As we were walking towards the window, a young man in the drive thru line greeted us with, "Give me a second, I'll be right with you." At first, I didn't think much of it, but it quickly became clear why he asked us to give him a few.. This location only had two employees working on a very busy night. The young woman was handling the drive-thru window, while the young man was taking drive-thru orders, helping customers at the walk-up window, and keeping everything moving. They were doing the work of an entire team, all while staying friendly and professional. Yes, there was a bit of a wait for our eight drinks, but once we saw the situation, we completely understood and didn't mind at all. Despite being short-staffed, our drinks were made perfectly and tasted great. Before we left, we wished the young man good luck because they were truly working hard. I've never seen a Dutch Bros in CA operating with only two employees during such a busy time.
