I have been bringing my Lil Guy here for awhile now. The staff is absolutely amazing and we are always working together to help me with his fears. Sounds, Objects, Guys, etc. With that being said he started participating in Ben's training several months ago. At the beginning he was terrified just to see him and with the patience of Ben and the staff he will now interact with Ben wagging his tail and starting to progress into other training command. Im definitely looking forward to seeing the progress my Lil guy makes. One thing I have noticed over the years is all the effort this facility and staff has provided me has helped me at home and being in public areas with him. They are very irresponsible for notifying dog owners of having a dog with kennel cough, after my dog there on 7/25 for day care. We boarded our from 8/8 till 8/11 when we pick her up she was hacking, coughing, Spitting up white mucus. Nose warm with a lot of green discharge. Took her to the Vet, Spending a few hundred dollars, and also learned from them this is more common then you think from this Camp Bow Wow location. One dog died there in 2023. In the moment where our dog was severely injured, cost was not our concern, we needed our dog to get the care she needed. But because your team seemed to be more worried about who was going to front the vet bill instead of making sure she got the care she required, we did decide to not have you take her to be seen for a number of reasons. 1. We figured that she had been traumatized enough that going to see a vet with unfamiliar people would not put her at ease, and potentially make the situation worse. 2. In between our phone calls - we consulted with a vet on how we should proceed, so please do not make it seem like we did not have appropriate concern for our dog in those moments. 3. Had we been given the FULL details on the amount of attack wounds, we would have handled everything differently. Imagine your dog came home after being attacked with open wounds only to find ANOTHER severe wound that the daycare center knew about, but failed to mention to you as the owner - she was taken to the emergency vet immediately following this finding where we stayed until 3am on the morning 19th. We were out of town for a funeral and got home as quickly as we could to facilitate her care since you did not hold that same concern for her in those moments. Nothing about this situation has been settling and on top of everything Layla is now deathly afraid of getting into the car (something that prior to the attack was her favorite thing to do) and is nervous around other dogs. read more

I love this place and so does my pup! I never have to worry if my pet is being well taken care of or not. I know that she is getting the training, socialization, and playtime she deserves. The staff is incredible. The communication is top notch, they're always very friendly, and you can tell they love your pup as much as you do. I tend to be on the anxious side, however the staff always answers my questions with patience and kindness. Take your pups here, you won't regret it! read more

Our dog loves Camp Bow Wow and we feel confident leaving her there for both daycare and boarding. She is well taken care of, they do fun activities (optional) with the dogs, have cameras you can watch, and our dog always comes home exhausted and happy. I love how they have webcams so we're still able to see our doggies and feel at ease while we're away. DO NOT BOARD HERE! We boarded our 2 dogs there in June and October, and despite being current on all vaccines, they both contracted kennel cough both times. We just boarded both dogs there again (figuring the previous incident was an anomaly) and 1 of my dogs came back with kennel cough... again. My neighbor had her dog there at the same time and her dog got it too. Then we called our vet, who informed us that they've seen 4 other dogs over the last 2 weeks for kennel cough that had also contracted it after boarding at Camp Bow Wow in Henderson. Clearly it appears that they are not disinfecting their facility properly. My beagle puppy LOVES this place...and I do too. I was of course nervous to drop her off. Would she be too high energy? Would she get along with the other dogs? Were the trainers nice? Thankfully all of my concerns were taken care of from the very first day of daycare. The staff is great and truly cares about the dogs. You can watch your puppy on video cameras all day to see if they're having fun, which I love because I can see my puppy making friends, hanging out with the staff, and just having a ball. I'm appalled at the employees lack of integrity and customer service during my dogs last, and I do mean last, stay here. I've brought my dogs here many times before and told several people that I loved this daycare, but after our pick up experience on 12/12/22, we won't be back, unfortunately. Our dogs boarded here for the weekend, and when we picked up, someone who's name is apparently Gia, let our dog (Maple) go loose in the lobby and didn't hand off the leash to us like usual. If it hadn't been for another customer blocking the door, our dog would have ran outside and been gone. When I asked another girl about this incident a few minutes later, she absolutely refused to give me her name or the name of the employee who had brought up our dog. I was not yelling, cursing or doing anything that would provoke an employee to shut down a conversation in this manner. There was no apology, just immediate attitude and refusal to give a name. This girl is apparently named Charisma. (I still do not know if I was given fictitious names). Brooklyn is the employee who came out and gave up names when I asked, so hopefully she was honest. Then Charisma stated that my dog had no leash and that's why she was let loose in the lobby. Her leash was still attached to her in our car, so she had no idea what she was talking about, or blatantly lying. Charisma was incredibly confrontational. I've never been treated this way at a dog daycare, employees are usually pleasant and understanding. They made a huge mistake bringing this girl into their facility-I could forgive Gia's mishap if it were handled professionally after I expressed my concern. I can't bring my dogs somewhere that employees won't apologize or acknowledge they did something wrong, and refuse to tell me who they are. What if it was something more serious next time? Like a medical issue or injury? Can't trust this place. Hopefully management can do some coaching. read more

