Some of this feedback is time sensitive due to COVID: The…read moretoughest thing about doing a class here are the masks. It's hard to hear/understand what the instructor is saying because of the masks. Additionally, because of the masks, it is hard to focus on listening. My neighbor suggested I go at a time when you had to wear masks in the gym but not during the workout. This changed when I went to my class and masks were/are being required during the workout. Towards the end of the class, Courtney, the instructor was on her phone for a few minutes and seemed distracted. The instructor spoke very quickly during the class and it was hard to keep up because the orientation to how everything worked seemed more sales focus than making sure I knew what was happening. They have you fill out a prying questionnaire before the class about "How much money are you willing to spend on your goal?" and other intrusive questions. After the class, I let them know that I wouldn't be interested in signing up for anything while masks are required. It's too distracting for me. During the class, they did imply that being distracted by the masks was an excuse. I asked to be removed from future communication twice already. I just received another pushy text this morning. I'm concerned these people do not have any boundaries. I understand the nature of businesses and sales cycles, but, it seems overpriced and they don't listen.

I find flexibility and strong cardio make me a better "intimate" partner. I think more people should keep this in mind... The class was about forty five minutes and started slowly then moved on to more rigorous routines. It's a very friendly and supportive environment that I really enjoyed. You can stop or slow down anytime you need to. The instructor, a very fit woman, was encouraging but never condescending or aggressive. I left sweating and tired. It was a really good way to start the day. I don't know the cost as my girlfriend either paid for me or used a guest pass of some kind. I will write an update after I attend again soon that will encompass prices, etc.

I ended up texting that phone line and someone texted back that I could come to a free class. I showed up at the agreed upon time, but the instructor hadn't known to expect me. He said few words to me while I signed a liability waiver. I explained that I'd had surgery to reattach my biceps 8 months ago, so I wanted to be careful with that arm. He shrugged and said, "You'll be alright." As the class got going, I didn't know what was going on or what station to go to. He put us in two groups but there were lots of stations all around, so I just floated aimlessly, trying to do the exercises. After class, I walked over to ask him about membership since I still didn't know costs. He ushered me out the door saying, "Get some rest!" So that was that. No follow up. Ummm, okay.

Great workout!!! The…read moreidea of Spenga is starting with 20 mins of spin with great music, 20 mins of strength/HIIT and 20 mins of cool down, flow yoga. You can sign up for your first class for free! I highly recommend this route, each person is different so maybe you like it or maybe you don't. But trust me... you will like it :) I personally haven't done spin classes before coming here, but that was pretty easy to pick up after a class or two. (So try not to worry about it!) Previously, I've done yoga as a main work out but you do not need to have ANY experience, the instructor is the in front of the class and walks you through the moves. I feel that it's important you stretch after working out and this helps you stretch and cool down after an intense workout! What is great us every day of Spenga is different. What that means is the spin class is different (i.e. sometimes slower rpms or sometimes faster and stand-up climbing). The HIIT training might focus on lower body one day and upper the next, or even using different equipment like TRX or only weights. Gosh, I never have done the same workout coming here! They post on their Instagram stories what each day is going to focus on in the HIIT/strength portion so you can decide each week when you want to come in. All of the instructors at the Littleton location I've had are great!!! Since there are so many new members joining, they try to ensure to walk you through what you need to do to hit your "sweet spot" during the spin cycle portion. The support staff who help get you signed up, have keep everything sanitized after each class and answer all of your questions are amazing!! There is a specific app for Spenga and scheduling classes that you can use after you sign up. It also shows your spin stats and how you're progressing. Also, there are showers you can use after your workout. The parking is free and there plenty of it since the location is in a shopping area.

Although the 45 minute classes aren't exactly easy, sometimes I just want that extended time and extra challenge. Filtered water, lockers, and parking are all free. They do charge for shoe rental, so I would recommend investing in your own cycling shoes if you attend regularly.

Looks can be deceiving but this Cycle Bar storefront and nearby Mad Greens are also brand new. Clothes and athletic apparel right when you enter. Check in for your class via iPad. Grab your shoes. Around the corner you have lockers to change clothes and store items. Jacket hooks. USB charging port! All new new stuff. Nice to store your things where you feel it's clean and secure. Two unisex bathrooms. Two rooms to shower also. Towels. Hair dryers. Deodorant. Anything you'd need to shower off and get back to work if you come mid day. They also have a small bar with water chilled and room temp. Bananas. Snacks. Water bottles. Depending on your class even mimosas, orange juice, and small bites. The cycle room or studio contains three rows of bikes in a stadium seating type setup. Music jamming. Televisions show music videos as well as your class statistics. Each class has a theme of sorts depending on the day of the week and tour instructor. We've jumped around a bit but already prefer some instructors to others. Just a vibe and tone they set early. Otherwise it's a blast!
