Not a shabby place to get your Gyro fix! I didn't get a pic of it, but my brother ordered one and it was so large, he could hardly finish eating it. My mom and I shared the open faced lamb kebab plate and we still had leftovers! I also ordered a slice of pizza for us to all taste because I saw other people eating pizza and saying it was really good. Maybe it's because I ordered one that was just cheese but I wouldn't order their pizza again. yes it was really cheesey but the quality of the cheese didn't taste really good, and also the bottom was super floppy, it wasn't enjoyable to eat at all. The other food though was great and reasonably priced. Service was great, the people working there were really friendly. Northampton has so many great dining choices, I'd keep this one on my list for sure. read more

Loved this restaurant! Great food, great service. We ordered the Dolmadakia appetizer, the Soutzoukakia - Greek meatballs in tomato sauce and the gyro wrap. The portions are huge, but more importantly, delicious. The dessert case looked fantastic, but we had our dinner leftovers packaged up and had exactly zero room for dessert. The customer service here is TERRIBLE. I waited for over 30 minutes for my food as everyone around me (who ordered after me) received their orders. When I asked for a complimentary fry order as we waited, the guy behind the counter told me we hadn't ordered fries, which was obvious. We asked because we were so hungry. The guy behind the counter was so dismissive and said "we're busy, so, what do you want me to do?" This makes no sense given that people who ordered after us were eating as we still waited for our food. We went to Pita Pockets instead, which has way better service. I will never step foot in this place again and will tell everyone who asks about this negative experience. I can't prove this, but we were the only women of color in the restaurant...it felt like we weren't welcome or taken seriously because of that. The food looked good, but I will never give people who treat me so poorly my money. read more

This is a hidden gem in Northampton. The place is right across from the Music Academy Theatre and a place to go eat! I had a simple gyros wrap but it was packed! I recommend getting everything on it! I wanted to make it a meal, but I'm glad I didn't it was so much food on its own! My DH had the grilled shrimp and also had SO much food! His came with a side salad pita bread and then the entree! We had to get the baklava but saved it for a little later. It did no disappoint! I kinda wish I got more than one of those! read more

As far as Greek places go, this place is solid, but not one to write home to Yiayia about. I had the kebab souvlaki platter, dolmades and Spanakopita. The dishes were well-portioned and had ok flavor. The spanakopita filo wasn't very flaky and the kebab was a bit overcooked and dry. Service was very friendly. While I wouldn't go out of my way to return, if I happened to be in the area and wanted Greek food, this would be my first choice. Service was very friendly. They clean your tables for you, so it's not a "served at your table" restaurant. You get your food at the counter and find a table. We were there for lunch. Maybe it changes at dinner, not sure. I had a gyro wrap, first time I've had one with fries in it & it was tasty. She had the gyro meet over fries which was also very good. The only criticism is their prices are on the high side. Although the ambience of this little place isn't fabulous, the decor is unique, and I love that they can open the doors, and the outside comes inside easily. We love their gyro - lamb and falafel both, but definitely ask for extra lettuce, tomato, and onion. My wife is wild for their kimchi fries and orders them every time we go these days. The salads are good and so is the pizza. Give it a try. read more

I'll start with the positives: the interior is sunny and pretty, and the service was very friendly. And a family at a nearby table ordered a pizza which looked pretty good. But my Mediterranean wrap with falafel was sad. The falafel patties were borderline inedible and dry, and there was hardly any tzadiki sauce to help. And the vegies were primarily salad greens. Flour falafels! Really bad. Not a great venue for Greek food. Good was burnt, humus was old...

The food is delicious. It is a shame that the ambiance doesn't do the food justice. There is a TV which is blaring back near the pizza oven. You can hear it throughout the restaurant and it cheapens the entire atmosphere and is extremely unpleasant. They did a nice job on the interior renovation and it would otherwise be OK to sit in. Please get rid of the TV. It serves no purpose other than to entertain the cook, since it's tucked all the way in the back. Your food is so good. This could really be such a nice place to eat. read more

I got the falafel wrap which was a generous amount of filling: 4 to 5 flat falafel, actually red tomatoes slices (in winter), sliced cucumbers, romaine, tzatziki and a few julienne red onions. My husband got a slice of buffalo chicken and a slice of meat lovers. It was more than enough for a lunch. I like how the crust is crispy. The owner and his staff are wonderful people. The menu is a great mix of traditional Greek food and creative options which choices for a range of budgets. Seriously, how do you argue against gyro pizza that has French fries on the freaking pizza along with gyro meat, feta, onion, tomato and tzatziki? It's delicious. Get yourself some. This weekend I was in the area and made a detour to stop here and get those fries again. Omg - just order them. People walking in saw our food and asked what we ordered - and then ordered the same thing. Seriously- Get.these.fries. They also have pizza slices. I was planning to ignore the pizza and just dive into the Greek food but I I took a look at the options just incase. The gyro pizza looked crazy so I ordered it. I called for delivery order pizza, she said 55 minutes 1:10 passed, I called, they put me on hold, and after 5 minutes, I received a busy signal. It is the second time I have ordered food from this place. The first time the food was too cold, I had to call to bring another one. We ordered a pizza, salad, cabbage, and a few other items (I can't remember:( ) everything was delicious and well made. The food came out pretty fast. They also had a special where you get a free small pizza with a large pizza purchase.. Parking can be a little tricky as it is located on the Main street in a shopping center that has high traffic. Was recommended Filos by a friend. I'm new to the area and was willing to try anything, especially a greek place in NorthHampton! Filos is located on the main street in NorthHampton, which honestly is such a great location. Parking is always a little tricky on the main road, but I came on a Wednesday so it was easy to find a spot. I walked into the cute restaurant that made me feel like I was transported to the Mediterranean. You have to walk up to the counter to order and you're allowed to sit anywhere. I got the falafel wrap with the baklava. OMG it was beyond delicious. My friends got the lamb dishes and they said the meat was tender and fresh. So happy this place was recommended to me.
