizza back. He will inform the other night managers about my complaint but there is nothing he can do about it. My husband and I ordered from Barraco's from time to time. Usually, the pizza is satisfying to say the least. Barraos lost some good customers with this. ~ Disappointed customers,

Actually smells worse than it looks.

DONT ORDER CATERING! This is a shame I have to write this. I've ordered catering from Baracco's for years and after the food I received last....NEVER AGAIN! I ordered the chicken, beef and mostaccioli catering package for my sons birthday. Everyone who ate was sick with vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pain. I initially thought it was the chicken though because it was very dry. When I finally regained somewhat of an appetite later the next evening, I pulled the refrigerated beef out from my fridge. Upon opening the lid to the beef I immediately knew something was wrong. The beef wasn't cooked thoroughly and was swimming in red blood colored juice. I called Baracco's to let them know and was first hung up on, and then when I called back was dismissed and told "we always cook our beef to the proper internal temperature." by Jennifer, a manager. When I complained that this is apparently not the case, she told me she would let Daniella know and then hung up on me....not even taking my phone number. I really wanted to support a local business, but never again will it be this one!

The weirdly cut pizza, minced ingredients, and super sweet sauce make for an expensive disgusting pizza.

The restaurant is not busy at all. We were seated right away. Our server was nice and attentive. We ordered pizza and pasta. Pepperoni and Whipped Ricotta Pizza - cooked perfectly, fresh ingredients and delicious! Served hot! Short Rib Pappardelle - to die for! This is very tasty, the pasta is cooked al dente. The short rib sauce is ssosooo delicious! We sat by the bar overlooking the open kitchen. It was nice to see the chef make the pizza and make the pasta. Further area is more fine dining with wall of wine. Very classy! Street parking only. So plan ahead.

Normally I hate those kinds of large group dinners, but this was the perfect spot for it. The service was absolutely wonderful. I don't know how our server stayed so cool and calm with a group that size. We got a variety of things. EVERYTHING was amazing. If you have seen any of my other reviews, I always get a meatball when I'm at a place that has them. They almost never live up to my expectation. But this place has the new gold standard for a meatball. It was everything you want. It is fork tender, full of flavor, no chewy ground up bits. The pizzas were authentic and thin. With fabulous house made red sauce that wasn't too thick and overwhelming. The flavor was A+ The cocktails were so good! All made from scratch with love. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. Perfect for a group or a date. They have a full bar, and also great seating with perfect lighting. This is a new favorite for me in the city.

The ambiance is nice with the restaurant not too dark but still has moody lighting. The entire time we sat down there was a huge group of people waiting for a table, so definitely make a reservation! For apps we got garlic bread and Caesar salad. The garlic bread was a rec from our server, which did not disappoint. They brought out melted butter to pour over the bread. Caesar salad was interesting, it has chopped celery inside which I didn't realize until I started eating. I don't like celery but my sis does and she liked it in the salad. Pappardelle alla porcellino and chicken vesuvio were AMAZING. Pasta was fresh and the chicken was so decadent. Both mocktails I were delish. The tiramisu was SO GOOD. I came here for a business dinner with about 6 others. The only frustrating part of our experience was we made a reservation online weeks in advance and when we arrived we were told that they basically overbooked every night and when you reserve a seat you're just saying you're coming. So we showed up and were told we were going to wait an hour. It sounds like they are super busy, but there are better ways to ensure the restaurant is selling every available seat rather than offering basically fake reservations that don't mean anything when you get there. Someone in our group complained enough about it that they sat us and did honor the reservation which we appreciated - given that it was a business dinner though, I think it was awkward we had to do that. It just was a LOT of work to organize multiple out of towners getting together and to show up and potentially wait an hour would have been so inconvenient. They really should fix this problem. The reservation issue aside the experience was great. The service is just sort of meh I didn't feel like they were above or beyond and didn't note anything exceptional there. But the food..... the food is the main event for sure. Everything I tried I loved. I had just had Italian the day before so I didn't want anything that felt "too Italian" (lasagna, pasta, pizza, etc) so I got the braised short rib over polenta which was a nice change of pace. It was amazing. Some of the best polenta I've ever had. I am already looking forward to the next time I can go back! The food here is outstanding. If you are able to go, I would highly recommend it.

The octopus surprised me because octopus can be hit or miss for me, but they did it really well! The table bread was also pretty good and cheesy. The Caesar was just fine. Nothing special but not bad (which is good coming from me since I'm not usually big on kale). Of course all of the pastas were yummy. The fusilloni was definitely my favorite from the noodle shape to the sausage and cheese. The ricotta dumplings were suuuuuper cheesy which I really liked (though I could see why others wouldn't) and had a melt in your mouth softness. The rigatoni was tasty, but kinda just tasted like a normal red sauce so would probably try something more interesting next time. We really enjoyed the chicken parm, too. Not as good as the pastas, but definitely tasty and the basil was a good touch. We finished with the guava cheesecake sundae. I really liked the little bits of cake, but the ice cream itself was a little lacking for me. Still a nice sweet treat to finish the meal!! We had the perfect amount of food overall for 4 people!

The fritto misto was ok, the breading tasted like it was old or had been sitting out. Not as crispy as we'd hope. To be honest felt like frozen calamari quality. The Alla Vita chopped was pretty standard, kinda reminded me of Olive Garden salad lol. The stars of the meal were the tagliatelle and cappelletti pasta. Both were super flavorful and pasta cooked well. The bone-in ribeye was a little on the sweeter side, definitely lacked a crust and salt. I'd pass on the steak IMO. Our biggest qualm was the timing of the dishes coming out. The pasta came out 30-35 minutes after the appetizer and salad which is fine, but the steak coming out 15 minutes after the pasta kinda ruined it. We'd love to eat the entrees (steak and pasta) together, and not finish our pasta first or let it go cold then eat steak alone.. ya know? We had ordered crispy potatoes but cancelled due to the wait. Ended the night with mango passion fruit sorbet with a prosecco float. Big mistake on the prosecco float haha it was so tarte and bitter, would def recommend trying the sorbet alone! Overall, glad we finally got to try this place. Focus more on the pastas and skip the steak. Very beautiful inside.
