IMHO, Partners is the best of the best, especially in the northern CT, western MA region. Their corned beef hash is housemade and among the top 5 I've ever had (and I've had a lot), prices are reasonable (notwithstanding the recent 50 cent / egg surcharge), and service is excellent, especially considering the crowd that Partners normally draws. On a recent visit, I had the CBH omelet; my friend had the 2-2-2-2. Two each of eggs any style, sausage links, bacon strips, and choice of French toast or pancakes (she opted for the latter). Caitlinn was our server, and checked on us regularly. Even the affable owner helped the waitstaff that day. Open for B and L daily, although weekends they only serve B. Lots of specials. I've come to this place with my friends on many occasions. As teenagers with minimum wage jobs and the price of insurance and gas these days going up this place is the only choice. You can get so much food for such a little price and it tastes amazing! I got the eggs Benedict and a breakfast burger for under 20 dollars including tip, which is nuts considering most lunch time or dinner places cost more than this and you only get ONE MEAL! The food is great, the price is relieving, and the service is welcoming and attentive. The only reason this isn't a 5 star is because it tends to get very noisy in there so it's hard to enjoy the company you're with. This also means it's sometimes a long wait to get seated due to the restaurant being so full. But I guess that's just a testimony to how fantastic this restaurant is! read more

The most scrumptious breakfast around. I've never made it past their breakfast menu so I can't speak on their lunch. Their breakfast however, is great. I love their eggs benedict and usually go oddball and get it on rye. The service is always quick and for how busy they get someone is always checking on you. Lots of seating and even bar seating. Met up with a cast member here from the Jack Jonah movie for a late breakfast and didn't even realize this was the place was in the movie, and we sat in the booth Dean Caine sat at which was pretty cool too. Anyways food was delicious. I had three eggs scrambled with american cheese, sausage patties, home fries and homemade biscuits. The biscuits are to die for! Throw some butter on them and you will in your happy place. They have done a great job maintaining a covid free establishment sanitizing after each customer, keeping people spaced apart, and having glass separating the booths. I really like how the tables are not smooshed together so they can squeeze in as many people as possible. They were generously spread out so you couldn't hear the conversation at the table next to you! A wheelchair could definitely fit in this restaurant; there is a ramp at the entrance as well. Wait staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were in and out in maybe 30 minutes. We were greeted by our server almost immediately once we sat down and she checked on us often. When we were finished eating, another waitress came to take away our dishes which was kind of her. Check came soon after. There was barely any waiting, they really are on top of things there! We didn't feel rushed either, so it was just perfect timing. The restaurant looks like it has been recently renovated. It's really cute and rustic inside! I have been going to Partners for years with never a problem and decided to go today for a sandwich/ lunch around 1:15pm. The restaurant was mostly half full with a lot of open seating. The "hostess" that greeted me said that I could either sit at an open table in the middle of the room or at one of the uncomfortable stools at the counter which I did not want either. I told her I would like a booth or a side table because so many of them were empty but she refused only offering the two options above---the place was slow! I promptly declined and left. This is my first bad experience with Partners and it will be my last...I won't be back. For a waitress to dictate where and where you cannot sit in a slow restaurant is ridiculous. Partners has become our Sunday brunch over the past year! Whether dining in or taking out, the food is always wonderful! Yes, they get VERY busy. Yes, sometimes you'll wait longer than quoted. No, they do not take reservations. There's only so much the staff can do. Sure, it's common courtesy to not take forever on busy days, but not everyone has this. So yes, you'll be on a wait, plan ahead. Anyway, as far as the food goes; I always get the corned beef hash, whether it's on eggs Benedict, on a sandwich or with two eggs - always the corned beef hash! It's one of the best I've had in the area. The home fries seem to have gotten better throughout this pandemic, they're super yummy and worth it! I wasn't a huge fan of the house made OJ, tasted a bit like Mango to me, but it's no big deal. To each their own. Wife gets a make your own omelette full of veggies, literally every time. She absolutely loves it and the portion is pretty generous. Service: the girls at the host stand are a little blunt, not a lot of hospitality. Can't blame them though, they're always in the go. I stopped to eat breakfast at Partners on my way to Six Flags, New England, which is only a few minutes' drive from there. I was seated right away even though they were very busy. It was my birthday and so I got a coffee and Bailey's as a treat. Very good! I usually go for the sweet stuff, since I never eat GF pancakes or waffles at home, but the Mexican omelet just looked too good. My server was Haille and she noticed me looking at birthday wishes on Facebook and wished me a happy one, which I thought was so nice. The omelet came with GF toast, which was delicious and a treat I only have when away. The omelet was jam-packed. It was filled with taco beef, jalapenos, onions, green peppers pepper jack cheese. Salsa & sour cream came on the side. I couldn't eat it all; the portion is well worth your money. I've ordered omelets at other places that were very bland. This one was so delicious. Seasoned very well, nice and spicy. The only downside was Fox news on the tv...LOL! They had maps on the walls and all kinds of homey knickknacks hanging everywhere. This place is the little gem you find with food and service that chains like Denny's or IHOP can't compete with. The bathroom was very clean. And even though I was dining alone, they didn't try to stick me at the bar. They get points for that.
