Came in on Easter Sunday and got ice cream. There was just one girl working by herself and handling it ALL on her own and the line was up to the door. Her manager or a lady who is a higher up was here and she was no help at all, she just sat on the side. I felt so bad for her because I get it - I work at a boba place and work by myself during rushes and this poor girl is making sundaes and milkshakes all by herself. I truly commend her! However, I take away one star because the manager should be helping or at least having someone come in early. The girl working literally said "someone needs to come in because I can't do it all myself" and the manager said "that's how it is suck it up" like that's very unfair. Sweet moments at Aina Haina Baskin-Robbins. This location is perfect because of its parking location [lots and lots, and it's free!] plus the staffs are sweet and friendly. Our server for this evening was Scott. Today, we had Cookie Monster with Jamoca + Cookie Monster with Oreo Cookies 'n Cream Topped with more Oreos. I'm happy they brought Cookie Monster back!! It's one of my favorite that they came up with. My only wish is that they find a ube flavor to add to their list. There's a Ube Cookies and Cream that I really enjoy at another location...maybe they can add a twist with brownies or cheesecake...hmmm The store is filled with so sweet scent coming from their ice creams and cakes. It also filled with the people enjoying the sweet delights with families and friends. Ah-the OG of ice cream shops! It's been open for a while in the Aina Haina shopping center and we frequent Foodland next to it but have managed to resist going in. Well, after a night at the movies (The Boys in the Boat-awesome movie) we decided to top off the night with ice cream. Greeted with a friendly welcome and loads of choices. I got the two scoop in a waffle cone ( you can get it in a cup, regular, wafer or waffle-priced accordingly)- the iconic butter pecan and the cherries jubilee. Ice cream is good but don't expect Sage creamery or Dave's. It is a "dad takes the kiddos for a treat" place. It's the ice cream shop of your childhood. Of course you've now grown up and a 2 scoop in a waffle cone will set you back about $8. I do want to mention though the waffle cone was a little stale- no crunch. Check your receipts! This is the second time I got overcharged for my visit! This one was a bit much. My fault in not looking at my receipt till now ( went 4 days ago). The worker charged me for a banana split at $10.59. I only ordered three single scoops and a milk shake. I didn't think too much on the total $30, since BR is pretty pricey already. My friends ordered after me and they didn't get a banana split so not sure why it was added. So, just check your receipts. Being da DEALAGES hunter that I am, I made sure I cut that coupon out, then checked da date on when it expires. Lol! Da day finally came, as yesterday we made our way to Baskin-Robbins. I guess we must have come at a good time as there were no lines, with just one party ahead of us. Baskin-Robbins carries an array of ice cream flavors & to be honest, picking a flavor can be pretty challenging. At the end, we ended up picking up a Butter Pecan cone, & a Jamoca cone. How was da ice cream? I don't know? Lol! Truthfully Bruddah Fran is not an ice cream eater, but he knew his Yelp buddy - Jolene L. loves ice cream (especially Ben & Jerry's). Unfortunately there is no longer any Ben & Jerry's ice cream shops on Oahu, so 31 flavors it is! So happy I came here, because of two things - 1. I ordered a happy birthday ice cream cake with strawberry ice cream and white cake 48 hours before. I received a confetti cake with cookies and cream ice cream. Totally wrong cake. I contacted BR and was told they didn't know how to refund the cake, then I was told the manager would contact me, then told me that the refund was provided. Well it's been almost 3 weeks and no refund and no accountability for their error. Unethical business and poor customer service. read more

They make it so easy to order a cake online but it is so hard to cancel or modify your order since you have to call them to make any changes. The phone number that was provided on the confirmation letter just rings and no one ever picks up. The only way to get it cancelled at this point is if you were to physically walk into the store. Rude worker. Made me cry. Would happily never come back. Friday night. Saturday Jan 6. Tall, young asian boy, didn't pay attention to the name. I was super excited to come and grab some hand packed pints and quarts. Started off decent enough. I was very polite, kind, and bubbly per usual. At one point I got confused between the pint and quart and which one was smaller or bigger. Unknown man quickly loses his patience