Sky Crepe Cafe has a very ambitious, eclectic menu, with everything from crepes to sandwiches to full entrees to sushi to boba tea to bubble waffles and more. I have only tried the crepes, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu but the crepes are well executed. On a recent visit, I tried the Sky Crepe Signature Chicken Crepe which had a house made curry sauce with chicken and mushrooms. The sauce was delicious and the crepe was enormous. Another member of my party tried the veggie crepe which had egg, spinach, mushrooms, and cheese. This crepe unfortunately didn't have any type of sauce and desperately needed it - a hollandaise would have been perfect. So word to the wise, order the crepes that say they have a sauce. The crepes were supposed to come with a salad or fries. We both ordered the salad with it, but we're then asked what type of salad. We said whatever comes with it, but we were told we could pick house, Caesar, Greek, etc. we ordered Greek and Caesar but were then upcharged a substantial amount and received full salads. They were good salads but that's not what we wanted. I feel like perhaps the server was new and didn't understand that salads were supposed to come with the crepes. Oh well. It was a delicious and filling meal. Be aware that they do not offer glasses of water, you have to buy bottled water at $1.50/bottle. And they did not provide an itemized receipt at the end of our meal - just the total. read more

This is one of my new favorite places! High quality ingredients, delicious food, pristine restaurant, and excellent service. I loved my Nutella crepe with fruit! Generous portions, packed full of flavor. Large and diverse menu. In addition to crepes, you can also order sushi, burgers, quesadillas, salads, omelette, appetizers, coffees and more. I really enjoyed the fried chicken wrap, and the Philly steak wrap. These wraps are generously loaded and the wraps are sturdy and never lose their shape or fall apart. Their delicious homemade Ranch dressing is included in the wrap, along with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and more. The wraps come with French fries, which are seasoned well. I'm addicted to their pistachio boba and have ordered it a few times. Really tasty. The restaurant is beautiful! It's a stand alone building with its own parking lot, and drive thru too. You can dine in, carry out, drive thru, or delivery. There are two large dining areas inside with plenty of space and privacy. Excellent and friendly service. Came here for lunch on Thursday and I'm guessing because of Ramadan, there were literally no other people in the restaurant and so when I pulled up, I was a bit confused as to whether the restaurant was even open! My friend and I were the only ones in the restaurant and it still took probably 15 minutes after we ordered for our food to arrive. But let me tell you...ALL THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD! I got the Parisian Chicken savory crepe and I'm still thinking about how good it was! It was everything I wanted it to be and was so dang tasty! The savory crepes also come with fries or a salad, and of course I opted for fries. Then our waiter asked us what kind of fries I wanted and turns out they have basically all styles, including...CURLY FRIES! So I obviously went with that because it's not every day you can get curly fries! My friend and I also both then ordered a dessert crepe. I got the Cadbury one because I absolutely LOVE that they have so many UK/European based candy branded crepes on the menu. Cadbury is hands down my favorite and I had never seen that as an option before for crepes or otherwise on a menu, so I had to! The Cadbury chocolate wasn't as melty as I expected it to be inside the crepe, it almost looked and tasted more like a thin layer of melted chocolate and then chocolate shavings throughout the rest, but I'm not complaining because the taste was there, the crepe was massive, and it all paired perfectly with the strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream that come with the crepe as well! All in all, this place was SO delicious and you definitely can't judge this restaurant by its cover when you pull up! It's so interesting because their food menu is so expansive, including sushi and bubble tea and pastas and so much more, but I would highly recommend starting with their crepes, both savory and sweet, before branching off into other territory. Came here with a group of 5 all together. The menu is extensive, there are so many options to choose from. You can literally be craving any type of food, and they will have it. Honestly, the menu is quite large in my opinion. The location itself seems a bit run down. It was empty and there was barely anyone inside. It just made me question why it was so empty.. We just ordered $70 of food from Sky Crepe Cafe. They use Uber eats for their delivery but their carry out boxes are sealed plastic containers (not the loose styrofoam type). Just as we had taken our first couple bites of food a COCKROACH drops from out of one of our steak sandwiches. Ordinarily we would have considered the possibility that it may have come from the delivery vehicle but as I said, these boxes were SEALED with zero cracks. We called the restaurant and politely asked to speak with a manager. We were asked what item of food it came out of. We responded "the steak sandwich". He then put us on hold. When he got back on the phone we were told "there's nothing we can do about it. Call Uber eats". In shock, we said "excuse me? There's nothing you can do about it? Are you kidding me?" Needless to say, we messaged Uber eats because there's no phone number we can call. We'll also be calling the health department, and obviously will never return. It's a shame because they had a pretty decent steak sandwich. I will notify everyone I know about my experience with this restaurant, their horrible management, and complete disregard for their customer experience let alone customer health. If this is how careless they are in front of their customers when it comes to cockroaches, imagine what the kitchen is like. If you're ever starving and in need of some good food late night, this is the place to go! They're up and running until 2AM which is much later than some other places. I hear there crepes are really good, but I never had the opportunity to try that out. I got grilled chicken sliders, which were delicious!! Unfortunately their crispy chicken contains dairy, so I wasn't able to get that. The French fries were good and the tater tots were greaaaaaat. So crispy. The location was once a taco bell so the outsides a little funny, but on the inside you could barley tell. The employees were all very kind & attentive to food allergies (always a big plus). The food here was delicious. Was looking at their large menu options and