Longer wait for pickup but the pizza and wings for the holiday party were good. Cute holiday decorations.

Great pizza and chicken wing venue with laid back ambiance. The ordering takes place at the desk. My order took somewhat longer to prepare even it was merely a plate of 12 pieces of boneless, compared to the rest of the group having pizzas and chicken wings well before mine arrived, but the taste was quite ok. Friendly service and decent prices.

We door dashed, and the amount of food was fantastic. We got everything fresh and hot... and the service was fast. We haven't gotten to physically go there but the food is great!

Very good service. Great pizza. In commercial plaza not far from Tempe Public Library. Has parking area. Has booths to eat and enjoy indoors. Very good quality pizza. Enjoyed my order - cheese pizza deep dish, with Pepsi.

The pizza was just as I always have it. The pizza had a nice amount of cheese on it and the sausage was dispersed over the top. There wasn't too much sausage and there wasn't too little sausage. The sausage was spread pretty evenly. The pizza wasn't too salty and it definitely didn't taste sweet, which was good. My family likes pizza crust that is soft and puffy. I usually like pizza crust that is crispy on the bottom, but soft on the inside. They also like a lot of sauce. I prefer mine to not have that much tomato sauce. The sauce also tastes more marinated. I think it has a lot of herbs and spices in it. I prefer my sauce to be a bit more plain. For the most part, I usually prefer pestos. Sometimes the tomato sauce for the pizza can be really good if it is more basic. It seems like everybody in the valley likes the barro pizza and has grown up eating it especially in the East Valley. The pizza shop seems to be pretty well known among people who have lived in Arizona for a while, especially in the areas where, there are some barros located. The service was quick and fast.

Went here and got the $8.75 lunch special for 3 slices of pizza and a drink. Just enough for me and my 2 kids. I just got them water. The place wasn't super busy, it was clean, and the server was nice. I love that they have a little play kitchen, tv, and tables/chairs for the little ones. It's a great place for a chill family outing. They also have a couple of arcade games

Do I even have to say more after looking at the photos I posted? So much grease the slices are literally falling apart. There's pools of grease on every slice. I know pizza isn't supposed to be healthy but wow - this is ridiculous. Probably won't return, which is upsetting because Barros is usually good but this was a disappointment.

Wings were good. Lemon pepper dry rub good. Teriyaki Wings really good. Wet parm Wings not so great. Pizza, sauce was too sweet and too much sauce.

This place has been going down hill fast. The service is terrible today 8/13/2023. The young man working sighed at me the second I walked to the counter. When I got my order he handed to me without a word. On top of that when I got home the order was wrong. This location needs help. Was a regular, won't be from here on out.

I have so many memories of going to Barro's Pizza growing up. We have eaten here many times after little league games. It is such a fun family environment. The first of many locations in Arizona opened in 1980. This location is located on Baseline Rd in Tempe. Barro's makes pizzas using recipes handed down from Grandma Barro. We love coming here and getting a pizza and some wings. They make a nice thick and flakey crust. Barro's is also known for their work in the community. I always enjoy seeing photos on the wall of local sports teams. Service was a little slow for us, but the hot food made up for it.

Barro's Pizza is constantly good and, an Arizona favorite. Delivery is fast and the prices are under market for value.

Price and quality did not match…read more I ordered the pastrami sandwich and immediately noticed some cost cutting choices, like butter flavored spray (can we use real butter) US Foods/Chef's Store sourdough bread, (can we use real sourdough bread) and a microwave sitting next to the griddle (which the griddle looks like it has not been cleaned very often). I didn't think much of it at first, but then I watched the owner heat the pastrami in the microwave before assembling the sandwich. I've never had a deli sandwich prepared that way right in front of me, and it was disappointing. She also pulled out a large bag of Taylor Farms shredded lettuce. I asked for no lettuce, and she joked that "people don't want lettuce anymore." Given the recent news surrounding Taylor Farms, that comment didn't exactly inspire confidence. What really surprised me was that the pastrami was placed in a plastic basket and microwaved. Whether or not it's considered safe, seeing food heated that way wasn't very appetizing. Looking around, there also didn't appear to be any real kitchen equipment for preparing hot sandwiches beyond a microwave. A Blackstone griddle or even a quality countertop oven would have inspired much more confidence in the food, especially considering the owner's Yelp responses emphasizing the quality of their sandwiches. From what I experienced, the preparation didn't match those claims. In the end, we ordered just one pastrami sandwich and one beer, and the total came to about $25, with the sandwich alone costing over $17. For that price, I expected much better ingredients and preparation. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match the cost. We tried to be as nice as possible but we left feeling pretty disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there.

I see a lot of uncles, aunts, grandmas and grandpas hanging out on the patio, especially on weekends! It's adorable!! The first time I went on a weekend and the patio was full and bussin'!! Today I stopped by after work and the patio wasn't as full, but there was a good size group gathered outside. The sandwiches here are so damn tasty, and you have to give them credit for making their own bread daily. You can taste the difference and you're never gonna get stale bread here, no sir!! They also offer a wide variety of Asian goods such as Vietnamese coffee you can make at home, spam, pastries, and a variety of chips you can't find in a regular grocery store. The prices for these banh mi sandwiches are very reasonable. One sandwich costs around $9. You can cut it in half and split it into 2 which is a deal! They make mine without jalapeños which is exactly how I like it. They forgot and put some in one of my sandwiches tonight, but no biggie. I just picked them off, lol. The dining room is large, but I have never dined in. I will eventually! The variety is enough for you to stand there a good while and ponder on what you want. My fatty self has ordered 2 sandwiches each time with a drink, and I'll probably keep that going! I also like that they offer smoothies, milk teas and other drinks you can add toppings to. You already know what I got! ;) The employees are always friendly and patient when I have questions. I'm glad I live nearby so if I get a craving, I don't have to drive an hour like I used to have to back home in CA!! I'll be coming here often for sure. The sandwiches are great for lunch ?Just keep them in the fridge)! We'll I guess you know what I'm having tomorrow.. haha!! Go get you some! And give Lee's Sandwiches a whole lotta love!

I had to park behind the building. The line was about 5-7 minutes long. I thought about getting a Bahn mi but have seen recent negative reviews- reviews even that they have failed the health inspection, so I decided against it. I ordered a small banana coffee which came out to ~$7. Although my order number was 10 behind the one that was being called, my drink was ready within a minute or two. I was expecting more of a cold foam but it is straight up banana PUDDING lol. So of course banana pudding on Vietnamese coffee is delicious! It mixed well; no clumps.
