Wow!!! Amazing customer service... they were cleaning when we came in, wonderful facility.

I dropped by Baskin Robbins' East Plumb Lane location to try their new Dubai-Style Ice Cream Sundae; when I arrived at the shoppe, it was completely devoid of customers and the two employees greeted me warmly as I walked through the door. I stepped right up to the counter and ordered the sundae; the total cost came out to about $13 (plus a $2 tip); to be honest, I got a bit of a sticker shock, I didn't expect a sundae to cost that much. The young man rang up my order, then immediately afterwards, prepared my sundae. A short while later, it was ready. The first couple of bites definitely tasted like a Dubai Chocolate: melted milk chocolate, pistachio ice cream and shredded phyllo dough/kataifi. The rest of the sundae was the standard chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup and another layer of kataifi, more chocolate ice cream and a brownie base. It was a truly delicious and decadent dessert; a little pricey for my budget but it was nice to try at least once. The service was polite, the atmosphere was relaxed and my overall experience was positive; so, on the whole, I enjoyed my visit to Baskin Robbins. read more

Clerk and Cashier very good. Cashier was very helpful with gathering us spoons for our mint chocolate chip polar pizza treat; which was very tasty. Unfortunately, I forgot her name (3/25 at around 830pm). Store was pretty busy for the time of night but the staff took care of them quickly. Initially we got discouraged because of the solicitors outside of the entrance but they left shortly after we pulled into parking stall. 31 flavors has always been consistent. I don't know why most the time I go in there it's raining. I tend to go maybe 2 or 3 times a year but gotta get that sugar cone with pistachio almond. Or the cherries jubilee banana Royale. I ask for marshmallow sause on mine. read more

Serve tonight was very bad. The two people behind the counter were wearing airpods so they never even knew we were there the whole time we were standing there waiting for them to turn around and ask us what we wanted. As the young man went to wait us you could tell he had some kind of cold or sniffled cuz he kept wiping his nose with his glove. Gross! We put our order in and needed to order two more to go and he didn't understand or get the concept that we wanted two to go and he said he already gave us two so we had to continue to explain it to him that we wanted two to go. He said that she would finish our order as he stood around doing nothing. Watching her finish up her order and then come and finish our order. As he turned to walk away? He said what the f*** which I thought was very rude. He tried to help put the lids on top of the stuff that we ordered to go but he spilled most of it and never cleaned up around it. We definitely won't be back there because if that's the kind of service you're going to get then why bother going?. This location is my family's favorite ice cream place. Service has always been good and friendly, the place is clean and great prices. We love it specially because we have some food restrictions ands Baskin Robbin's does a great job labeling allergens. If you are in town and want delicious ice cream this is the place. read more

Baskin Robbins on Plumb Lane Horrible staff, customer service. Rude An entire freezer for ice cream was broken so they didnt have a lot of flavors available I get that was not their fault. BUT The young male that helped us, I asked for a single scoop on a regular cone. He told me he didnt know what a regular cone was, i told him and he was so rude and said " this is what we got , you want it or not" I then asked for the scoop in a bowel, no napkins or spoon. When I asked for napkins and a spoon, he walked away and told the other gal " you can get her a spoon" He finally came back since no one helped me and gave me a spoon and told me they didnt have napkins. My spouses ice cream was fine , we sat down and not only were we watching this crew interact, we watched 2 couples walk in attempt to order & walked out complaining of the staff as they walked out It was dirty, tables garbage all over, floors sticky. This was my first time visiting this Baskin Robbins location and I was so impressed! It is very spacious, bright and clean! My husband, sister in law and I had a very good experience! All of the flavors were available which was really nice. I had the fat free vanilla frozen yogurt & no sugar added caramel turtle. Both flavors were great! My husband had cookie dough and my sister in law had a Reese's peanut butter sundae. We really loved the bar seating and there were also some nice big chairs. The menu is very big and easy to read. One of their freezers has been broken for months and instead of keeping the flavors from that freezer in another, or the back, or rotating them with the others, they just claim "We are out". I've been to this location couple of times before tonight and I thought it as good. Tonight though, although it wasn't that bad we definitely left with not much satisfaction. One freezer was not working the choices on that freezer are all soft if not melting. The other two freezers seemed to be working but doesn't seem to be at 100%. Though my boyfriend ate all of his, I had only a few bites of mine. Even all of these, the server/cashier kept a positive attitude about the whole freezer issue and gave us a good service. read more

I went in tonight around 9:30 and as I pulled up the store was dark and the open sign was off. I had assumed the location was closed. I walked up to the door to check. As I opened the door, I asked "are you open". The girl behind the counter says "yes but we are closing soon". I came in at 9:30pm when the door says the location closes at 10pm. After I was done getting my ice cream another couple was behind me. The same girl behind the counter says to her coworker "I am going to lock the door after these people walk out." After I walk out at 9:35 and the couple behind me walked out at 9:40 the young girl behind the counter quickly locks the door to make sure that no more customers can come in. It is very unprofessional to lock the door before your listed closing time as some customers may want to come in for a late night Ice cream trip. read more

I went for the Plumb baskin robbins location and ordered a snickers layered sundae the girl who did the order made it wrong it was supposed to have both hot fudge and caramel sauce on it the girl only put caramel sauce on it I took two bites and I ended up throwing it away on disappointed that it was made wrong I paid $8.11 and I should've gotten the right order I guess I won't be ordering that anymore I guess I'll be ordering just the ice cream with no toppings anymore I'm glad I only ordered one not multiple I've cream read more

