Hide Tide is a charming boutique restaurant right on the water, serving fresh food and delicious drinks. There's something special about dining outside, where you can enjoy the beautiful waterfront views and even catch the fresh scent of the sea as you relax at the table.

We did the call ahead and stopped in for dinner on a rainy evening and they were very busy. I selected the grouper and my wife had the shrimp and grits. The entrees were excellent and prepared perfectly but the standout from the visit were the sides. I selected the Quinoa salad with garbanzo beans onions and balsamic dressing, an excellent summer side with great flavor that I could eat every day and my wife had the tajin corn, simple and flavorful. Overall a great visit and close to the Westin Cape Coral

Love it here at High Tide. Dined on the "porch" looking at the boat dock. We had a pizza special which was delicious and huge! Service was stellar. David was an excellent server; kind, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. High Tide is comfortable with plenty of seating, neat and clean. We will be back to enjoy more of their menu choice.

The view of the Gulf of Mexico while I ate my bloated blackened grouper sandwich and cold craft beer. The outside patio was beautiful but too humid today so sat at the inside bar next to the wrap around windows with a dramatic waterfront view with every bite. A clean bathroom means the owner or manager takes pride in their business and the kitchen most likely would follow the same trend. This bathroom has to be in my top three all time cleanest with contemporary decor (must see pic).

Everything went Well! The service was impeccable, my Mojito was perfection! My Gorgonzola stuffed burger was juicy, flavorful and I ate every bite. Loved it! My friend ordered a Rueben and said it was it delicious. Loved the water, marina view. Will go back and try more dishes, loved everything.

Great views of the marina. However. the bugs were a minor irritation sitting by the edge railing outside. The drinks and entrees were very good. Shrimp and grits were a bit spicy which I enjoyed. Service was a bit slow but overall a good dining experience.

Nice place located in Tarpon Point Marina. The staff was great. Pia took good care of us out on the patio. We had their hummus and 3 pizzas. We really liked the Figs in paradise pie. Parking on site . Seating inside and out on the patio.

Rip Tide drink. Tasted like Pina colada. 15 dollars

I went here after our dolphin cruise tour since it was suggested by our captain. It was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel. When I arrived, I was greeted by the hostess, who sat me in the table inside. I asked for the suggested drink, which was the Rip Tide (15 dollars). It tasted like a Pina colada, which was refreshing. It could have been a bit stronger, but just enough to bop your head to the music. For my main dish, I had to go with the lobster roll (27 dollars), which comes from their sister restaurant, The Lobster Lady. It was an amazing roll with ample amount of lobster in a mayo sauce that had the right amount of seasoning. The lobster was fresh and tasty. I also loved the house made pickles as the side, which had a kick from the chili pepper. Spicy and delicious! For dessert, I tried the limoncello cake (12 dollars), which tasted like a spongy key lime pie. Light, tart, and tasty. The vanilla bean ice cream on the side was great as well. The service was very good, with my server providing great suggestions and constantly checking up on me. The atmosphere is a bit upscale, but still casual enough that you can wear a T-shirt. The patrons are social, but not too loud such that you can hear the music. Outdoor seating is also available, and it has a great view of docks. This was quite an expensive restaurant, but very good quality for being in the Westin resort area. The quality of the food is great and the service is excellent. While my drink could have been a bit stronger, it was still refreshing and tasty. I am so happy this was recommended by the tour boat captain. I would definitely visit here again when staying at The Westin.

My guardian and I shared this pizza and it was so good we had to get a second one. The potatoes were okay though, could have been cooked a little longer. Pleasant waiter, didn't feel neglected. We went in the morning, ambience was quiet and nice. I enjoyed the view of the water. Overall not disappointed and I would come here again. Actually getting gift cards so my aunt and uncle can come here and enjoy as well. :)

The food was excellent! I had the sea bass on top of a lite sauce with veggies in it and my side was pesto red potatoes. My husband had the grilled grouper with mashed potatoes and was very pleased. I loved my pineapple old fashioned and key lime pie for dessert! Aurora , our server was top notch! She checked on us for more drinks, after our first bite and for dessert in a timely manner and with a smile on her face. All our party of 6 received our food together and hot. They take reservations for 6 or more, make them.

Great all around experience! Came for a Tuesday dinner, seated outside with plenty of shade and fans. Our service was perfect- he clearly knew the menu inside and out and everything came out in great time, never felt rushed. The cocktails were AMAZING! I had a pineapple rum drinks that was super unique. Also had the pear and fig pizza- also amazing. Everyone had great drinks, great food, great service. Definitely recommend!