I have been bringing my dog Kora Rose to Camp Bow Wow Henderson for over 3 years. Kora Rose loves daycare and all of the camp counselors. Recently she was at daycare and I received a text message from Ben. He said Kora was coughing/choking up white foam and he took her out of the play area to observe her. Then I received a somewhat frantic call from him that she was getting worse and he asked if I wanted him to take her to our vet? I said yes please as I was at work and could not leave. He got to our vet which is not close at all to camp and he started sending me pictures of her while he waited with her in his car to go into the office. It made me feel so at ease knowing she was in good hands with Ben and being able to see her. He finally got called to bring her into the office he waited quite awhile until he got an update from the vet that she was stable and then he called me to give me an update. This is why I bring Kora Rose to Camp Bow Wow Henderson!!! Ben took such good care of her and me as he knew how worried I was about her. She is my baby and and the professionalism Ben showed in reacting quickly made me love Camp Bow Wow even more than I already did. My wife and I have been going to this facility for several months and I have observed that several employees of this facility was not properly trained to handle more than 2 dogs at a time. Example: I have a Golden Retriever (male) that another male dog decided to try and mount. Looking through the video cam I could see the employee did nothing to stop it. So, my dog decided to get him off of him buy retaliation. Instead of the dog who started problem being punished, both dogs were punished. That is a very lazy way of handling things. I would of given this place a much better review but this is what happened. We have an 8 month deaf and partially blind Aussie doodle. We are going out of town and needed a place for her to stay. We took her to Camp Bow Wow for her interview. Everything went well and she seemed to like it. We took her again for a few hours to get more acquainted a few days later and she came home with Kennel cough!! She is really sick and we are taking her to the vet today. Not only will we have to pay for a vet visit, we are scrambling to find someone to watch her while we are gone and the pet sitters are all booked because it's so close to us leaving. This place has caused us $$ and a lot of stress. PS. Just left the vet. My pup has pneumonia!! We should have been told that kennel cough was going around at the Camp and we shouldn't leave our puppy there because puppies are more prone to getting pneumonia from kennel cough. I miscalculated the amount of food I brought for them & no one called us until the day after when I specifically said to call me w/ any concerns or questions. KIM, the employee who was "taking care" of them just decided that my dogs weren't going to f*in eat that night. By the time they called, my dogs have not eaten for OVER 24 HRS. What: overnight/day care for doggies. So far we have used CBW 2-3 times for overnight stays and have been really pleased with the service, cleanliness and availability. Really appreciate their Sunday hours which Henderson Pet Resort lacks. Most importantly our 1 year old yellow lab LOVES this place. When we arrive he pulls towards the front door. When we pick him up, we take him to pee out in front before getting in the car and after he pees, he tries to pull back towards the front door to go back in! Wow! I think that says a lot if your dog is obviously happy to be here. Another feature we like above Henderson Pet Resort is that CBW offers unlimited play time. So he's with friends all day! At HPR, I think he only gets out a few times. We also like the number of cameras they have so you can look in on your pet. I think there's like 8-10. Update my dog is still coughing, choking after spending 3 days at Camp Bow Wow. He has been on 3 Different medications and is still sick. For the record I never received any communications from this facility regarding kennel cough. I NEVER received any email about kennel cough as the owner claims. Nothing went to my spam box etc. The claim that notifications were sent is simply untrue. Again we found out from a tiny sign on the counter when we picked our dog up and by then it was too late.