One word describes the products they serve these days: artificial. I didn't even finish the 2-scoop cup I picked up. It was terrible. Over sweet, artificially flavored and artificially colored. What the hell happened to this location? It was great, clean, friendly staff, upbeat ..... the next week a mess. The store is messy, the cone displays are empty and disgusting dirty, the ice cream looks like it was left melted then re-frozen . I heard someone mention the manager left? What a shame.... We quit coming to this location due to terrible service pre Covid. Then gave it another shot and it seemed the owners got their shit together. New staff was friendly and actually acknowledged customers. They offered samples, always tried to upsell ....It was wonderful. Then everything went down hill again. They even offered a cup for my dad when the ice cream scoop was much larger than the cone would hold! The store was really clean and spotless. Very unprofessional. I called a week in advance to order two polar pies for my husbands surprise 30th birthday and they didn't take all my information down. I had to ask..."do you want my name and phone number?" I got off the phone finally after ordering 2 ice cream cakes and told them specifically that I was going to be in a time crunch and it needed to be ready at 3pm. They said no problem. The day I go to pick up there is only ONE person working and finally I get to say I'm just here to pick up the two cakes. The guy tells me he's not done with the cake and needs to drizzle the marshmallow on top... I wait over ten minutes and he's finally ready to ring me up. I asked if there was a discount for it not being on time and he said what? No!! You are being so unreasonable. I told him I was in a hurry and I told them in needed to be done right at 3& if I was going to have to wait 10+ minutes for them to finish the cakes he needed to tell me in advance. I asked to speak to a manager and unfortunately he said .. he was the manager. Ugh. Really poor customer service and really poor time management. They do get 2 stars though because the cakes were absolutely a hit and very delicious. We got the cookie dough cake and Oreo polar pie. I just spent $9 to throw my ice cream in the trash. This location used to be the best, but now with all the new employees who have never seen ice cream before, it's gone downhill and quick. I didn't say anything when I noticed the staff not wearing their masks because I truly don't care if you wear a muzzle or not. I had covid and have antibodies so it doesn't bother me... but it may concern you if you're bringing grandma in for an evening treat. I also didn't say anything the last few times I've gone in and they have put hardly any toppings on my ice cream. I'm understanding that people need to learn. The manager noticed the last time I was in, holding my skimpy two scoop sundae with a half pump of hot fudge that his employee had just served to me, and apologized profusely about what we received. We didn't complain, just paid for our ice cream and left. Tonight though... I've had enough. The store was filthy... the ice cream counter was disgusting as was the counter behind the employees. There was no one else in the store when we came in and now I know why. I ordered a 2 scoop sundae and the ice cream I chose was literally the bottom of the barrel. The kid asked me if I still wanted that flavor, to which I said no. He didn't offer to bring out a new one either. I chose a different flavor instead. Most of the ice cream in the containers had remnants of other ice cream in it. There was sherbet on the chocolate ice cream, like a half scoop of sherbet.. it added to the ambience of the rest of the dirty store. He asked what kind of toppings, I said hot fudge and all the rest (whipped cream, nuts and a cherry). This kid looked so confused like it's the first time he's ever seen an ice cream sundae before. He put whipped cream onto my husband's ice cream and it fell off onto the counter, and he used his hand to put it back on top of my husband's ice cream!! Wtf so gross! There was non existent hot fudge as is the new normal here. They also seem to turn off the freezers so the ice cream is scoopable, but the daily melt and refreeze makes the ice cream so icy and gross. I have seriously never had worst ice cream anywhere. I really hope management can hire competent people. Covid has taken away the ability for people to use their brains and provide customer service. Won't be back. If you want ice cream go to the grocery store, spend half the money and do it yourself. At least you will know what toppings go onto a sundae. read more

The team was amazing... they were very helpful and generous with their portions as well. They helped us pick a great flavor and the ice cream was delicious. We had no issues at this location. They had plenty to choose from and we had only waited a matter of 30 seconds to a minute before they started helping us. They had precious customers and it seemed like everyone was happy. The place was clean and they had all different types of ice cream and cakes. This was a pleasant experience due to the fact we've had a very easy visit. Keep up the great job! You guys did a great job. I didn't get their names, but they were great a taller male and a shorter female. Keep up the great job! We will be back to see you guys soon! Any other time I've been has been great. Tonight really upset us. Little icecream treat before we headed home from valentines dinner, yum...right? We walked in and we're greeted by 2 younger adults. Before we could even ask for anything, we were told no blender items because they were closing. I understand because of Valentine's Day, businesses sometimes close early and it's also a Tuesday (Google maps says 10pm, check the hours before you go on those small holidays), but we walked in at 8:40pm and was told no. Disappointed. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes to clean a blender...MAYBE 5 minutes. Was really disappointed that I turned down a nice restaurant dessert for my favorite ice cream shop and got told no because two kids didn't want to clean a blender. The store is clean, parking is easy, and the location should draw a lot of business. We tried jamoca almond fudge, very berry strawberry, nutty coconut, pralines and cream, and maple pecan. All were a hit with everyone. Smooth and creamy with lots of nuts in the coconut and pralines galore in the pralines n cream. Will be back to try more flavors. read more

I made an Uber eats order from another state for my sick children. These people were the RUDEST I've ever encountered. I ordered things they didn't include in my order, they made terrible substitutions WITHOUT my permission. When I called the girl was unbelievably RUDE. Worst customer service I've ever received. My coworkers and I always come here to purchase ice cream coffee. A couple times we asked for an extra cup so I can share my large coffee. I found out that the owner got mad at her employees.
