Wow! AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! The owner treats us like family. Some times we come after church on sunday evenings, around 8:30-9, and he doesn't mind making food for us and treating us amazing. Sometimes we stay past 10 and he's more than happy to let us stay and enjoy our late dinner. Food wise: Amazing food cooked on charcoal , giving it an amazing taste. Much better than a gas grill. Hummus is great and so is the garlic. Always leave without finishing all my food because they always give you more than u ask for. You definitely get a bang for your buck here. Don't order from this place!! Beware! You place an order and they tell you how long it needs and it ends up needing two hours longer than what they say. And then when you call to figure out what's going on with your food because you have your son there waiting for the food they just hang up the phone and then they stop answering the phone after that. They said the food needs one hour it ended up needing 2 1/2 hours while my son waited an hour and a half there because they would not give him a time for when the food would be done. Very unprofessional place and I wouldn't be surprised if this place closes soon. I hope these people end up going out of business if this is how you guys are treating your paying customers, so unprofessional. we will never ever be returning customers even tho this is the very first time ordering from this place it will be the last. This place is run by workers who honestly don't care about customer service. What makes this even worse is there was another man waiting for his food as well and I think he has been waiting for about three hours and they keep giving him the runaround as well. Yellow rice, salad w/dressing on side Added two skewers of tawook, 6 piece falafel with tahini ,small spicy potatoes,....Well, the chicken had decent flavor but the white meat on both the whole chicken and the tawook was super dry . They didn't put our dressing or tahini in at all . Didn't eat the salad because of that. The falafel was overcooked and no tahini to dip it in. I'm glad that something that I can look forward to you coming back again and again. So it's sweet to know that someone took over the place that was failing and now it's back open with a new name but with new owners. One of the people at our table didn't get his food until we finished ours. It took 42 minutes for a chicken wrap. While sitting at our table we could see into the kitchen and observe a lack of food safety. The gentleman at the grill placed raw chicken down onto the grill and then sprinkled parsley onto a plate of rice WITH the same gloves on. That's how you get people sick. Only good part of this restaurant were the waitstaff. They were attentive and apologized for the kitchen when food was not brought out.
