Love me some Mr pickles!!! I was obsessed with them when i lived in California. There was a location that had the local high school make a sandwich so they can get featured at their shop and it was so good!!! I can't get that sandwich again because I don't remember which location it was!!! lol Anywho the Dutch crunch is def the bread you need to get and everything here is good. I ordered on the kiosk but it lagged soooo much I wasn't sure if my order went through. I tried to print a receipt but no worky work. By the time I gathered up the courage to go to the front counter and ask about my order my sandwich was done. 10 out of 10 would visit this location again!!!! I love having Mr pickles in town!

Let me say that this place is the best for a consistently delicious sandwich that hits every time. The food is out quick with quality flavors. I got the SPICY BIRD!! It had Turkey Breast, Pepper Jack, Jalapenos, Baja sauce and the works. The Baja sauce is great and love the jalapeños for a kick.

In the area today and had been wanting to try this sandwich shop. My son, my daughter and I came in and we were pleased to be first timers. It was around lunchtime and so there were a few people inside eating in, but we wanted to take advantage of their carry out. After reviewing their menu, my daughter and I went with the Italian sub and my son got their Goat. Both my son and daughter got theirs on the Dutch Crunch Roll & I opted for the Sourdough. Noticed that it looked to be the bread is brought in by their vendor & then it's baked off in the over prior to filling each order. Service was good. However, I'd have to say for the price the sizes (3,6,12") is a little on the steep side IMO. The crunch bread my kids got they were really not a fan of. It was far too crunchy & difficult to bite through. Mine was fine, it was soft. That said, not a lot of filling between the two slices yet the meat was pretty tasty. Over all, just an average sandwich with standard topping. I can say rating it off other local chains, this was my least favorite one unfortunately.

Hang Loose
Jessica D.

Customer service isn't the greatest said hi and explained it was my first time so the guy at the counter told me to turn around and look. My sandwich was a hang loose so excited to try it, got home and I was given roast beef instead of pastrami!! Huge disappointment. When they call you to pick up your food it's just left on the counter after and when I said thank you no on turned around and acknowledged me. Customer service was poor. Sandwich was fresh. The place was extremely clean and well lit. I will try again and I hope my sandwich is correct and customer service is better.

Spicy Bird!

First time there and went for our team lunch. Ordered 4 different sandwiches and everyone spoke highly of the experience. I had the Spicy Bird (see pix) and it was delicious! The chocolate chip cookie they toss in was an unexpected bonus. Overall a great experience and will do it again!

Duck

Took my godmother here and she now mentions it every time we chat on the phone. Take your family members at the risk of them becoming obsessed. Forgot to take a picture of the food, but we ate at a nearby park that had ducks.

Perfect sandwich. The Mr. Pickle on Dutch crunch is simply perfect. The crunchy, flavorful bread holds a heartily stuffed sandwich that will satisfy the biggest of appetites. The service was quick despite a busy lunch rush (lots of online orders). The seating area inside is small, but I appreciate the fountain drinks. I need the refills in this hot weather. It's easily the best sandwich in the area.

This place is the bombbbbb. We stopped by for some late lunch on a Saturday evening and it wasn't too busy. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the employee was very friendly. We had already looked over the menu so we knew what we wanted. We ordered: One "The Mr. Pickle" One "Got Beef" to go One "Big Easy" The sandwiches didn't take too long to be ready and the same person who we ordered with called us up. The sandwiches were delicious! This was my first time trying out the Dutch crunch bread and it was the best thing ever. It was crunchy, hot , and tasted really good. It gave the sandwich a whole different flavor. The prices are reasonable and our sandwiches all came with a free chocolate chip cookie. The inside was clean and I thought the Chandler sign by the register was really cute. This place is a must for some yummy sandwiches!

CJ's Pastrami

I could eat here multiple times a week and not get tired of it! My husband and I tried Mr. Pickles for the first time and we immediately fell in love. Service was kind and fast and the location in Chandler had lots of seating inside and out. I ordered CJs Pastrami and added the works on Dutch crunch bread and my husband ordered the Got Beef on Dutch crunch bread too. We got a full sandwich and saved half because it was a filling sandwich, but it was so good I wanted to eat the whole thing! The works on any sandwich add so much flavor and the Dutch crunch bread is perfectly crispy and soft. We also got chocolate chip cookies and it was a perfect sweet treat after our meal. Absolutely delicious sandwich and will be returning often!!

