After reviewing so many positive yelp reviews and learning of Bangin Bacon, I knew I had to take my husband here for brunch on his birthday while vacationing in the area. Our server, Tracy, was friendly and helpful with suggestions. We opted for the aforementioned Bangin Bacon, Frank's Favorite Sandwich with hash browns, and the Shrimp & Grits. The bacon was as tasty as you'd imagine (could've perhaps been cooked a couple more minutes for crispiness and char for our taste), the sandwich was yummy with hash browns prepared crispy as requested, and the shrimp and grits were decadently delicious with nice presentation. We took Tracy's suggestion to have the shrimp prepared blackened and that definitely elevated the flavor profile and helped to cut a bit of the maple butter syrup richness. I chose the Prickly Pear Mimosa from the list of available varieties of mimosas and it was tasty. If we're in the area again, we'll likely return to try different menu items as there were so many that sounded interesting! read more

We had a wonderful breakfast at Barunch today and would definitely return. The food was excellent across the board, and the service was attentive and professional. My advocado toast with smoked salmon, was fresh and flavorful and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict and he was very happy with it. We both ordered cappuccino's, mine with vanilla. Although they have a great selection of fun mixed drinks and spiked coffees. Which I have to try next time. Everything came out hot and well presented. Our server was excellent, efficient, friendly and checked on us at the right times. The only small thing is she never introduced herself by name, which is something we personally look for when deciding on ratings and tips. It's a minor detail, but one that makes the experience feel a bit more personal. The restaurant itself is nicely sized with a pleasant layout, though it is quite dimly lit inside, which might not suit everyone. Overall, the positives far outweigh that minor detail. Just a few blocks from the Farmers Market (only on Saturdays), you'll find BARunch. Nestled in a strip of businesses along a main street, you'll find plenty of parking out back, which is actually where the main entrance to BARunch is. There's ample seating inside and about 6-8 tables out front on the side that faces the main road. If you're visiting in the morning, sit outside. There's a small canopy that provides a little shade. Service was absolutely great, with our waitress checking in on us just the right number of times. Known for their mimosas, there's plenty of options to go around. I opted for the blueberry lavender mimosa and my spouse for the original. Both were fantastic and I even became jealous of the table next to us when I found out I could've ordered a flight (!!) of mimosas. That'll definitely happen next time. For my entree I had the Crab Cake Benedict. Wow. Little filling, lots of crab, eggs done perfectly. And there was something about the muffin that I loved. Look, I came here for a peaceful brunch and left questioning every decision I've made--starting with not stealing my wife's strawberry salmon salad. I don't know who decided strawberries and salmon belonged together, but they deserve a Nobel Peace Prize. The salmon was so perfectly cooked it practically wrote me a sonnet. Meanwhile, I sat there with my shrimp and grits like some kind of brunch amateur. Were they good? Sure. My husband and friend decided to order the breakfast shots (I did not partake lol!) and again, all very unique!! My husband also ordered their spicy blood mary and he really enjoyed it! For food, my friend's boyfriend recommended the Frank's Favorite Sandwich, and I'm glad I went with that choice! Went on a Saturday and had a 35min wait which I expected I mean it's the weekend! Found an amazing shop next door that filled the time perfectly! The mimosa variety is amazing and the flight a good deal to sample a few. The food plentiful and delicious. Have you ever been on a first date that went from bad to worse, but even through the awkwardness, you felt a spark and were willing to give it a second chance? This was our experience with Barunch. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon a little before noon. The place was lively and on a small wait. We checked in with the hostess, who told us it would be about 15-minutes, and gave her our phone number. We were happy to wait and used our time to check out the cool recycled art shop next store. We browsed for 10 minutes and then made our way back outside to the waiting area. After 30 minutes, we were still waiting and decided to order drinks, which were great! Another 15 minutes went by and we started getting suspicious. I checked back in with the hostess to learn we weren't on the list anymore. At that point, I was hungry and cranky and wanted to leave, but my husband talked to the manager and they sat us down immediately. The staff was very apologetic and the owner offered us a discount on our check. We ordered the bacon appetizer (delicious!), the B-E-L-T (average), truffle French fries (amazing!), and the traditional eggs Benedict. They ran out of ham for the Benedict so we opted for bacon. Sadly, we didn't get to eat the Benedict because the poached eggs were raw. At that point, we were ready to call it a day, but I did sneak a taste of the hollandaise sauce and it was top-tier. Even though our experience wasn't great, the food we did get to eat was good, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We also appreciated the way the owner handled himself. This is a new restaurant with unbelievable potential. We're going to give them a few months to work out some of the kinks and then try it again. We found this location on google while on a hunt for Bloody Mary's. Well, they certainly did not disappoint! They even had a build your own Bloody Mary menu. It's a new place in the area, the decor and ambiance is really nice. We only had to wait about five minutes for a table. Our server, Daniella, was absolutely amazing. Went today for brunch and received worst food service in my life. When ordering I distinctly asked for my hollandaise sauce on the side. When the food came out my food was covered in the sauce, I politely brought up to my waitress that I asked for it on the side. Instead of fixing the mistake the waitress tells me to "Just try it and take a bite first" and urges me multiple times to just eat it. Of the sauce I know I do not like on the food. I take a bite fully going for it and gag and have to spit out the taste I do not like. Then, she finally gets me a new plate served correctly. Lastly, she acted very upset towards us after this and tried many times to rush us out of the restraunt 3 hours before close. The waitress is an older tall blonde woman.
