I had delicious chimichurri tri-tip with a summer peach salad, along with a fruity gin cocktail and a guava cider to wash it all down. (Don't judge me, the steak sauce is a little salty!). The serving of steak was generous. The restaurant is a classy white table cloth place in a historic town, and the bartender was smart, quick and witty. Had a martini and it was okay, their speciality martinis are not as good as I was hoping for considering it is a martini bar. The food also kinda sucked. Yes - they are also fabulous - just have Cheyanne mix you something up either on - or off the menu - she (just like the owner) is a master. The drinks are terrific and terrifickly priced. The menu is varied and the dishes uniquely prepared. The pork schnitzel is not just good, but covered in delicious spinach spaetzle. More spaetzle than spinach, so I recommend getting a salad with it. The appetizer menu includes dishes that are small entree sized, so you don't need to overeat. Fish tacos are excellent. The decor (like the pics on Yelp) is cool & colorful. And so is the waitress, Sarah- the best part of BMB. Pleasant, fun, and knows the food. This place is awesome. I had the tri tip rare, melts in your mouth still and comes with some kind of flavorful sautéed onion and other stuff topper. So much I saved half for a sandwich. Got one of the house cocktails - "summer sunset" Bacardi, amaretto, orange juice, pineapple syrup and real grenadine with a fresh orange slice- I'm a sucker for rum drinks but wow. No port wine but I got a Woodford Manhattan (it had the European deep red cherry- yum) to go with the house made crème brûlée which was decadent but light and perfect. Great, contemporary vibes and a beautiful interior with a friendly and gracious server. Ordered two appetizers, spicy chicken poppers and crispy avocado spring rolls, and they were both really good. Entrée was bruschetta gnocchi and they were tender but not blown out and very tasty, with a walnut pesto and fresh arugula. (Definitely coming back for that!) But what I really love here are the cocktails--the strawberry lemon drop and mango passion were delicious, and the lava flow was perfectly balanced and, frankly, wonderful! A great way to usher in the summer! For dessert, a raspberry lavender sorbet: fruity, velvety soft, and not at all too sweet. In town on business and after hiking the Spence Mountain trails I was HUNGRY. This place did not disappoint. My Whiskey Sour was a great start along with the Roasted Beet Salad...I have to figure out how to make this at home. The Scallops were seared perfectly and the Corn Risotto is addictive...the kicker though, the horseradish whipped cream...seriously insane. First off the customer service is fantastic. We had so many people approach us and ask how we were doing during our meal. The food was awesome. The gnocchi is pillowy and delicious. I highly recommend the scallop risotto. It was a little louder than I like but didn't bother us. Finally it's a martini bar and the drinks are on point, we tried 4 or 5 different off the menu and didn't find a bad sip. Can't remember our servers name, I know she's a golfer, but she shared great recommendations that fit exactly what we were looking for. Also be sure to end with the crème brûlée!! read more

Save your time and mostly your money. Squash soup was almost like pudding. Rib eye small like it was cut in half and grilled and dry out even catsup coulded save it. Smallest bake potato and Brussels were to to salty. Only had 2 desserts. Service was bad. She kept reaching over the table to serve my food. I think that why she never gave her name. We visited this wonderful establishment twice out of our three nights in Klamath Falls. The first night my wife and I started with their signature spicy margarita. One of the best margaritas of our life! Coming from New Mexico and prior to that, Texas, we know margaritas. My wife enjoyed the mac 'n cheese and I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo. Both scored 10.0! The next evening we returned and started with gin and vodka martinis. My wife is a martini connoisseur and totally enjoyed her Ketel One. We both like our martinis bruised and the bartender did an excellent job. Probably one of our best martinis. My wife ordered the gnocchi and I the hamburger. My wife did not stop saying how wonderful the gnocchi tasted. The ambiance is wonderful, the staff worked together like hand and glove, covering for each other if an order was ready and someone else handling another table. We love this restaurant! Great selection of seasonal menu items and absolutely delicious cocktails. Highly recommend the rough and rowdy bourbon cocktail with the torched thyme sprig. Such a nice touch to add a herbaceous and smoky element to a drink. Management also appears very open to feedback - we went last week and they had already removed the sweet potato gnocchi after a few less-than-stellar reviews even though it was new to the fall menu (see below). Passing thru K Falls, thankfully caught this online. Great little gem in the heart of old downtown. Boujee meets martini bar! Staff was great, all dressed very similar which really added a bit of class and refinement. Service was excellent, not only was the staff friendly and on top of things, it truly felt like they were excited you were there. Drinks were great, I had the St. Valentine Mule, the first one led to the second. Food arrived quickly, presentation was good after being placed. The fish tacos lacked flavor, pretty bland, however, all the other dishes were great! After initial service, staff continued to check on our needs till the end. We just traveled through 7 states - Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon and this was the best restaurant we encountered. Completely unexpected. We ate in high end restaurants in Jackson Hole, Big Sky and at a James Beard nominated restaurant in Utah and the Basin Martini Bar exceeded all. My wife had the seared scallops & corn risotto and I had the jerk spiced chicken but everything looked exceptional. We had craft cocktails prior and finished with their Kentucky Bourbon cake. The food was just so so, and I asked them to make a simple Cosmo, which is not a challenging drink to make. Not only is it not on their regular menu no one was able to make a proper one, despite me explaining to them quite simply how to do so. The first two they tried were not drinkable and I finally just gave up. For $12-$14 for one drink I don't want to pay for something that wasn't correctly made. Needless to say, I won't be returning. The wait staff was excellent though and very apologetic for the bartender, not knowing how to make the drink. I feel bad writing this review, however, it's honest. read more

We had dinner at Basin Martini Bar the other night and the server was very knowledgeable about the drinks and entrees. She made several recommendations that were delicious. We ordered the deviled eggs as a starter followed by the scallops with corn risotto. My husband ordered the honey glazed salmon. Both entrees were cooked to perfection. I ordered an old fashion and it's probably the best old fashion I l've had. The appearance of the restaurant was very pleasing and the music playing was not loud. My husband and I could carry a conversation. My only complaint is that no one in the restaurant took away any of our plates when we were done. This includes the starter platter and small plates, our dinner plates, our drink glasses. We would have ordered dessert but there was no room on the table with the dirty dishes and glasses. A place like this I would expect our server, busboy or just any worker to clean up. The restaurant was not busy and staff were standing at the bar talking with one another. I guess I just need to ask to have my plates removed? We'll probably return. read more

Since my previous review, I've returned several times. This is one of the few places I've ever been to that started off well enough and then, quite surprisingly, improved each time. It might be the best restaurant in Klamath Falls. The drinks are good and always have been. But the food might be even better now. Every detail, even on something as simple as a hamburger, has been given proper attention. The (relatively) new desserts are indulgent. The service is fantastic. I can't think of anything I would change except perhaps one typo on the menu. Absolutely great. N.B. The menu available on Yelp is not current. They have made numerous changes (including a change to a paper menu rather than a laminated one). read more
