Lone Mountains beautiful work NOT Skye Pointe

I ordered the custom cake in a box. The last photo where it looks beautiful is from the Lone Mountain location. I picked my order up at Skye Point. Came straight home, put it in the freezer. Had dinner, relaxed, 3 HOURS later we pull the cake out for dessert. Beg my finest pardon, what the hell is that? Presentation, terrible. Everything sticking to the top of the box. An ungodly amount of "frosting" that I did not order nor ask for. And soft/melting in the middle. I call the store the next morning, speak to a nice young lady. Kindly tell her my issue and just want a refund. I was happy to take the product back because we cannot eat that. She asked for photos and I sent them to her. Along with the one from Lone Mountain (what it should look like). She tried telling me the ice cream melted because I got marshmallow in the middle and it's a syrup that melts it. I'm sorry, what? So why did my other 3 exact orders not melt? She said the owner will call me shortly. That was at 12pm. 5pm rolls around, no call. I call the store, they tell me the owner will call me in a couple hours. I never received a call. I call this morning, they tell me the owner will call me right now. The owner TEXTS me. Claiming I put it in the refrigerator not freezer. Like I'm some kind of idiot. When I double down, it's not what I ordered and it's not something you should ever give a customer. She tells me the same girl that works at Lone Mountain, made this cake. That makes no sense. You're telling me she decided to make a beautiful cake at Lone Mountain, but then came to your store and decided to be sloppy and serve a mess? She said no. Then explain why the difference?! Then she tells me the frosting comes on every cake. I advise it's a CUSTOM CAKE. I tell YOU what I want on it. There is no indication or drop down to select that frosting. She said it's "automatically" on every order. Then why isn't it stated online? In the description, or an option as a topping? That would defeat the sole purpose of a CUSTOM cake. I simply just wanted a refund. But she told me to reach out to corporate and she will not refund me. I did that immediately. I have screenshots and call logs along with her text message for proof. This is the most unprofessional ownership I have ever come across. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Reported to corporate, next is BBB. Should have just given me a refund. Could have been that simple.

    Abysmal reply from the store

This situation began on 6-20-2025, with a request for a custom cake. The girls working behind the counter were very nice, and offered to send the reference image for a cake that I had, to the decorator directly. They did so, and the decorated replied and said that it "wouldn't be exact", but they could do it. I will attach the exact same reference image here, and what I received. When I picked up my cake on my birthday on June 28th, the girls at the counter quite literally apologized to me as they handed me my cake, because they knew how ugly it looked. It was absolutely hideous. The cake itself was green, nowhere close to the reference image. That aside, it was incredibly sloppy anyways. It was somehow very uneven, with chunks missing out of several corners, errors on the font, and overall just looked like a child had made it. Certainly not adhering to any sort of standards that I would expect from a company as large as Baskin-Robbin's. I don't like being a Karen, but I've had to contact corporate over 15 times and still have not received an appropriate resolution. When this store finally reached out to me themselves, the response was lackluster and clearly copy and pasted, no personalization or addressing the clear problem at hand. I'll attach a screenshot of that too. This whole situation is absolutely ridiculous and I hope no one patronizes this location ever again. The handling of this situation has been downright insulting. I have wasted nearly a month and a half trying to get this fixed.

Great service! Great ice cream shop! Clean restaurant with outdoor seating but too hot to do that! Enjoyed our Sunday ice cream treat! Thank you!

I don't have any complaints about this place! I wonder why it has such a low review. We went, they got us ice cream, and they were pretty fast. Super polite and the ice cream was fine. There was also places to sit and the place was clean. It wasn't an amazing ice cream place, but it was fine for a baskin robins chain! So we will go back. The only reason I gave it 4 stars though is because the prices are sort of high for what you get. I never knew baskin robbins was so expensive because I always only went for my bday ice cream, which was free!!! But finally got something w/o a coupon and I thought it was a little expensive.

Order ice cream and got anything but. Oreo sundae had no oreos and nothing like the pictured menu item. They just lost a returning customer. Sad how companies let this type of behavior happen and have no compliance or quality checks. Hope the franchise owne sees this.

Chocolate Malt? or Chocolate Milk ? You can be the judge .

The matcha parfait was good with a nice creamy texture and flavoring. However, I have one complaint. When coming with two others where we are lactose sensitive and with one having an allergy to oats, they wanted to try the matcha latte's and we asked if they can make with almond milk . The female worker said they don't have almond milk and only do oat or whole milk which was odd, and I asked again to confirm and was told no. They ended up having to do whole milk despite being lactose intolerant and was bothered. I look through here from comments by the owner saying that they CAN substitute with almond milk, which is confusing and a little annoying that we were told they don't substitute almond milk and was never told a reason why. That's one complaint for those who might be allergic to oat milk or are lactose sensitive: There is barely any option to accommodate and for that I give three stars. I probably would not come back again nor recommend because of the lack of accommodation for those who cannot have oat/almond milk. However despite that it is good to try once.

