The only reason this place got higher than 1 star is because the food was good. We got here at 6pm, ordered two XL pizzas, an order of wings, 5 drinks and three salad bars. The soda machine had barely any ice in it, and the kid filling it up took 10 minutes to put three bags of ice in it. The salad bar was empty the whole time we were here, so I didn't even get half a salad. It is now 7:48pm and we still have yet to receive all of our food. One pizza is here, but that's after we complained to four different staff members that it had been over an hour since we ordered and didn't get our food yet. I will never EVER come back to this place. I don't care how good the food is, I will never recommend this place to anyone. Terrible service, snotty staff. The owner really needs to be in here and get someone trained, because obviously nobody who works here is. read more

I stop for lunch here 2-3 times per month. I order one slice of pizza, a salad and a diet coke for $4.77. The pizza is always good, hot and served quickly. The salad is fresh but they do kinda short ya on the amount of dressing they give you. I dont think you can find a better place to grab a quick bite to eat for less than $5. Great for lunch but not so much on delivery. a few weeks ago, my wife and I had a few friends over and I had ordered a couple pizzas for delivery so that they would be here by the time everyone had arrived. They said it would be like 45 minutes. I was cool, until the 1 hour mark came around. My pizza finally got to my door at 1 hour and 15 minutes and the kid looked like he was about 12 delivering my pizza. I felt like I had to make sure he didn't eat any of it on the way over. Flavorful pizza! Chewy crust and tastes like they use a very good quality mozzarella. This location is a little busy so we called in our order for pick up. Love this place, never have had a bad experience at the location even when it is super packed. Pizza is always on point and so are the wings- both boneless and bone-in. Use to be AWESOME! In the past, Barros was the #1 place for my family, not any more. We ordered delivery, BOTH pizzas came stuck to the box. Since I'm a loving mother and decided to not feed my family cardboard and pizza for dinner, I called to see if the pizza could be replaced. The manager was kind and offered to do so. The issue is, the driver returned with ONE PIZZA & asked for BOTH BACK. I gave him both pizzas and told him to take back ALL THE PIZZAS. I called the manager back and asked for my money to be returned, she offered CREDIT for both pizzas and for me to call when I'm ready to order. Well, I called today and there was NO CREDIT, not even a "Bat Sign" that there was a complaint that day. Barros stole money from me!! I've been a faithful customer since they moved to this location. Being born & raised in Chicago, this was the closest to home that I could get. Due to the way things are now a days dining in the store just isn't a fun or safe anymore. But I love to get barros take out for family night. My favorite is the original crust. Nobody else has crust like barros, and their wings are fantastic. Ask for your wings triple dunked and they'll be perfectly crispy. Sometimes if you get the double dunked it's not as good so if you tell them triple dunked they come out perfect it just depends if you like your wings extra dunked. Love this place! read more

Ordered a X-large pepperoni pizza here just on friday so thats just 3 days ago. They said it would come in 45-55 mins which I thought was a little to long cause it would only be like a 10-13 mins ride. Even though the location is Litchfield Park its in an area where this store location is closer than the other one. Well the pizza came out hot and warm so no complaints on that. My boyfriends little sister loved it and we are regulars here. I love their cinnamon sticks with tons of frosting. I am extremely disappointed to say the least. I just left Barro's pizza. The restaurant was not very busy, and yet I had a terrible experience with both the food and the customer service. As I was eating a bug that I have never seen before crawled out of my pizza. My initial reaction was disgust but I wanted to handle the situation respectfully! I walked up to the counter when no customers were around and politely told them what I had found and showed them the bug. The lady did not apologize or show any concern. She had no intention of compensating me or even just apologizing for the situation. The only thing she said was "which booth were you at". She never came over or did anything further. And it was not because they were busy, they had no customers waiting. I left the restaurant feeling disgusted and frustrated with the establishment. I'll take my money elsewhere. I am not clicking on any stars because this location is the worst Barros that I have ever been too. The service was lousy and the excuses were terrible. One was one of our ovens broke which was not true. The manager they have is a lazy millennial little boy who was too scared to come out and speak with us. Our receipt upon order at 5:06 PM said ready by 5:26 PM but at 5:48PM still hadn't received any pizza. When asked sorry specialty pizzas take longer. A basic cheese pizza took almost an hour. Meanwhile others ordered before us had there food and eaten it. Then after complaining 2 more times it finally came and still manager still would not come out. So it's been years since we've had a Barros pizza, even though I see it every time I pull off the 10. So I decided to grab a pizza to go on National Pizza Day. It was great and substantial! Four topping large and out the door under $18. This is far less than the local pizza place we patronize in our neighborhood, and tastier. This will be our go to joint!
