The atmosphere is very gorgeous. The server was very nice and quick to check up on us. The food was super delicious for the price. It was a very fancy environment and enjoyable to be there.

Megan took our reservation. Blamed us for mistaken the reservation was on a Friday instead of Saturday. Our party didn't get to enjoy our meal. We were disappointed that Megan blamed us that there was no reservation after call two times to verify time and date. No apology at all. We took our business elsewhere.

Bread with olive oil / balsamic and parmesan for dipping. Bread was fabulous. Espresso martini was super delicious.

Random find on the way to Chicago! Cute inside and out, loved the building. Staff was pleasant and ambiance was great. Food and drinks were delicious!! Bread was just perfect. Definitely a place to try if passing by!

I ate here for dinner with 11 others and the restaurant was able to accommodate a group that large without any issues. Their menu was pretty straightforward and a lot of items sounded good to me. I don't remember what everybody ordered for their entrees, but we ordered the bruschetta and shrimp cocktails for the appetizer. I chose the Rib Eye Steak as my entree. The bruschetta was good and same with the shrimp cocktails. I would recommend either of those for an appetizer. The Rib Eye Steak was okay to me and what made it okay was the sauteed mushrooms they smothered over the rib eye. It was overpowering the taste of the rib eye in my opinion. The potatoes that came with the rib eye were not bad. For dessert, I ordered the Tiramisu and that was delicious. Overall, the food here was good and would recommend checking it out if you're in town.

Went to dinner at Basil Tree for dinner.

Cute little place... food was delicious. Do yourself a favor and don't skip dessert. The tuxedo cake is what dreams are made of.

Was really tasty for a small town. The soup was to die for! The pasta was a bit over cooked.

Average food, attentive staff. I think that this is probably one of the better restaurants in Dixon, but nothing to write home about.

The food was phenomenal, the waitresses were very kind, the bread oil was a little iffy tho, a good place for a fancy feast or a date night!

My wife and I have been coming here for Fajitas for 2 years so this is not an off the cuff "I'm…read moremad" review. The food quality has been going down over the last 3-4 months but last night there was no seasoning on any of the meat. My wife's chicken fajitas looked like 3 or 4 servings on the plate but was almost nothing but green peppers. I had the Texas Fajitas and had very few peppers and no onions at all. The shrimp was severely overcooked. The attention to detail was definitely lacking last night. Hopefully they get their "poop in a group" so we don't have to leave town for Fajitas!

Our waiter would not acknowledge my girlfriend unless it was to take her order. The Illinois card fee is supposed to be 3.25%, but that is not what they're doing there. Originally, our bill came out to $41.08 after tax, but there was a card option for $47.34 and a cash option for $45.97. Why are they charging an extra fee for cash? Anyway, 3.25% of $41.08 comes out to $1.35, so my total should have been $42.42. Instead, I was charged $47.34. I chose to leave instead of arguing with the staff member. After leaving, I did the calculations and realized they charged me a 15.25% card fee. I never carry cash, so I used my card. When I asked about the markup, I was denied an answer and kept getting cut off while trying to speak. The employee I spoke with kept saying, "it's just a few bucks," over and over again. This establishment sucks. They're ripping their customers off for horrible food.

I found this local family restaurant and had an excellent experience. I walked in and placed an order for carry out so I could take it back to my hotel. I ordered cheese enchiladas, bean dip, chips and salsa. While I was waiting for my food to be prepared I had a chance to look around the dining area. The interior decor is eclectic. Very unique collection of items on display. Service was super friendly. I could tell the employees genuinely cared about their customers. My food was ready quickly, and everything I had ordered was excellent. The chips were phenomenal, house made, crispy and delicious. Salsa was fresh and tasty. The rice was savory and beans were a good texture and flavorful. Enchiladas were very tasty. The menu is extensive with many unique entrées I will plan to return the next time I'm in the area .

We were dining with someone who is celiac, and glad they were able to discuss menu and accommodate and make gluten-free meal without celiac diner getting sick later (which other restaurants refused outright). A lot of great choices at lunch. You get better prices for the quality and quantity. Chill place because it was actually empty. It's more popular for takeout orders. The best things to get are the lunch specials. A lot better value than anything else. There's also a fairly small cocktail menu. It's about $8 for a basic cocktail. This has more availability when it gets later. Basically we came for the food. It's about $12 for the Lunch Special. A lot of great options to choose among. She had the Green Curry. This comes with bamboo shoots, basil, bell peppers, and mushrooms. I got the Spicy Basil Leaves. This comes with basil, bell peppers, green beans, and onions. Comes with steamed rice and choice of appetizer. There's also a protein choice and we got tofu. Had an herby and spicy flavor. There's also curries and noodles among the other specials. Great flavor and there's a spiciness to it. It's closed Mondays. There's plenty of things for vegetarians.

They were 4 tiny rolls about the size of my pinky. I gave them to my dogs. I fried up some veggies I had in my fridge to fill out the dish with a little more food. I usually don't eat out, and I usually don't get angry, but for 27 bucks I was pretty livid. I live to far to drive it back.
