In fact, it didn't make it out of the parking lot (see photo for evidence). I have no regrets, that chowder was full of chunks of clams, potatoes, celery, and corn. Buttery, creamy, and filling. Barely had room left for the Buffalo chicken popcorn shrimp but somehow I managed. Crispy, well-sauced, with just the right amount of punch. Took it to go but looks like a fun place to stay and eat. I was in and out with my food and still three employees said "Thank you, have a good day" or some iteration of that phrase. First time ever here, see you again real soon!

I have ordered takeout before but today I just needed a moment to sit and enjoy something comforting . This place and the chowder did the trick. The place has been around since the 30's so that says a lot. They do have tables outdoor under a tent but I love the nostalgic vibe of the inside counter with the little stools. You can watch them fry up all the goodies. I was immediately greeted, sat and my beautiful bowl of chowder came. The service is endearing and though my first time dining in, they treated me like I was a regular and they do with everyone. Maybe that's why they have been around so long. Good food is great but service that makes you feel like you are a regular is top tier. As The clouds rolled in the thunder struck and as the rain poured down, I enjoyed my lovely bowl of New England clam chowder. They are heavy on the fresh clams and just right on the potatoes. They do have the red chowder and their Long Island version which is a mix of the 2. This just hit the spot all around and on a day like I was having today, filled my soul. I'll BE BAck for the good fried goodies next time. Thank you!

Food comes out promptly, and they keep things moving smoothly even when the restaurant is busy. Ambiance: 4/5 The ambiance is lively and casual, with a fun, high-energy atmosphere that fits the seafood boil experience. It can get pretty loud during peak hours.
