Have been a fan of Barrows for years. We recently ordered a delivery last night. Asked that they leave the pizza at the door due to my crazy dog. They did as instructed but are you kidding me they never ran the door bell to let me know he dropped it off. This Barros is now situated down the street from its original location on Alma school. It's now on Arizona Ave and Warner. The inside of this place is modern, clean, spacious, and much better then the previous location. We stopped by last Monday for dinner and it was pretty empty. The two girls working the front quickly greeted us and gave us time to look over the menu. We ordered: Two large pizzas - one supreme and one pepperoni One house salad One order of boneless buffalo wings Two drinks Total spent: $80.00 The salad came out first, then the wings, then the pizzas. Everything that was supposed to be hot came out hot and the salad was fresh and nicely chilled. The workers brought everything out one by one and they were friendly each time. While at a friend's house for a night in dying our hair, we all decided to order something in. My friend likes to use DoorDash for third party ordering to her place and her kiddos suggested pizza. This was the first time ordering pizza through a third party versus having the actual store deliver, which I feel is superior as they have the pizza warmer containers to keep the items warmer. I don't believe DoorDash has pizza shaped warmer bags, and I felt like the quality wasn't quite up to Barro's standards. Though, it could be the locations near me are better. As for the food, everyone seemed to be satisfied so it wasn't a bad meal. I think since I'm used to top tier quality at other Barro's locations, I was a little let down (average 3-Star). Next time, I may suggest going there to see the interior and enjoy the atmosphere of Barro's. This would also ensure the food is nice and hot. read more

The food was fine, but there was a roach in the dining area. I hope it walked in from outside and hadn't been to the kitchen at all.

Because of schedules we found ourselves without an idea for dinner so why not create a possible yelptability! So I ordered pizza and wings and planned to go pick it up. When I arrived at 8:55 pm I thought maybe I ordered to late or maybe they were closing soon (which would have bummed me out because I hate being that guy) because the big sign on the front of the building was off. When I google mapped it, I noticed they didn't close until 10. There weren't many people inside, like 4, and I thought about how they might have been losing business because of the sign. I'm sure ownership would want that thing on. But my order was ready and the girl working was very friendly. She smiled during our entire short interaction and was very helpful asking if I needed peppers and cheese and extras. The pizza was good like it always is at Barros and the wings were on point. I would recommend this location and I would add to double check the closing time in case the sign is off as it's pretty noticeable now that it gets dark so much earlier than say, a month or two ago. read more

The Bathroom: Old reliable bowls here. As per other reviews I took a black light and some luminol to the restroom as I always do before preparing to "drop the kids off at the pool". No blood here. The aroma of the air freshener was pleasant and familiar. Probably stock bathroom aroma. I still wonder what the fragrance name is. I'd consider wearing it for my next date night. The bathroom was pleasant. Gentleman, degenerates, and truck drivers rejoice. This is a place where you may safely consider not placing either an "as* Gasket" or preparing a TP next before evacuating. The Food: Eh. I come here because I'm dragged here. I don't find myself craving their pizza. The WINGS are great. The sauces make it worth dealing with most issues privileged easily offended people are bothered by. The salad is really good too. So cold it'll freeze your teeth. Overall a three because it's never been awful and never will be. Five stars isn't what this place does and I don't mean that in a bad way. They don't care about that. They're here providing a service that is special to their family, it's not meant to be perfect, it's meant to be shared. Nothing is ever perfect. I'm just not a big fan of their pizza style. I ordered takeout on Friday night, since Barro's is my husband's favorite pizza. I didn't realize this location moved! It's super close to our house, and they did a great job with the renovations. The previous location was dark and dingy. This location is really clean on the inside too. The online ordering process is really easy. My pizza was ready a couple of minutes before the specified time. The young lad at the counter was really friendly and even gave me an extra ranch when I had to come back in for mine - you pay 75 cents for a little container, I wasn't about to go home without it! Their ranch is also really good. The pizza survived the short drive home, but I have to say, it's not my favorite. A little less than average IMO. But like I said, it's my husbanded favorite! We got an XL extra cheese with half banana peppers and half mushrooms. They didn't skimp on the toppings at all. The sauce is way too sweet for me. I feel their pizzas are very reasonably priced. I typically love Barro's but I wasn't pleased with our last visit. We ordered the Kona pizza with pepperoni instead of chicken. It was drenched in sauce and way too sweet. It was also burnt in some areas. With the overly sweetness and burnt parts of the pizza, it did not sit well with us. read more

We are so excited that this Barro's is thriving here in Chandler. It might be because of the service and food. I'll call in an order and whoever answers is kind and never gets my order wrong. This place isn't just pizza place. We ordered food from here for my kids graduation party. The spaghetti with meatballs was very delicious. We also ordered sandwiches which were top notch. Simply put, this is not the Barro's we grew up with. The slices are half the size that they used to be, at twice the price! Their lunch special used to be one of the best in town, and now it's just kind of ok. "Mid" is the term the kids use these days I think. Their overly doughy, dense and sparsely sauced slices were just sort of ok, but I just cannot stop judging them against what they used to be. This was my worst experience (food wise) at a barro's ever. The employees were very nice and helpful but good quality was not up to par. We ordered cheese sticks, garlic cheese bread, and a pizza. The cheese sticks were horrible. They tasted like they were fried in burnt oil that has never been changed. They had a very strong burnt oil flavor to them The garlic cheese bread was thin and lacked any garlic and almost no cheese flavor. It was like eating a dry cracker. I can't explain it any more. The pizza was the only redeeming part of our dinner and that still wasn't that great. As you can see by the picture the center of the pizza had all the cheese and then the outside of the pizza had such little cheese it seemed like it wasn't even there. It was just a ton of topping-less crust. It was a disappointing experience because I recently moved to the area and used to go to a north Phoenix barros for lunch often but this one, two miles from our new home, was very disappointing. read more

Sorry for the delayed review. On September 14, 2024, we ordered the large pizza combo with traditional wings. The pizza we ordered was not the sane! The pizza was regular crust and very dry. The sauce was inadequate. There was barely any sauce on the pizza. Also, we go to Barros, particularly for the Salt & Vinegoar wings, and we're told that they were out of these wings. Came in here with my husband today to pick up pizza and wings for my in-laws. Right when I came in I was overwhelmed by what smelt like old sweaty feet, definitely not something that is appealing in any sense but especially a restaurant.