The recent visit was a little chaotic because my two-year-old nephew accidentally spilled my entire drink all over me . It made a huge mess on the table and floor, and I felt so bad. One of the girls came over right away to help clean everything up and was so nice about it. They even offered to make me a new drink, which I definitely wasn't expecting and really appreciated. Thank you again to her!! Stuff like that is why I keep coming back. The matcha is always amazing, and everyone who works here is so friendly. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good matcha spot in Vegas.

Some other spots in town have similar offerings and may be doing a better job at it. I ordered the J2. Jumbo Pomelo & Mango with Sago ($13.95) to share in our group. There was a wide variety of ingredients, generally tasting quite good. The actual mango fruit was soft and super sweet, there was perhaps a coconut jelly topping that was also nice, as well as a coconut ice that felt snowy in texture, a mango custard, and a decent helping of sago near the bottom. However, I wish that the mango ice cream wasn't so hard and icy, and I was disappointed later to realize that we didn't get any pomelo at all. I really enjoyed the pomelo the last time I had a similar dessert. The dining area did seem pretty clean at least, and they offered complimentary cups of water for each of us after I requested it. Napkins are cheap but freely available, and spoons are pretty sturdy despite being disposable plastic. Maybe I'll come back to this Hui Lau Shan location if I'm around Spring Mountain and find myself really craving their brand of desserts. But I'd prioritize different businesses if I were planning a trip.

Reviews of this Korean coffee shop were impressive enough for us to give it a try. This "hidden" coffee shop had "speakeasy" vibes as it was a bit hard to find. Online photos led us to a massive, unmarked medieval-style wooden door with an "open" banner. Definitely don't judge a book by its cover as the interior featured antique furniture, a glass atrium, soaring trees, and a 3-level wooden bookshelf-reading area designed like a grandstand with seating you could climb on. I suggest staying here awhile and enjoy the F&D inside as it is definitely social media worthy and a gem in LV's Chinatown. After saving our spot, the gang proceeded to order from the long queue at the bar area. Took photos and marveled at this cozy cafe while waiting for our assortment of coffees and baked goodies to arrive. I had The Gäbi (dry cappuccino topped with raw sugar and espresso grounds) while my wife opted for the velvety Einspänner. We shared a Berry Ricotta Brioche. I was able to taste the other artisan pastries (Ube Mille Cake, Tiramisu Croissant and Strawberry Shortcake to name some) from our group and they were as good as they looked. The only complaint is the pricier bill than what other coffee shops might charge. I guess this view is at a cost then. First time trying in a Korean coffee shop and we loved it! We would definitely return if we're in this neck-of-the-woods again.

We specifically wanted to stay off the Strip because Vegas prices on the Strip can be pretty wild, so we found this place through Yelp. The space is really cute and has a cool industrial feel, with books and other little touches that make it more interesting than your typical dessert spot. They even had a couch swing, which turned out to be a lifesaver when my toddler was getting a little cranky. The desserts were good, but I have to say the prices felt pretty steep for the portions -- around $12-$13 for a very small slice. We tried an ube dessert and a matcha dessert. The matcha one was definitely my favorite. It had this interesting French-style flavor/profile and felt more unique. The ube one was just okay for me. And as a Filipino, I have to be honest: putting ube in something doesn't automatically make it amazing. I feel like sometimes ube gets treated as the magic ingredient when it's really about how well it's actually executed. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars. It's a cute place, the atmosphere is fun, and it served exactly what we needed that day -- a casual little birthday-weekend dessert stop somewhere away from the Strip. I'm glad we found it, but given the prices and portion sizes, I'm not sure it would be a regular stop for us.

However, I do want to clarify one very important point regarding my service dog. He was calm, quiet, and completely under control throughout the entire visit. He was not active, disruptive, or vocal at any time. He is a trained service dog, not a pet. I also want to clarify that under the ADA, a person with a service dog cannot be required to sit outside simply because they are accompanied by a service animal. Service dogs are generally permitted to accompany their handlers in areas where customers are normally allowed. A service animal may only be excluded in limited circumstances, such as when the animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action, or when the animal is not housebroken. Neither of those circumstances applied here. So while I understand your policy regarding active or vocal dogs, that does not describe my dog or what happened during my visit. He was calm and caused no disturbance whatsoever. I sincerely hope your staff can be better informed about the distinction between pets and service animals so that another customer with a legitimate service dog is not made to feel unwelcome or told they MUST sit outside.