with me and raises his voice while shaking the two sizes at me. I was taken back and said you didn't have to say that like that I was only confused, I didn't do that on purpose. I immediately went to the cash register to wait to pay. I didn't engage after that and quietly paid and left. I didn't get the correct sizes I wanted but I didn't want to talk to him any longer. If I could offer one piece of constructive criticism. That was very rude. Learn some patience and customer service. I was having a bad day and getting some ice cream to feel better. This was the second time today I was snapped at when someone else was stressed. It wasn't just ice cream for me. It was a way to make me feel better. Great job making me feel worse. We decided to try Baskin Robbins finally. It's been open a while but we have never had a chance. We came for the first time after dinner one night. I decided to download the app. And if it's your first time, you should download the app. You get a free cone. My daughter got the strawberry and I got the pralines and cream. That's my absolute favorite kind of ice cream. The ice cream was great, we both enjoyed our after dinner snack. Today was my mom's birthday and she wanted ice cream cake. She wanted us to just pick it up from a grocery store but I told her I would pick it up from baskin robbins. I got a small white cake with strawberry ice cream. Their website is pretty organized and I ordered it all online. You get a choice between chocolate or white cake. Then you can choose what type of ice cream you want in your cake. There are a lot of options. The small cake can feed around 8 people so it was the perfect size for our family. The small ice cream cake costs around $33.00. You can also get writing on it too if you want. The cake was good. It was a little hard to cut into at first because the ice cream was frozen but the strawberry ice cream went well with the white cake. Can't wait to go back again and have another treat. read more

I always pass by this Baskin-Robbins during my time here in the Aina Haina shopping center in most weekends here when I'm not traveling. But on this day, Christmas Day 2023, I decided to enter this ice cream shop because I was craving ice cream. My time here was short and sweet. I wanted chocolate. Maybe it's because I wanted a reward for finishing the 2023 Honolulu marathon. Maybe it was Christmas and I needed to treat myself after treating family for lunch earlier in the day. Probably a little of both and a reason to spend it here for myself. With that said, I was glad that they were open till 7pm that day and nobody was in line. There was only one staffer here on Christmas Day 2023. With no line, I swiftly looked over the flavors they had available and quickly wanted a pint of chocolate. I assumed they had take home pints to go, I'd imagine. The guy directed me to the freezer of pre packed quarts. Initially was like, okay, that's a quart. Not a pint. But at $8.50, it was pretty good deal. I love chocolate so I didn't hesitate to purchase it and because it was Christmas, I just was in the holiday spirit of sorts. The service was friendly and brisk. I enjoyed the emptiness of the store so I could be serviced fast. The ambiance was quiet and still, as with most businesses that were open on Christmas Day that aren't restaurants. Thankful Baskin Robbins was open that day. Y'all made my day for sure. Definitely a place to have your ice cream at a reasonable price. Recommended if you are in the area and love your ice cream! The overall experience here at this Baskin Robbins ice cream shoppe at the Aina Hina Shopping center was very good, since they were open and available, no lines, and just a quick and easy transaction. Granted that it was Christmas Day, it was still good. The store itself could have used some centralized air conditioning, but it didn't matter since it was close to 5pm when I arrived here. The shopping center was basically deserted but that's okay. More space for me to sit down and have my ice cream in peace. The prices here were on point with what you could find anywhere on Oahu I always get a pint, or in this case a quart of ice cream, because is better value versus one scooper or a two scooper, you always get more when you buy book and save some money but if you're that type that just wants a single or double serving, that's cool too. This Baskin Robbins ice cream shoppe is located at the Aina Haina shopping center. Its address is 850 W Hind Drive in East Oahu. