I'd go out of my way to come to this location! I went in last night around 9:30pm and the shop was spotless. I was greeted immediately by a nice young blonde lady. She asked me how my day was and insisted that I'd try whatever flavors I wanted. She handled the big crowd very well, even though it was just her working. I ordered my things and I paid. As a person I don't really have a sweet tooth, but we all have those days were ice cream is a MUST!!!! I normally get my plain jane vanilla flavor, but something in me decided to change it up today. I ended up getting strawberry cheesecake as was not let down. I wasn't even aware that there were more flavors on the other side !!!!! I have now order twice from here via Uber and both times they have forgotten part of the order. It's like the staff doesn't know how to read a order. It is not rocket science. When it says 2 that means 2 items not just one. Tried to call and they tell me well we didn't charge you you have to talk to Uber. My experiences at this location have generally been decent. My reason for for this review though literally takes the cake. I went into the store a few days ago to pick up a few scoops of ice cream. Upon entering I noticed a family of four or five being helped by the employee. To my left was another employee speaking with a customer near the ice cream cake book area. A few minutes go by and the family has just now gotten their first item and she was making the second item for the dad. I'm still patiently waiting and look to my left to see that the other employee is still helping out the customer. The employee tells him to hold on for a moment then comes to help us. My daughter asks for a sample of the Spiderman ice cream which the employee scoops out and gives. My daughter is ready to order but the lady has gone back to the guy at the counter for more talking. Maybe a minute or two later, as we are waiting still, she ends up KISSING the guy at the counter!!! This whole time I thought it was a customer but nope it's her boyfriend. At that point we just walk out and leave empty handed and disappointed. The next day I call the corporate office and relay the above. I am promised a phone call back from the store owner with 24-48 hours. It has now been almost a full week later and no call. Surprise, surprise! I been going to this store for many years. Last year I ordered a cake online when I went to pick it up they said they never received an order. I showed them the confirmation on my phone. I didn't end up getting what I wanted. Exactly a year later I ordered the cake again over the phone, I go to pick it up and it's the wrong cake. So they decide to take it apart and redecorated. I came home and cake was a complete mess. I went back the next day and cake decorated denied making that cake. Omg I was buring up. Manager told me next time we will get it right. They are very racist toward black people and disabled. I went there for my 58th birthday party cake. It was stale. I called immeditey to get a refund and they refused because I did not have the receipt. I'm visually impaired and I have several receipts. I had freinds and family with me and for them to refuse me after using them for 25 five years is unacceptable. They can keep their racist and stale They claim to have a new owner and if he thinks for one second he can give our community these sad and stale items, he is sadly mistaken. You never know when they're going to decide to close and the workers are always rude. The last time I went, I got there at 7:45pm and they were closed but inside cleaning up. What place closes as the random time of 7:45pm?! And no posted hours anywhere so I guess they can just close whenever they want. This place is one of the worst establishment I could have ever experienced. People are unfriendly, the management are nickel and dimers and would do anything to get over on you. Today I purchase a banana Sunday, the scoops were small and not full scoops. I asked if they would give proper scoops for what I'm paying for this and when it came time to check out they charged me for an extra scoop $2.99. I have ordered cakes here as well and they always came out exactly how I wanted. They recently remodeled and there is more space and is very nice. I came here yesterday on a Tuesday to get my scoop for 1.50. Bill came out to 3.83 for two scoops and I asked if the deal was gone and the lady said starts next week. Uhh okay...it's not the money it's the principle. I believe it's under new management. I'm not sure if she's the new owner or what but the worse part was when I got home. The scoop on the bottom was literally three bites. Ridiculous a full scoop would've cost them pennys. Stingy place I rather drive out of my city than to go back there. My friend and I along with his daughter came to this store to purchase 1/3 sheet of mint chocolate chip ice cream cake on 01/01/2016 for a birthday party. Once the children were done singing the birthday song, it was time to cut the cake and serve it. We were shock to find to out that the flavor was strawberry ice cream cake and not mint chocolate chip as indicated on the label. My friend called the store to inform the employee of this discrepancy. Josie advised my friend to speak with her manager, Rosie, who was not even working. No one in the store would take ownership of this error. Clearly display of poor customer service | lack of professionalism.
