I've passed this place a million times and finally decided to try them out, let's just say my only regret is that I didn't come sooner! Stopped by yet again this past Wednesday for some quick takeout. I was actually driving to the gym around 6pm when I realized I went the whole day without food. Food is excellent as is the service whether eating in or delivery. Some of our favorites are the grilled pork chops..drunken noodles..beef and chicken with Chinese broccoli. I love coming here. The food is fresh and they close pretty late compared to the other restaurants in the area. My server Jenny was really nice, very attentive. They have a bar if you want to order cocktails. They give you enough food so you don't feel overly full. I was skeptical about the coconut rice but once I tried it, it tasted really good. Went on Saturday around 1:30pm. The owners were extremely accommodating because their largest table seats 6, they combined another table to extend it for an extra baby with a high chair (5 adults, 1 child, 1 baby). We ordered 2 appetizers and 6 lunch specials, we got the drunken noodles with beef ($1 added surcharge for beef option) and wife got the pad woon sen lunch special with the jumbo shrimp (I think it was already included). Both were excellent! Very flavorful, good portion sizes. Also the calamari and mini spring rolls are both recommended for appetizers! I didn't use it, but my DW said the bathrooms were very clean as well! Great restaurant, great service, clean restaurant and the kids liked staring at the fish in the tank by the entrance. TL; DR- Wonderful and would return. J and I went in around 5p on a Friday and it was empty except for one table. Had to ring the bell for a worker but once we hit the bell help was immediate. The place is spacious, super clean and you can tell they're taking the pandemic seriously. They even have antibacterial wipes and a huge pump container of hand sanitizer on the tables. The Tom Gha Kai was the best I've had. Hot, a little salty, a little spicy, packed with tender chicken. I could have eaten a gallon. Our entrees were good too. J got sesame chicken. The sauce was a bit goopy but the flavor was excellent. My "spicy" Thai basil chicken was devoid of all spice, which was disappointing. I had even emphasized to the waitress that I wanted the spice. But regardless, it was a hefty portion with plenty of chicken and fresh vegetables. The rice served with both was perfectly cooked. The complimentary honey dew slice with the check was a sweet touch. It was cold and yummy. $32 for two waters, two entrees and a cup of soup. Yum. Would return and will probably check them out for pickup. read more

We finally got to try this restaurant. I placed a large takeout order earlier this week online. They did not disappoint and I felt I had to write a review. Everything was delicious, flavorful and fresh. When I showed up, my order was ready as promised. They even gave me 3 free Thai iced teas. The guy at the restaurant even helped me to carry the food to my car since it was 2 bags and the iced teas. The overall favorite dish was the pineapple shrimp curry with coconut rice. We have been here many times since moving to Freeport...or at least as soon as we could with the COVID restrictions. I have to say everything is amazing, and the service is friendly and top notch. We always start with soups and appetizers (calamari is delicious!), and move onto entrees that we share. I always need to get the salmon (Pla Jeaan) - it's gorgeous and delicious. Wow! We finally have Thai food in Baldwin. And not just passable Thai food, but just as good as the best anywhere else on Long Island. We come here alot now or pick up take out from here whenever we can. Where else around here can a person get steamed vegetable dumplings??? Nowhere! (Not even in chinese restaurants around here). This place has a full Thai menu (plus a few chinese items in the "Pan Asian" section of the menu, for non-adventurous types). I usually get Gaang Panang, which is chicken (gaang) with yellow curry (panang) in a creamy coconut sauce with peppers and crumbled peanuts on top (you may have to ask for that part, which I always do). It is out of this world! I get it with coconut rice and it tastes like I am in Thailand. It is spiced perfectly - with a little kick, not at all mild but just right. They also have other curries, which I will be trying. The chicken satay is juicy and delicious and we fight over the peanut sauce when we split an order because it is so damn good. Kanom Jeep is steamed vegetable dumplings, delicate and light with the crumblies on top, served in a bamboo steamer basket, just the way it should be. Heavenly! The dipping sauce is so good that I drink the rest from the bowl.... Seriously! And they give you 8 dumplings. We've also had the Pad Woonsen - clear noodles with mushrooms & vegetables. My husband says it's perfect. He has it with shrimp (which were fresh he said, not frozen. He gets really annoyed when he's served frozen shrimp in a restaurant. A real "bay man" type ;) ). And he says their Tom Kha Gai (chicken coconut soup with mushrooms) is fantastic. They have all the traditional Thai noodle dishes and curries and Thai specials like mango chicken, which I plan on trying next. I've been to Thailand and there, mangos taste unlike anything you've ever had - deliciously sweet - and are used in everything. This place's use of mangos reminded me of that. For dessert we love the mango sticky rice which is so delicious - mango and sweetened coconut rice with a sauce on top (if you get if for takeout they put the sauce separate so you can add it later. They are careful with details like that. We were surprised by things like that - we just expected a "joint", based on this very unassuming next-to-a-gas-station location, but this is a real restaurant). If you ask, they have extra peanuts, extra spice, whatever you need. They are nice and accommodating. Plus on each table are wipes and hand sanitizer, the tables are nicely spaced. The place is clean - I looked around and it appears to be cleaned carefully, and the outdoor area is very inviting, despite it's location right on Atlantic Ave. They've managed to make it feel like you are sitting at sidewalk table at a restaurant in Thailand, watching the traffic go by. For the outdoor tables I recommend reservations because they fill up at night. We're glad this place arrived because this town needs it - as you can probably tell I am rooting for them, but that's because I love the food!! They barely made it through the pandemic because they opened 1 week before quarantine began and then they had to close. But now they seem really busy so I look forward to eating here alot!! read more
