I have to admit that for a croissant lover..... the ham and cheese on croissant is my least favorite....the roll was great. They have wonderful baguettes but get there early for them they do sell out quick! Service gets the job done quick and easy!!

Enjoyed Lee's sandwiches for first time. Ordered for family gathering Banh mi pork & special offerings . The real " French influenced baguette with its crusty crunchy outer and soft interior is the" star " that holds together the sandwich . I enjoyed the special with a combo of meats , pickled veggies,& pate . We also had the pork also very good. Many other Vietnamese offering to experience & enjoy . There's several Lees Sandwiches around the valley . Try it!

#1 combo no mayo - more expensive and smaller

Again, another lackluster experience. I needed some food before a meeting and this banh mi place was on the way, so I stopped in. At 6:30pm, again, I was greeted by the Asian chain smoker men outside and even coming into the store, you can smell the second hand smoke. I know that these men need a place to find community but gosh can you guys quit smoking already? I feel like the health department could step in here as this would never be allowable in NYC as the second hand smoke is harmful to others. But whatever, its Maricopa County, live and let die or whatever that motto is. I ordered the #1 combo and no mayo. Order came to close to $9, which is more expensive than ones in California! Wow! I can get a banh mi in California for about $7.50. The banh mi is also smaller than the ones I have gotten in California, so they are skimping here and probably making more a profit margin. This is probably my last visit to Lee's in Phoenix. After a close to 10 year relationship, I am breaking up with this place.

Drinks and service suck. I paid $5.99, $6.99, and $7.49 (before tax) for each drink and they didn't even fill it up all the way just because I didn't want ice. I was upset and told the employees but she still didn't do anything about it and was very rude to me too. Never coming back here ever again. I would not recommend anyone going to this place unless you want to get scammed and pay for overpriced watery drinks. Oh and deal with rude employees too. I wish There was a zero star option but sadly one star is the lowest.... Hahahaha! You've been warned!

I've been coming to this location since 1952! Although back then it was an empty desert of vast land with nothing on it. Luckily, Lee's Sandwiches opened here in 2005 serving up an array (lots) of different sandwiches, bread baguettes, croissants along with other eats & drinks. Recently I did notice a sign of the times, small price hike and slightly smaller portions. The taste however was still great, and satisfying therefore will keep coming back. Service is simple: order with a cashier then wait for your number to be called at the "Pick Up" area. Condiments are plentiful at the same pick up spot so don't forget, like me. They have plenty of seating space if one chooses to eat on site. We however always take our orders home to-go. Always delicious, never lets us down, Lee's sandwiches continues to be a hit.

I love how there is Lee's sandwhiches in Arizona. Their vietnamese coffee is so gooddd. Its super strong. I also got their thai tea and I liked how it was perfect - not too sweet which is the best asian compliment. I really like their breadsticks and was craving it which is why we stopped by. We got their bbq pork, pate, and grilled pork. My favorites were the grilled pork and bbq pork. The breadsticks are made fresh, so it came out so crispy and warm - DELISHHH!! It's also $3.50 so it's a good cheap snack. It gets kinda loud in there with the loud music and I see a lot of old folks playing games and socializing there. The breadsticks and drinks came out within 10 minutes. There were a bunch of tables and booths to sit at. They also take card. Parking is easy.

I love Lee's but I haven't gone here in a while, so I decided to stop for lunch with my pal. They have remodeled the inside giving it a more restaurant vibe instead of the grab n go model. I always get the Almond tuna crossain't and a bag of chips. I swear that, they have the best croissants in town, in which, you can buy them individually. There's parking onsite but very limited, however, you could park across the street as well. They have great Vietnamese coffee but one has to be careful drinking it since, it's like having coffee on steroids. You will literally be up all day and night drinking a cup. Lol Yes yes yes I recommend eating here!

Order the banana coffee and let me tell you soooo amazing! I get why there's a hype for this coffee. I was a bit in a rush so didn't get to try anything else but if you looking for a good banana flavored coffee that doesn't taste artificial ... this is the place! It was fairly busy place so I imagine other things are great also! Can't wait to come back to try more!

