Outta Bronx is a little restaurant that we decided to pick up sandwiches and take them home. When you walk in, the shop is small but they make the most of it with tables and chairs. They have a little cooler with individual slices of different cheesecakes and other cakes. We were greeted when we walked and and provided with recommendations and customer favorites. We decided to try the Empire Steak and the East Coast sandwiches with a side of 50/50 onion rings and French fries. The Empire Steak was really good and loaded with meat, cheese, onions and peppers. The bread was absolutely delicious. I decided it needed a little more so I added some jalapeños making it perfect. The East Coast was good. The pastrami was a little fatty but had great flavor. The onion rings and fries were good too. We will go back to try other items.

Phenomenal!! Juicy corn beef, perfectly stacked, not too much of anything. Fried zucchini was good, and the ceaser dressing was fantastic!

The other night my son was over and we had been talking about wings. That started the craving. I had heard of Outta Bronx and I've been eyeing their sandwiches so when I saw wings on the menu I was all about it. The delivery was pretty prompt and the wings were still hot and delicious. They were semi crispy which made it even better. I can't comment on the restaurant itself considering it was a delivery but I do plan to visit this place in the future to try out one of those delicious looking subs they have on the menu!!!

Decent spot for hot subs and other fried food tucked in a strip mall in Chandler. Friendly son of the owner. Good recommendation (Empire Steak) was super delicious. Only issue was a bit of a raw sewage or intense cleaning product smell... bearable, but a bit unappetizing and something they should get checked out.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was even better! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his son and they were incredibly kind. Plus everything on the menu is halal! This place is truly a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit!

We ate at the Phx location a month ago and it was good so, living in Chandler, we decided to try this location. Food- fish n chips were mushy and salty and the chopped cheese sandwich was good but salty. The place opens at 11:00 and we're got there at 11:30 and it was locked. The owner was running late and was alone. He was nice and quickly got our order going. The place was totally empty and quiet the whole time we were there. There is a hookah place next door and the smell is strong in the restaurant. However, they had their politics right out in the open, written on a sticker, next to the register. Did we need to know their stance on Israel, Gaza, and Palestine??? We have no problem supporting good food and good people but we will not be preached to. You decide but we won't be back.

Sonoran and chili dog SO GOOD

delicioso. I have no other words. The people are so nice. The hot dog is juicy. Good vibe

Great sandwiches, great service and. attentive employees hustling the whole time we were there. We ordered the Chopped cheese, Fat stack & I had the Empire steak with extra onions. Sandwiches came out piping hot and loaded with the ingredients. The fries we ordered were crispy & well seasoned as well. There ere about six small tables inside and also a TV with a soccer game on. Definitely gonna try the wings and pizza next time since I overheard a couple other customers rave about them. Go say what's up Murad he'll take care of you

Empire steak sandwich and seasoned fries. Delicious!

I was super stoked to check a place with "retro" in the name out, and I gotta be honest here, I left with pretty mixed emotions about a lot of things. The restaurant itself is pretty boring inside, mostly just being black with a few small pictures hanging up. I was kind of expecting big retro movie posters or something hanging around, but I definitely didn't get much of a retro vibe from this place minus a small neon "bar" sign and a claw machine in the corner. The menus were very cool, right by the front door its a record shelf and the records were the menus, so thumbs up for that idea. I thought i was mistaken, but I don't remember seeing sandwich prices on the actual menu, but as I look at other photos on yelp it does appear that the sandwiches don't have prices attached to them, which explains why I was thrown off by the end price. I settled on ordering the "take on me" which was black forest ham, roasted turkey, hickory smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and mayo on a Hawaiian style roll. I also ordered a sprite and a chocolate chip cookie as a side. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, pretty standard cookie though definitely not worth $3.75. The sprite was $2.99, and the sandwich came to $15.58. I was also charged $0.96 for something called the advantage program which I have no idea what that is. I gotta say, spending over $25 on a sandwich, a small cookie, and a drink is not something I would care to do at a place like this. The sandwich itself was very good, I won't deny that. The meat tasted fresh, and when it was all together it was definitely a good sandwich, but when there's not combo option and a basic sandwich, cookie, and drink ends up being $25 it's gonna be a no from me on returning in the future. Overall, I really wanted to love this place for the name, but the lack of much decorations and prices left something to be desired. The food itself was good, but not worth what was spent.

Everything else was terrible. And please note by my reviews that I'm an easy grader. Went with my uncle for lunch. We each had the three meat plate. I chose fattier brisket, pastrami and ribs plus two sides. This came out to ~$36 each. Total bill for the two of us was over $100 by adding drink, cookie, tax and tip. My uncle got kielbasa, brisket and pastrami. Our guess is that the food is brought in sealed and they microwave or use some similar reheat method and do no "cooking" there. All of my meats were beyond dry. It's really hard to convey how dry. The ribs were the biggest terror point since not only was it as tough as leather but it tasted like it was doused in iodized salt. My uncle's plate was not any better. The kielbasa was sliced and overcooked so badly that the sliced edges were burnt and frayed - you've got to really try hard to screw up preserved sausage. I could only do a few bites and threw it all in the trash. They were getting busy and I was not going to stand back in line with trays of food to broach the problems. They make sure to ask for a tip at time of order but there's no service for quality control. My uncle texted me later in the day: "Today's restaurant was such an awful choice for BarBQ. I can't remember when I had worse. We have to go to a real good one next time." It is crazy how bad this lunch experience was and a rarity that Yelps score misses the mark so badly.

They also offer a wide variety of Asian goods such as Vietnamese coffee you can make at home, spam, pastries, and a variety of chips you can't find in a regular grocery store. The prices for these banh mi sandwiches are very reasonable. One sandwich costs around $9. You can cut it in half and split it into 2 which is a deal! They make mine without jalapeños which is exactly how I like it. They forgot and put some in one of my sandwiches tonight, but no biggie. I just picked them off, lol. The dining room is large, but I have never dined in. I will eventually! The variety is enough for you to stand there a good while and ponder on what you want. Option of salad, chips, or wheatberry salad): We got this with the wheatberry salad and a 20 oz cold brew to wash it down with. A Chiltepin or Bird Pepper, is a wild, hot pepper native to the Americas, often considered the ancestor of cultivated peppers. It's a perennial shrub with small, white flowers and tiny, red, very spicy berries that are dispersed by birds, and it thrives in warm, sunny conditions with well-draining soil. My grandma and parents use to grow them and I didn't realize how good I had it until I tried looking for my own chiltepin plant to grow. I can't find any so I guess I'll just have to come here for some cream cheese. - Chocolate Cherry Loaf ($12.00 - Only sold on Saturday and Sunday): Yum yum YUM!!!