finally decided to get their chicken wrap (on a tomato basil bread). I had the option of several fries and I chose curly. However, they didn't have anymore so the kind waitress suggested to give me waffle fries instead. Needless to say, I was really happy with the fries. The sandwhich was also super good. I come here often, the sushi is delicious. I tried out their sliders as an appetizer and they were good, nothing special. I highly recommend getting a crepé. The kinder with fruits is mouth watering, only thing I would suggest is to order it with your food, they take forever to come out. Clean place, service needs to improve. Some waitress are good and some seem to forget they have tables. If your a sushi lover you'll enjoy their rolls, they do charge you for extra sauce, such as spicy mayo and soy sauce. I've been here multiple times before and you guys have yet to disappoint me. I'm a fan of your food and I find it very satisfying. But I'm leaving you 1 star tonight because my experience tonight will make me never order carry out again. And I'll make sure I warn others of what happened. Anyway, I've attached pictures of my family's order including, my receipt, my change, and the salad I ordered. The salad was very soggy, it was warm and not edible. It was my mother's meal and all she had was the chicken on top and threw most of it away. There was no satisfaction or enjoyment in this meal. What she ate she ate because she was hungry not because it was good. But this isn't my greatest disappointment. My 9 year old sister went downstairs to pick up the food when it arrived. The bill was $22.24 so she handed the delivery driver $40 which we gave her. My sister waited for the driver to go back to his car and return our change. When he did, he handed her $15, got in his car and drove off real quick. My change should have been $17.76. Now obviously he doesn't have a cash register to give me exact change but I would of expected something rounded. But for him to exploit a child that doesn't know any better and tip himself and drive off is unacceptable, it's very unacceptable. I don't want that 2.76 back, you obviously need it more than I do, but I will never order carry out again knowing this is the kind of shit that goes on. This isn't a money thing btw, what's 3$? Nothing anymore. But your driver broke a code of ethics from B2C that he'll never get back from me and I just hope he doesn't do that to everyone. read more

She messed up by bringing a completely wrong plate of sushi to our table, and then messed up what kind of pop we ordered too, and when the bruschetta came it looked like expired chicken on it so of course we didn't eat it because looking at it made me sick to my stomach. This is a great, very unique restaurant with a lot of potential. BUILDING: I live directly behind this place and can provide a little history about this place: for years this location was a Taco Bell. It closed around 2011, was vacant for almost a year, then became a burger joint. The burger place lasted only a few months before closing. I ate there once and knew it wouldn't last. Fortunately, only months after it closed, construction began on converting it into a crepe cafe. You can tell the owners really invested quite a bit of money into this place. It is owned by the same folks who own the Sky Cafe down the road on Warren Ave. I've always felt this building would be hard to convert to a new restaurant because of it's distinctive Taco Bell architecture. Well, with a new interior, exterior paint job, and a cool Eiffel Tower sculpture on the roof, they've done about the best they could as far as the building is concerned. Only issue is that the interior is typical Dearborn/Arabic/Hookah Bar fare. They have a large plasma screen TV every couple of feet and must have about 15 in the place. The seating is more appropriate for a hookah bar, but it is a comfortable place to lounge, just doesn't seem to fit the French style. FOOD: Not being very familiar with crepe based cuisine, I asked the staff what was good. I said I wanted something sweet, with chocolate, and maybe some strawberries. He recommended the Nutella Strawberry crepe. I asked if I could also have bananas on there and they were very happy to accommodate me. Whenever I go there, I simply tell them what kind of food or flavors I'm looking for, and they will recommend something, or simply make a custom order. They will make you whatever you want. They also offer a large number of frozen yogurt. I ordered a strawberry banana frozen yogurt on a separate visits, and was very impressed. Smooth, creamy, and very flavorful. They also have tons of toppings you can add. Everything is charged by the oz, toppings included. I got a large pint sized order with a bunch of toppings (many fresh fruits are available as toppings) and it was about 5 bucks. A very fair price. Finally, I've tried some of their coffee and thought it was pretty good. I ordered a basic large house coffee with cream and sugar and it was good and was about 1-2 bucks. They offer many more choices but I haven't tried anything else yet. SUMMARY: I say this place has lots of potential and I really want to see them succeed. The staff is courteous and friendly. Food is fresh and quickly prepared, not to mention delicious. Price is not dirt cheap, but also not what I would consider expensive. My large coffee and gigantic Nutella crepe was about 8 bucks out the door. Give this place a try and I bet you will be pleasantly surprised. Try the Nutella strawberry banana crepe! Tried this place out for lunch today. Everything we ordered was very good. The salad was exceptional. Our group tried the savory crepe, a wrap sandwich, and the flatbread. We also shared a dessert crepe after our meal. Again, everything was quite tasty - and portions are plentiful. Not very many other patrons at the restaurant so go give this place a try. The menu is extensive to the point that more focus would probably help out. They have sushi, crepes, burgers, sandwiches, meals, and even a yogurt bar. Another diner had the sushi and left most behind so not sure about that choice. Didn't have a chance to try the yogurt bar but the advertised pricing looks good and lots of toppings to choose from. I wish I can give this place 0 stars. I used to like their food the sushi is still good but their food is always undercooked. I got 4 rolls and a burger and 2 drinks my order was over $100. I can get way better service and good tasting food for that much. McDonald's burger tastes better then this place. My meat patty had blood in it. And they charge you over the smallest thing. So don't ask for a side of fries. Burgers that cost around $7 usually come with fries but not this place. They charged me for the side of ranch?! A small cup with ranch is $1 and I swear on everything I love they water down their ranch with water.
