Happy Hour all Day Sunday
Tammy J.

We decided to try this place for an afternoon snack and drink for their all day Sunday happy hour. It was quiet at about 2-3 pm. The bartender was friendly and courteous. The food was delicious. We had the deviled eggs, loaded tots and the 6 piece chicken wings. I had a draft root beer and my husband had a Mai Thai which unfortunately the bartender wasn't for sure how to make and they didn't have all the right ingredients. This place just recently opened. They have indoor and outdoor seating and bar seating.

Always good to try a new place. We were in South Reno, and I wanted a cocktail so we searched happy hour on Yelp. This place was near, and had an interesting happy hour menu. Happy hours all day Sunday. They basically take one dollar to two dollars off of the regular price. The regular price items are really not that bad anyway. What we ordered: Mai Tai Draft root beer Loaded tots Salt, pepper, chicken wings Devil'd eggs The place was not busy at all. Bartender greeted us friendly. 95% of the tables are tall with tall barstools. Luckily there's a shorter table in the back as I do not like sitting at the tall tables with tall barstools. The food was interesting but good. The deviled eggs, didn't really have any yolk that we could see. It was basically 1000 Island dressing? With a slice of bacon, some tomato, paprika. The loaded tater tot's had a beer cheese sauce...it what's made from beer cheese... Not very cheesy. I'm not sure, got the impression that the sauce was thicken with flour? It was not like any cheese sauce I ever had, however, again we finished them. Finally we the salt and pepper chicken wings. They were cooked perfectly. For happy hour, they took six dollars off of our check . So decent price, good drinks, tasty food. We will definitely be back.

If you're looking for a friendly neighborhood "Cheers" bar, Barrel &Bine is your go to bar. Ken, owner, is there to greet you and show you their fine selections of beers, cocktails and batch cocktails. They have a variety of lagers, IPA's, seltzers and other libations. The food is very good and brought to you quickly. They offer wings, sandwiches and various appetizers. Stop by and say Hello to Stacey, one of the nicest bartenders in Reno.

We went to check out their grand opening event after seeing it on social media. They have a good selection of beer, some wine, and a handful of cocktails. It was nice to see several local breweries represented. My boyfriend likes red/amber beers so he had the Revision Red. I had a Parlay 6 hard seltzer and the Woodland Whisperer cocktail. The presentation on the cocktail was pretty. But I didn't really taste the gin at all. We didn't order food but the menu had some of your typical bar fare. Our bartender Sean was very personable and the vibe was really relaxed. The highlight for me was when Santa came in for some holiday cheer. We don't live on that side of town but would definitely stop by again if we are in that neck of the woods. It's a welcome edition.

A new place with a happy hour? Say less! I went in a few days before the grand opening and had a mostly positive experience. The drinks and service were good, but the food was a little mixed. It seems like food isn't their focus, they are a beer/cocktail bar that happens to have some pretty decent snacking options. A great place to hang out and watch a game, and have some snacks. It's nice to have some bar snacks that aren't chicken wings, french fires, and pizzas. I got the grilled cheese, tomato soup, and pretzel bites. The grilled cheese was pretty good, and the pretzel bites were very good (especially the beer cheese). But the tomato soup tasted more like canned tomato paste than anything else. I get that it's a new place and they are still figuring things out, and making adjustments, so I'm willing to try it again another time. Happy hour is $2 off all drinks all day Sunday.

We were passing by and seen the open sign on, so we stopped in for what they called a 'soft opening'. The bartender was friendly and fun to chat with. Prices were reasonable. My wife really enjoyed the panini sandwich. Their food menu is on the small side, but they did say they have other things planned. Beer variety was good even though it is substantially less than the previous occupants. I was glad it wasn't just a plethora of various IPAs. I didn't get a chance to try any cocktails but do plan on returning and will definitely give those a go.

Watermelon Lime Seltzer - delicious!

It was 3 of us and sat a nice large table. My son started off with some mozzarella sticks and dumplings and they were delicious. Good cheese pull on mozzarella sticks . I had a peach old fashioned which was very nice and smooth . Had the parlor burger and tots, it was massive but very good . Rani was our server and she was excellent and took good care of us . Wife and son had a burger as well the vintage burger and chefs burger . They enjoyed as well . All of food and service was great. Will be back again . Enjoy !!!!

The lighting fixtures were fun and unique. There were tvs everywhere. Of course one was tuned to atmosphere and some bar trivia was playing. We started off dinner with some fried wontons. They were flavorful and cooked well. We ordered the French onion soup and the chef's burger with fries. The soup said on the menu it came with homemade croutons but instead it came with generic saltine crackers. Also it was made with red onion instead of yellow onion which was a ... choice. The burger, however, was perfect. The flavors were good, it was cooked exactly as ordered, medium rare. Our waitress was great. We absolutely loved her. Even though she was the only waitress there she was on her game. She was honest and professional and really had a great personality. Food came out in a timely fashion. The cocktails were delicious. The restaurant was clean and well taken care of. Overall we enjoyed our time here and if we happen to be passing through again we would stop here.

It was low enough key for us yet still fun, it was packed and we first sat on a corner edge by the fire the only seats open and it was overwhelmingly HOT by the fire even though the ambiance is lovely. We got super lucky when a couple of ladies left before the countdown so we moved to a table. It was still decorated like Christmas inside and it was super cute. We all LOVED our drinks mine was like a boozy (honestly was there even booze in it lol) milkshake and I tried my friends, one was a special holiday drink "sugar plum fairy" which was sweeter and yummy and other friend got a baileys based martini also very yummy. I can't remember exact names but see pics haha. Really made me wanna come back for that milkshake drink sooner than the once a year or every two years I prob make it in here. For the Older crowd.

So, after dinner he wanted to take me to this fancy Fireside Lounge for drinks after dinner. It was hella hard to find, but we did finally. It's near the Italian place called Romanza. It's supposed to be like the old school fireplace lounges the Peppermill restaurants used to have. I don't think there's any Peppermill restaurants around anymore, just this casino. My friend told me all locals get 20% off at any of the restaurants, so that's kinds cool. Inside this lounge, it's really on the dark side and there's lots of soft puffy couches and love seats. If you wanted a dark booth to make out in, this is the place! There's nice seating around the gas fireplace if you want, but those seats go fast on busy nights. I thought the music was kinda loud, but that might just be me. I don't think there's much food served in here, just fancy drinks before the making out starts! They have there monster big bowl drinks to share like a Scorpion, I think full of rum and other stuff. That thing's gonna be a headache in the morning! It was fun staying for a round of drinks, we got one of the darker booths ... you know for making out! Check it out, if you can find the lounge!
