It's worth noting that the cheesecake ice isn't your standard non-dairy flavor, and falls under the "cream ice" category. The gelati also comes in one size and seems a little big, perfect for sharing or for someone with a sweet tooth. I would love for it to be sold in a smaller version. Definitely the perfect way to cool off after a hot day. I'm sure you'll love it too :D

You have a choice of which cone, so I got the cake cone (it looks like they only have the long one). An employee asked if they could put the cone in a cup as I could see the custard was really soft - it was fine by me. A spoon was provided. As I devoured this custard combination, they were still fixing my funnel cake fries. I got regular and had requested it to go. When I received it (covered in a cup), I decided to try some soon afterwards (while still in the lot). I did notice a big difference from the last time I got the funnel cake fries here. This time, they came out lukewarm and a bit limp - not sure what happened (maybe they had an off day with it). No biggie as I'll just stick to other things on their menu.

Always Ice Cream has unique flavors so we had to study the menu a bit to decide what to get. The staff was great about answering our questions too along the lines of what's in . . .? In the end I had a single scoop but the staff was willing to do two half singles so I could try two flavors. For the record, I love that! I had Egg Nogg and another ice cream with a vanilla base that had a chocolate/fudge swirl and other good stuff mixed into it. Both were solid choices and I am looking forward to trying more flavors, especially as they change with the seasons. This is a small shop so there are only two two-top tables inside. We sat and ate a little bit of our ice cream before heading out. I'm already looking forward to the return.

Surprisingly because it is the number one most popular flavor. The cake was moist but the frosting is way too sweet even for me who has a sweet tooth. Of all the flavors I tried, my top three favorite were the carrot cake, almond cake, and the red velvet. I really love that they have mini cupcakes because I can try more flavors and not have to workout as long to burn off all the calories. I also purchased the peanut butter cookie which comes in a 3-pack for my hubby. He enjoyed them. I tried one and the flavor was good and it was partially soft and partially crunchy. The staff who assisted me with my cupcakes was super friendly and gave me her recommendations on which flavors she liked best and which were the most popular. I will return, hopefully this summer, to try their ice cream or one of their other cookies.
