We were told there might be more flexibility with EV inventory and were encouraged to keep going "just to see what could be done." That turned into over two hours of wasted time, back-and-forth, and false hope. During that time, our vehicle was photographed, information was gathered, and we were led to believe there was a real possibility of making something work. In the end, nothing was accomplished except an unnecessary hard credit inquiry and a very frustrating experience. The issue is not simply that a deal did not happen. The issue is that we were clear about our circumstances, our timing, and our limitations, yet were still steered deeper into a process that should have been stopped much earlier. If our situation was not realistic, that should have been said upfront instead of keeping us there and dragging it out. This experience felt misleading, time-wasting, and unprofessional. It also ruined what was supposed to be my husband's birthday because we lost hours to a process that went nowhere. My advice to anyone considering this dealership: be extremely careful. Do not let polite talk or vague promises pull you into a full credit process unless you are ready to buy immediately and have real numbers in front of you.
