My husband and I came here at the end of last month around 11:30 am on a Thursday. We decided to take a quick break after checking out some of the beautiful poppies. We ended up getting: Single Scoop, $3.69 (each) prior to tax- I opted for the icing on the cake flavor that has cake pieces, frosting bits and a candy confetti ribbon. I like to go for their 1.50 regular scoop Tuesdays. Its a nice Baskin Robins located in the Vons shopping center. Its your average baskin robbins, nothing stands out to me, but there is nothing bad either. My favorite flavor would have to be American Birthday cake but that is only available in the summer, otherwise I recommend a traditional flavor such as cookie dough, prailines and cream, or one of their holiday flavors. read more

Im not sure what kind of ice cream this is as my mom just brought this home for me. Ice cream is really sour and i keep getting stringy bits in my mouth. I managed to pull one off my tongue and it looks a pink plastic string. I wiped the ice cream off this tiny string and pulled on both ends of it and it was really tuff and it finally snapped. Why patronize a franchisee that doesn't care enough about his customers to make sure that the employees are giving good service and to be polite to the customers. So one week ago I came in to the Baskin Robbins Quartz Hill location on Ave L & 40th Street to order an ice cream cake. Let me say I called prior to arrival to find out the operating hours. No mention during that conversation with "Janelle" of any specific "cake ordering" time limits. When I arrived there were 1 or 2 people ahead of me, so I patiently waited my turn. Just when it was my turn, more kids starting coming in and that's when the situation got ugly!! "Janelle" made a point of saying to me and I quote...."This is my busy time, kids getting out of school, I can help you when you are ready"!! My reply to this absolutely OUTRAGEOUS statement was..."I am ready now since it's my turn". Did she really think I would fall back after waiting and let her help everyone in the store before me because I dared to be there to order an ice cream cake??? Her attitude was awful and she acted as though the whole transaction was a BOTHER TO HER!! She even felt like she needed to apologize to an inpatient "white woman" Telling this woman who inquired if she (Janelle) was the only one working in the store at the time, and I quote...."I am so sorry for the delay I will be right with you". Meanwhile, trying to rush me through my order !! Also seemingly offended that I articulated to this inpatient woman, that she would need to wait her turn just as I had waited for my turn! I have ordered cakes from this store preciously, but TRUST & BELIEVE THIS IS THE LAST TIME FOR ME!! Th color of ones skin should not dictate how they are treated in a public business!! When it comes to enjoyment in its simplest form, one has to look no further then a scoop of ice cream from Basin Robbins. I am particular to certain flavors and luckily the manager (Kathy), as lovely as she is keeps plenty on hand. If you hold out til Tuesdays they have a great deal of $1.50 scoops. Anyway, allow me to break it down for you in the most efficient way I know. Try any of these flavors and you'll have a mouthgasm of a good time. These are in no particular order either; baseball nut, winter white chocolate, love potion 31 (white or dark), and in limited supply, salted caramel Oreo. Rotate through them and you'll simply fall in love each and every time. You are ok to choose either location in Lancaster. Both have a great and helpful staff that are fast, friendly, and efficient. And if you're feeling especially like being a fatty or maybe just downright depressed I highly recommend the banana royale with both pineapple and chocolate toppings. Today (3/30/2017) we, my daughters and I went hoping to enjoy our ice cream, one of my daughter ordered a Shake , as soon as she taste the shake she said that it was "soupy " and taste like milk. I asked one staff is she can please add a little more mint and she said she couldn't not. I asked for the manager and she was coming from the store, I asked her if they could make it more firm because it was too watery and she responded "I know , to be honest when I made my shake I put more ice cream" so, I asked can you do that to my daughters and said no. But you can do a review to the corporation but, we can't do nothing about. I said "you know I just spend almost $14 dollars and you don't even try to please your customers, she just nod and walked away. I recommend you to investigate and improve your customer service, you product is good , little expensive but, we don't mind paying for but is very disappointing be treated like that.
