Cookie monster cone and a scoop of "Mom's making cookies".
    Teuila G.

My kids requested we stop for a cool treat after school today, so we rolled into Baskin- Robin's before running errands. A few years since our last visit here when we introduced my little guy to his very first scoop of ice cream here. There was only one girl working when we arrived; the only plus side was she was very friendly and doing her best to get to everyone. My only suggestion is they have a little more help with the weather getting warmer. Wait times I feel are always a bit longer than other locations in town. 31 flavors and everything ice cream in one spot. If you're having a unicorn party, they make a mean Unicorn ice cream cake. That was one of my daughter's birthday cakes for a unicorn themed party one year. Do check out their other designs for custom ice cream cakes. Today, we ordered: Mom's making cookies, cookie monster, and a double wild n Reckless sherbert. My go-to is their Jamoca almond fudge, and they have them pre-packed here to take home. Do check out their other pre-packed quarts to take home. All flavors were 2 thumbs up today! We'll be back!

Chocolate, jamocha and a berry I think

Service was pretty good, packed with people when we arrived, nearly empty when we left. Ice cream is stellar! Variety was really good! It was hard for me to make choices but I came up with three :) Right! 3 is better than just one:) . Location was clean and suitably decorated.

This Baskin Robbins location is definitely my favorite out of all of the ones in town. They always have a variety of ice cream cake flavors in stock, and of all different sizes too. I really like getting people ice cream cakes for their birthdays and the people at this store and always so nice and will even write on the cakes for you (the south Reno one will not). Their ice cream is delish and if I'm not getting a cake for someone, I opt for a single scoop hot fudge sundae with gold ribbon ice cream...SO good when I want to treat myself!

    Sink but no customers allowed.

Not offering and outright denying customers hand sanitizer or hand washing is a bad look. Ice cream is about what you expect but a splurge price-wise.

    Turkey ice cream cake!

Took the grandsons for ice cream on this first day of snowthey had the yummy waffle cones and of course were very happy. I just have to share the photo of their absolutely cutest Turkey ice cream cake I have ever seen!

I haven't been here in awhile and to my surprise it was remodeled! I love the new look!! It's more lively and welcoming, and it seems that the flow of the store is a lot smoother. The customer service was always great at this location, and the store looks clean at all times. If I find an unclean table then it was due to customers not cleaning after themselves, and at that point I just wipe it clean and sit to enjoy my treat! My fave is jamoca ice cream on a chocolate dipped cake cone. So YUMM!!!

Love Baskin Robbins ice cream, especially Daiquiri Ice! Don't love their prices. It's good, but a single scoop of ice cream doesn't need to be $4. Looks like they've remodeled at this location. Looks nice. The staff the day we went in were polite and prompt.

Lucky for me the sparks one appears to only be 20 minutes I just never realized it! Walked in and was immediately greeted which immediately set the good vibes. Since it's my first time (pretty sure the friendly owner) explained how it works. I immediately chose the full moon cause I love a peanut butter chocolate banana situation, and I asked for no granola (just saw on IG however it is gluten free) so I might not replace it next time however we subbed it with a chia pudding mix and I liked this a lot. The fruit tasted so fresh and the mix of everything was so tasty. I see you can kinda adjust things to your liking so I'd probably add a bit more peanut butter and not the vanilla base (if I understand it correctly there was two) I loved the coconut tasting one and I liked that it was a bit frozen so it didn't melt immediately in this summer heat. They have a regular and large size and I felt the prices were reasonable and will keep me coming back. I'm already thinking about my next one and I think my hubs will love it too!

They also sell soaps and bath products shaped like realistic desserts, which I love and thought were such a cute touch. My daughter chose the pink strawberry ice cream with the pink strawberry cone. The flavor was great. It tasted fresh with real pieces of strawberry throughout and nothing artificial-tasting. I also liked that the cone itself had strawberry flavor woven into it rather than just being dyed pink or coated in toppings. I originally planned to get a second flavor to try, but the single scoop cone was over $10 so we decided to just share. We also came after seeing an Instagram post about their seasonal Lucky Charms cone and thought it included the ice cream shown in the photo, but it turned out to just be the cone. The advertising appeared to be made with AI and, for that reason, was a bit misleading when it came to representation of the ice cream available. Parking was probably the biggest challenge. The lot is very small and with the one-way directions in the lot, and around the block, it took a bit to find a spot. Inside there are only a few seats. There were four stools at a counter, and with another family there we ended up sharing a single bar stool. The bright interior makes it a place you want to hang out, but the limited seating makes that tricky. Still, the ice cream itself was very good and it was a fun outing with my daughter.

It came with mango & guava juice, strawberries, peaches, and pineapple sherbet. I also had an offer to add a complimentary boost; I selected the 'Sassy' Energy Boost (Green Tea Extract & Ginseng). The drink was refreshing, fruity, and provided gratification in every sip. It was prepared to perfection, with the flavor and even with the modification of the smoothie's thickness. The interior of the smoothie shop was extremely clean, vibrant, colorful, and inviting. The pricing was absolutely affordable and reasonable. The staff members created a welcoming environment for guests. Parking was plentiful and easily accessible to the location. Overall, Keva Juice is an incredible smoothie spot by far! We ordered the Dust Storm: a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits, topped with a giant blondie skewered dramatically on top, plus whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle. The rim of the jar was coated in marshmallow dip and graham cracker crumbs because apparently subtlety has left the chat. Honestly, the presentation was on point and exactly the kind of milkshake kids dream about. Which is why we ordered it. My tween declared it "the best milkshake I've ever seen in my life," and honestly, that alone made it worth the stop on our mother-daughter trip. Taste-wise, it leaned very sweet for me and didn't have a ton of flavor depth beyond sugar overload. But clearly the goal here is maximal fun and aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed that. It's basically a photo op you can drink. The shop itself was surprisingly quiet when we visited in the evening--we had the whole place to ourselves--but there were games to play while waiting for our order (we pulled out Pick Up Sticks, which transported me straight back to my 90s childhood living room). The ladies at the counter were also incredibly kind and patient explaining the menu and flavors to us. In my opinion, it wasn't enough. There was a steady flow of people, and she couldn't keep up with orders and customer service. We opted for two small scoops of ice cream for the kids: chocolate and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. We also ordered the sizzling blonde brownie sundae. It was about $20 for three items. The ice cream was very good, especially the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Very unique flavor and great texture. The blondie was a bit of a letdown. First, the blondie was not "sizzling". It wasn't even really warm. Only placed in a waffle iron for a few seconds. Second, it seemed very dry and crumbly, maybe even overbaked. I thought the ideas at Black Rock are fun, and I think trying one of their milkshakes should be my next visit. However, there are a lot of great ice cream spots in Reno. For just ice cream, I think there is some heavy competition.
