I drive 20 mins for this place because it's just that good! As a pizza enthusiast, when I say I want pizza.. I mean I want GOOD pizza!! This is my spot every time. I enjoy getting a large cheese pizza with their motz sticks. The sticks are crunchy and pair wonderfully well with their delicious marinara sauce. The pizza itself is amazingly done with astonishing flavors from the cheese and sauce. Pizza sizes start at a large and it's enough to feed two people with some leftovers. They're always quick with answering the phones and wait times usually start at 20 mins! The shop itself is located in the same lot as Fry's and there's plenty of parking. It's roomy inside if you ever want to dine in. Wish there was one closer to me but I'll drive anytime for now! read more

Pizza and wing deal is awesome! $32 for X-Large and 25 wings is killer! Wings are good quality but not on the large side. Pizza is soooo good! Lots of cheese!!! Only complaint is the ranch ! Too thick :( I thought it was blue cheese and they messed up our order ! read more

I don't typically do reviews but I just had to for this one. I ordered the #3 which comes with a slice of pizza , 6 wings & a drink I ordered buffalo wings. Worst wings I've had. Extremely greasy and barely any flavor. The pizza also had no flavor which is weird to say for pizza.. they also add mayo to the ranch which makes it super thick and clumpy and doesn't taste like ranch at all ...gave the food to my dog.. don't waste your money here... they need to improve the food & service... Great pizza, good wings! It's a Friday thing for our household grab some pizza and wings to take home, unless kids want something else. Pizza is not good, hardly any cheese and sauce. Dough is not crispy. Garlic bread has almost no garlic but does have quality bread. Decent salads. Spaghetti noodles were decent but meatballs were not that good and sauce was watery and not good at all. Do not recommend this place at all. Prices are fair. read more

Best pizza in the West Valley! The wings are awesome too- prices are excellent. I am from NY and would say this establishment serves pizza that's as good as my home state. The best part is that this is a family owned business and they get to know their customers and really appreciate you. Much better to go here and get great service and excellent food over chain pizza places in the area. If you are in the area check them out- or visit their Surprise location which delivers the same quality. The wife is usually in Avondale and the husband in Surprise... but the pizza and wings hits good either place! read more

First and last time ever ordering from this place. I placed an order via postmates for a 12 piece wing and two slice combo. Only to find out theyre no longer 12pc, it's now 10pc for the same price? I asked for all flats, I guess they don't accommodate? The wings were super dry. It was like chewing jerky, I had to throw half of them away. The pizza was barely warm and seeping oil through the box. The cheese was plastered to the crust. Just an overall bad experience. Save your money and search for another pizza spot. read more

Good spot right around the corner for some good pizza. Tasty sauce and amazing cheese. This is our second time and it was as good as the first time. We usually get an XL with pepperoni and jalapeño and 25 wings( the special) for about 25$ not a bad deal for good pizza. We oder everything well done and it taste so better to hear that crunch especially on the good part of the pizza, the crust. The only bad thing is the ranch as we all love ranch with our pizza me personally I am not a fan of their ranch it comes out like almost thick chunky but again that's just me. The wings could have gotten more sauce to them but they are pretty good. I'll like to try the other things on the menu. Try it out. read more

Always super solid. This is our go-to for lazy night in or tailgating. Pizza and wings special is a fantastic deal and the food is always crowd pleasing. I have tried their salads and sandwiches as well and would recommend EVERYTHING. Salads are super fresh and sandwiches are very large. Run away! Stopped in for lunch and ordered the pizza and wing lunch combo which came with a drink. Customer service was non existent and they were non attentive. It seemed like I was bothering them during their break and they were not friendly at all. I got my food quickly which is why I gave an extra star. You could tell they're using low quality ingredients. I know to not expect anything fancy especially from New York style pizza but expected more than this. The wings were small and cut weird you could tell again they were not quality. Then the sauce they used seemed watered down. They seem to cut corners not only in food quality but in the customer service as well. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere! read more

0 stars this place not only are the people rude and probably not trying to be , but at least smile or be happy you have customers. Now we get the food it's eh okay...but you charge 1.50 for a 12oz refill....haven't paid for refills in 29 years why are they so I did not pay for one but my employee wanted one and was going to pay but then they said oh we will use the card that was just ran ....meaning MYCARD. I didn't approve it and they ran it. What is going on with this place. They have no customers place is empty at 12-1 pm on a weekday lunch. Should have known but I will give the benefit that they are nice people but just need to work on how they look if that's possible and enjoy that they have people coming in. I never write reviews and I will never step foot in a #1 brothers again. read more

Love their pizza ! It's the closest I can get to Bronx NY pizza ! The guys that make the pizza are all so nice and friendly ! The lady there is so sweet and love her accent! This is one of the only pizza places my husband will happily eat in the west valley and he's from Long Island...and super picky. The owner is from Italy and a sweetheart! Was not impressed at all. I ordered a supreme pizza and some wings. The pizza crust was burned on the bottom and slimy on the top. The toppings were underdone. The flavor just wasn't there. The same goes for the wings. They were small and flavorless and their sauce didn't help much. I wish I had not done carry out. I guess my dogs will be eating well today. read more

While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. My dad let me have his birthday free Grimaldi's pizza since they were busy with moving stuff. I drove from my parents far west valley home on the last day they were there for an early dinner on that warm Thursday, January 28, 2021. They had plenty of outside seating, which I opted for. I feel like the inside was closed for dine-in because of Covid, but I was also trying to be cautious as I didn't want to catch Covid while driving my parents across the US. Thankfully, it was a beautiful Sunny & 75 F with calm winds. On that note, on that Sunday 4 days earlier when I left DC, I ate outside before getting to DCA airport (even I think having the option to eat inside) with a cold 38 F high, but I was being super careful before my trip. The server was friendly & efficient. I got a pizza with sausage. It was a thin NY style pizza, which was delicious, although I stopped eating pork later in 2021. But there are a wide variety of toppings, and I would have found something else good that would've worked. Additionally, I opted to buy dessert to be nice; some Oreo cake, which was solid. But the real highlight is their delicious pizza.