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. Cash is always cool. If you drive, they have a generous, but limited parking space for anybody and everybody who wishes to come here to park and play as well as shop and have ice cream. However, if you are like me, Bus routes 23, 24, 1, and 1L come thru the area and stops at either Kalanianaole Hwy or on W Hind Drive. You can choose the one that suits your preference in getting here and having a good ice cream experience. For the most part, though, definitely was a decadent treat for me as well as my stomach. I can't believe I did this. But then again, it was Christmas and I didn't Think straight. I should've gotten the three scooper or something but I decided to get something larger because I probably earned it or something. And so, if you're in the mood for ice cream, and in the area, consider coming to the Baskin-Robbins for Baskin-Robbins for your daily fix. I know I should anyway. I am here on the weekends if I'm not traveling. Spoiler alert: I managed to eat the entire court of ice cream within 10 minutes. Oops. 5.0 stars for the entire experience. Support local! He indicated "they" shouldn't have posted that.  I don't know who "they" is...I told him it says it's for this location.  I asked who I can complain to, he said the manager didn't control the Facebook posts.  I couldn't pull up the sponsored ad while I was in the store, but it popped up again in my feed, & we were driving past, so we stopped back in so I could show Dan the full ad. He said he just got off the phone with him GM & he messed up because they are supposed to give them the code. I asked if he could honor the ad, & he again said no...he has no way of processing it. We were headed to the Aina Haina library when my daughter screamed: "It's a Baskin-Robbins!!! Can we get ice cream?" And since my daughter is still less than excited about reading books, I felt rewarding a trip to the library with ice cream would be what we all needed to end the day on a high note. We just happened to visit this Baskin-Robbins location on its opening day and this location is beautiful! Everything is brand new and the workers are all so helpful and sweet! You can sample all the flavors of ice cream and my daughters had a great time finding a new favorite flavor. A visit for the three of us was about $22, but if it makes my daughter enjoy reading more, then it's worth it! Made a quick stop to this location in order to redeem a coupon for a discounted sundae with the purchase of a regular priced one. I was greeted by Dan who took my order and then went on to craft each dessert. He was extremely helpful and made everything perfectly. Came today with my wife and her co worker to celebrates my wife's birthday. We got one of the frozen ice cream cakes. Luckily they ate it there because something was off with the cake. We told the worker and she asked if we wanted to talk to the manager and we told the worker yes. But instead of the manager coming out, the worker returned and asked us if we wanted to select a different cake. That is when we found out that the cakes were not made in store anymore but delivered from somewhere else (they could not tell us when the cakes were actually made) and they add certain things to it in store. We told the worker no and if we could get a refund (there was no point getting a different cake in case those cakes were off too), so she want in the back to talk to the manager again and then came back out afterwards and gave us a refund. It would have been nice if the manager themselves had come out and talked to us instead of having their worker deal with us. read more

I ordered a celebration cake for my child's birthday, and picked it up before his party. We received a graduation cake with the wrong flavors and someone else's name on it. They tried to fix the name (it looked even worse), but we had to take the cake since guests were waiting. I called the next day and spoke to manager, and he said that he could see we got the wrong flavor cake and name, but insisted we ordered a graduation cake with flowers for an 8 year old. He asked us to return the cake, which we had to serve the day before. Since we only had half a cake left, he offered a 15% discount on our next order. Lame. We're never ordering from there again. The service here is horrible. Two or three employees will be working and none of them have any urgency to help customers. They will then have just one of them serve customers in the store while the other two pitter patter around the back restocking boxes and doing stuff with cakes, even if there are 10 people waiting to be serviced by the one person. It is so clear that there is a lack of leadership from whoever the owner is because it shows they don't know how to greet any customer, they do not speak clearly or enunciate at all, they don't say thank you or smile at all, even when given a tip. The best thing about this place is the air condition and the seating. I hope they stick around and have better training before the BR corporate shuts them down for a lack of training. read more