    Sea Cucumber was amazing!!

The sea cucumber drink was amazing, the ambience is amazing, the food is so good. The bartenders were high notch.

Great location. In the Westin marina. They have live music most days. Dog friendly outdoor seating. The best pina coladas I had on vacation! They do get very busy so it can be loud!

Can you see sunset from this location?

In my opinion, I don't believe so. It's set back, tucked away off a main road. With no available outdoor seating.

    Kids menu? menu?

Not that I saw. Keep in mind that Pizza is the center of the menu. So technically…all of the Pizza menu could be considered “kids” as they offer two sizes of pizza.

Are there gluten free options for celiac?

Yes! Many of the dishes can be modified to accommodate celiac. All of their sides are gluten free, and they also offer gluten free pizza crust. Ask your server about your options; there is a list that they can bring over to guide you through your…

It started as a communal drink shared during gatherings, ceremonies, and quiet moments between people who valued connection and calm. At some point that tradition drifted into Western culture, eventually creating the whole "kava café" concept. I honestly don't know when it became a popular thing in Florida, and I'm not sure anyone does. It just feels like one day you started hearing about them, and the next thing you know, these mellow little kava spots were popping up everywhere. What I do know is that my experience at Kava Culture was so unexpectedly good that I found myself saying something I never thought I would. I told them I wished they served Matcha Lattes because if they did, I'd start coming here a lot more often, even though I live a fair bit away. As someone who doesn't do cannabis, CBD, THC, or anything in that world, I walked in with curiosity and walked out feeling pleasantly surprised. The vibe, the calm, the atmosphere, and the way everyone there seemed genuinely relaxed made the whole experience feel refreshing. It didn't feel edgy or strange or outside my comfort zone. It just felt good. Real, grounded, and easy. And honestly, that alone says everything about why this place won me over.

I had visited a different coffee shop the…read moreday before and had such a great experience that I found myself on an unofficial coffee tour that week. From the outside, the place looks really cute and well-decorated. Just a heads-up--it's the second door, not the first one. I accidentally walked into the office before realizing I was in the wrong spot. Thankfully, a friendly gentleman working there opened the correct door for me. Inside, the vibe was calm and welcoming. The space was nicely decorated, with a clean bar setup and people enjoying their drinks and conversations. It looked like they also had some merch in the back, which added to the cozy coffeehouse feel. I was greeted by a bubbly barista who asked if I knew what I wanted. I didn't, so I reached for the menu and immediately felt overwhelmed. There was a lot to take in, and it wasn't very intuitive. Thankfully, the barista was helpful and offered to make me something based on my preferences. I told her I liked my coffee strong and plain--no sweet flavors or extras. She ended up making me an iced coffee with a bit of simple syrup. It was great. The flavor was rich, the coffee was perfectly balanced, and the color told me everything I needed to know. I am not someone who likes a cup of creamer with a splash of coffee, so I was happy with how it turned out. I gave this place four stars. The only reason I didn't give five is the menu setup. It could definitely be more digestible. When I came back that weekend with a guest, they had a hard time figuring out what to order too, which confirmed it wasn't just me. That said, I do plan to return. The space is nice, the staff is friendly, and the coffee was worth the visit. With a few tweaks to the customer ordering experience, this place could easily become a go-to.

It was noticeably quieter, the pool felt cleaner, and there was much less hustle and bustle. The room itself was comfortable and met my expectations. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were just right, and the view was enjoyable. One word of caution: the shower can get pretty slippery, so be careful. The resort offers a complimentary welcome drink, but I wouldn't really call it complimentary since there's a mandatory $35 daily resort fee that covers various amenities, many of which you may not even use. I also don't drink alcohol, so it wasn't much of a perk for me. I did take advantage of the 24-hour fitness center and was pleasantly surprised. There was a good variety of equipment, the treadmills worked well, and they provided complimentary towels, water, and even apples. My only criticism is that the gym could use a more thorough cleaning. One thing to know before booking is that this resort doesn't have a beach. That wasn't a dealbreaker for me because the pool was very nice. My mother and I drove to Sanibel Beach, which was only about 10-15 minutes away. However, parking was difficult to find, it costs $5 per hour, and the mosquitoes were relentless. Unless you're set on visiting the island, I'd recommend relaxing at the resort instead. The elevators worked well, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional. Overall, there wasn't anything particularly spectacular about this resort, but it provided a relaxing and enjoyable Fourth of July getaway for my family. I would recommend it to others. Personally, I probably wouldn't stay here again, although I wouldn't hesitate if it were my only option.