Such a gem! Great lunch spot with TONS of seating. Authentic, accommodating, and quick. The food was wonderful. Love the sandwiches, the bao, and the coffee! Thankfully I don't live closer, because I'd be snacking at Lee's far too often. Oh and did I mention, affordable? The menu is huge, so you could keep coming back over and over without growing bored.

Vietnamese bahn mi spot that offers a multitude of options. There is ample seating and grocery items available to purchase as well. The sandwiches are made to order and I had to wait what seemed longer than normal. The bread is made fresh in house and I ordered the lemongrass chicken. There was a large stalk of cilantro, but I appreciate fresh herbs. The prices are still fair and I will go again.

We were driving by this place and it was very busy so, we came back the next day (early afternoon) and it wasn't as busy (not at all) we decided to try a few things and their honeydew melon smoothie is my favorite. Me and my Mom decided to sit for a while and noticed there was only one other person at a nearby table, there were about 10 guys sitting outside all smoking heavily and looked to be playing cards? There is a case with premade things that you can just grab and pay for but, they had to make our stuff and we were given a # and abut 5 to 8 min later they were both called (pretty quick process) everything was fresh and tasty.

This place is great my wife and I first time here the food looks really good. Service was awesome. The ambience is great very unique Looking only thing is I wanted an iced coffee they don't have sugar-free options.

    Groceries too.

Price and quality did not match…read more I ordered the pastrami sandwich and immediately noticed some cost cutting choices, like butter flavored spray (can we use real butter) US Foods/Chef's Store sourdough bread, (can we use real sourdough bread) and a microwave sitting next to the griddle (which the griddle looks like it has not been cleaned very often). I didn't think much of it at first, but then I watched the owner heat the pastrami in the microwave before assembling the sandwich. I've never had a deli sandwich prepared that way right in front of me, and it was disappointing. She also pulled out a large bag of Taylor Farms shredded lettuce. I asked for no lettuce, and she joked that "people don't want lettuce anymore." Given the recent news surrounding Taylor Farms, that comment didn't exactly inspire confidence. What really surprised me was that the pastrami was placed in a plastic basket and microwaved. Whether or not it's considered safe, seeing food heated that way wasn't very appetizing. Looking around, there also didn't appear to be any real kitchen equipment for preparing hot sandwiches beyond a microwave. A Blackstone griddle or even a quality countertop oven would have inspired much more confidence in the food, especially considering the owner's Yelp responses emphasizing the quality of their sandwiches. From what I experienced, the preparation didn't match those claims. In the end, we ordered just one pastrami sandwich and one beer, and the total came to about $25, with the sandwich alone costing over $17. For that price, I expected much better ingredients and preparation. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match the cost. We tried to be as nice as possible but we left feeling pretty disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there.

Everything else was terrible. And please note by my reviews that I'm an easy grader. Went with my uncle for lunch. We each had the three meat plate. I chose fattier brisket, pastrami and ribs plus two sides. This came out to ~$36 each. Total bill for the two of us was over $100 by adding drink, cookie, tax and tip. My uncle got kielbasa, brisket and pastrami. Our guess is that the food is brought in sealed and they microwave or use some similar reheat method and do no "cooking" there. All of my meats were beyond dry. It's really hard to convey how dry. The ribs were the biggest terror point since not only was it as tough as leather but it tasted like it was doused in iodized salt. My uncle's plate was not any better. The kielbasa was sliced and overcooked so badly that the sliced edges were burnt and frayed - you've got to really try hard to screw up preserved sausage. I could only do a few bites and threw it all in the trash. They were getting busy and I was not going to stand back in line with trays of food to broach the problems. They make sure to ask for a tip at time of order but there's no service for quality control. My uncle texted me later in the day: "Today's restaurant was such an awful choice for BarBQ. I can't remember when I had worse. We have to go to a real good one next time." It is crazy how bad this lunch experience was and a rarity that Yelps score misses the mark so badly.