Craving good deli sandwiches!? Come to Mr. Pickles! I got the Cali Tuna -yummy! Enough tuna, bread and veggie ratio. When I first got the sandwich, I was thinking this is not 6 inches (comparing to Subway's size). But surprisingly, I got full and barely finished it. Also found a nice cookie inside! The cookie was 9.5/10! Service was great! Plenty of seating inside and outside. I'll bring my husband here sometime.

Cool counter design!

Always a good time at Mr. Pickles! Saw the manager interviewing people so that's good! Love to see that they are doing well. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for?!

I was super stoked to check a place with "retro" in the name out, and I gotta be honest here, I left with pretty mixed emotions about a lot of things. The restaurant itself is pretty boring inside, mostly just being black with a few small pictures hanging up. I was kind of expecting big retro movie posters or something hanging around, but I definitely didn't get much of a retro vibe from this place minus a small neon "bar" sign and a claw machine in the corner. The menus were very cool, right by the front door its a record shelf and the records were the menus, so thumbs up for that idea. I thought i was mistaken, but I don't remember seeing sandwich prices on the actual menu, but as I look at other photos on yelp it does appear that the sandwiches don't have prices attached to them, which explains why I was thrown off by the end price. I settled on ordering the "take on me" which was black forest ham, roasted turkey, hickory smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and mayo on a Hawaiian style roll. I also ordered a sprite and a chocolate chip cookie as a side. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, pretty standard cookie though definitely not worth $3.75. The sprite was $2.99, and the sandwich came to $15.58. I was also charged $0.96 for something called the advantage program which I have no idea what that is. I gotta say, spending over $25 on a sandwich, a small cookie, and a drink is not something I would care to do at a place like this. The sandwich itself was very good, I won't deny that. The meat tasted fresh, and when it was all together it was definitely a good sandwich, but when there's not combo option and a basic sandwich, cookie, and drink ends up being $25 it's gonna be a no from me on returning in the future. Overall, I really wanted to love this place for the name, but the lack of much decorations and prices left something to be desired. The food itself was good, but not worth what was spent.

Everything else was terrible. And please note by my reviews that I'm an easy grader. Went with my uncle for lunch. We each had the three meat plate. I chose fattier brisket, pastrami and ribs plus two sides. This came out to ~$36 each. Total bill for the two of us was over $100 by adding drink, cookie, tax and tip. My uncle got kielbasa, brisket and pastrami. Our guess is that the food is brought in sealed and they microwave or use some similar reheat method and do no "cooking" there. All of my meats were beyond dry. It's really hard to convey how dry. The ribs were the biggest terror point since not only was it as tough as leather but it tasted like it was doused in iodized salt. My uncle's plate was not any better. The kielbasa was sliced and overcooked so badly that the sliced edges were burnt and frayed - you've got to really try hard to screw up preserved sausage. I could only do a few bites and threw it all in the trash. They were getting busy and I was not going to stand back in line with trays of food to broach the problems. They make sure to ask for a tip at time of order but there's no service for quality control. My uncle texted me later in the day: "Today's restaurant was such an awful choice for BarBQ. I can't remember when I had worse. We have to go to a real good one next time." It is crazy how bad this lunch experience was and a rarity that Yelps score misses the mark so badly.

Today I stopped by after work and the patio wasn't as full, but there was a good size group gathered outside. The sandwiches here are so damn tasty, and you have to give them credit for making their own bread daily. You can taste the difference and you're never gonna get stale bread here, no sir!! They also offer a wide variety of Asian goods such as Vietnamese coffee you can make at home, spam, pastries, and a variety of chips you can't find in a regular grocery store. The prices for these banh mi sandwiches are very reasonable. One sandwich costs around $9. You can cut it in half and split it into 2 which is a deal! They make mine without jalapeños which is exactly how I like it. They forgot and put some in one of my sandwiches tonight, but no biggie. I just picked them off, lol. The dining room is large, but I have never dined in. I will eventually! The variety is enough for you to stand there a good while and ponder on what you want. My fatty self has ordered 2 sandwiches each time with a drink, and I'll probably keep that going! I also like that they offer smoothies, milk teas and other drinks you can add toppings to. You already know what I got! ;) The employees are always friendly and patient when I have questions. I'm glad I live nearby so if I get a craving, I don't have to drive an hour like I used to have to back home in CA!! I'll be coming here often for sure.