I arrived before my family, and almost immediately after sitting down, the server greeted me by asking, "Did they tell you it's going to be 45 minutes for a pizza?" Apparently, the oven was still not ready. I explained that I had specifically moved our reservation to 4:15 because I was told the oven would be available then. Had I been told there was a possibility of another 45-minute wait, I simply would have made a reservation somewhere else. I appreciated the server being upfront about the wait once I arrived, but this should have been communicated when I made the reservation. I was also disappointed with how the situation was handled. Being immediately greeted with a warning about a 45-minute wait, rather than an acknowledgment or apology for the miscommunication, was not a great way to start the experience. I was surprised there did not appear to be a manager available to address the situation or offer any kind of accommodation. We ultimately left and found another nearby restaurant that was able to accommodate our family before our event. I used to enjoy coming to this location, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, after the poor communication and lack of customer service, I don't see myself returning.

I ordered my usual dinner platter, but: * The lamb came out plain with no onions or bell peppers, even though the menu photo shows both. * The baba ghanoush was missing the pomegranate seeds. * The hummus was much less seasoned than before. * My salad arrived covered in feta cheese despite my dairy allergy. * My grape leaves appetizer never came until I reminded them. * I never received the pita bread that normally comes with the meal and had to ask. * Halfway through dinner they remembered I had ordered saffron rice for the table. It felt like our table kept being forgotten all evening. Food Allergy I have a life-threatening dairy allergy, and I mentioned it multiple times while ordering because previous visits had always been handled so carefully. As we were leaving, my throat began swelling and my ears plugged up. I immediately asked if anything I had eaten contained dairy, including the pita bread. Our waiter went to ask the kitchen. The cook appeared visibly irritated about being questioned, retrieved the pita packaging, and read the ingredients aloud. The second ingredient was whey. By then I had already eaten about half the pita. I had to sit down by the register and use my EpiPen before I could leave. Our Waiter I want to give credit where it's due. Our waiter seemed genuinely concerned and apologized once he realized what had happened. He told me I wouldn't have to pay for my meal. I chose to pay anyway because I didn't feel this was his fault. My frustration is with the kitchen and management, not with him. Other Issues My friends were told their meals included one side, including Greek fries, but were later charged a $4 upcharge. Another friend paid $8 for only two pieces of baklava. When she politely questioned it, the employee became dismissive and insisted only the assorted version came with a full container. After we left, we checked the restaurant's own menu, which lists the assorted baklava for $7.95 for the full container, making the explanation even more confusing. Final Thoughts I brought three friends because I wanted to share one of my favorite restaurants with them. Instead, they watched me have an allergic reaction serious enough to require my EpiPen in the parking lot. I've always spoken highly of Zeta's Grill, which makes this even harder to write. I sincerely hope management reviews their allergy procedures. A food allergy isn't a preference--it can become a life-threatening emergency in minutes.

Food was horrible, just basic manners was non-existent. A co-worker and I decided to stop here for lunch. When we went to order our food we were met with a bitter and very unpleasant old lady that was staring at my coworker and I as if we were second-class citizens. I thought it was odd, but I look past it because not everybody is friendly. My co-worker and I sat down and got our food, like everybody else is complaint, the wings were soggy and the pizza was bland. Bland. We finished our food and we were the only people dining in during lunch time. We reminding our own business and playing a game on our phones against each other. We aren't young kids, however we had 20 minutes still left on our lunch break and were dining in the store like we had planned. The same old lady kept asking. Did we want to order more food and was implying that she wanted us out of the store. I would understand if we were a bunch of skaters and young kids, but we were too grown men sitting down minding our own business. I'm surprised this place is still in business. Literally never had a worse piece of pizza in my life. Pizza was pre-made and thrown in a microwave when I ordered it. Pizza was so thin and flat and the crust was so hard and stale that I could slam it against the table without it breaking. The old lady was very rude and was on the phone the entire time I tried to order. It took them forever to reheat the pizza (probably why the crust was so hard!) that I drank my drink already. When I tried to get a refill she informed me it would cost a dollar. No one was in there and that's when I should've known it would be a terrible experience. I seriously contemplated throwing it all away and wasting my money and grabbing food elsewhere. Wish I could give it zero stars!!! read more

I recently visited 1 Brothers Pizza with a friend, and it was an amazing experience! We ordered a half cheese, half Hawaiian pizza along with some cheese bread, and everything was absolutely delicious and made fresh. The customer service was also top-notch; the staff were incredibly nice and made us feel very welcome. Overall, I'd give this place a solid 10/10. Highly recommend! read more
