I love this location! We go here about 3x a week to satisfy our sweet treat cravings not just because the ice cream is good but because of the customer service. Lou is very knowledgeable, helpful, and always helps me figure out what to get. KP is also very kind and I am always greeted with a smile. The customer service from these two is what makes me choose Baskin over creole creamery. This location was very clean and all the staff was very friendly. It's so convenient right near my apartment so I can walk. They had a very colorful sherbet that was new flavors like green apple and blue raspberry (see second picture). They also had a large variety of cakes and pints available. I was able to order as soon as I walked in and my Snickers shake was really in just a couple minutes. Baskin-Robbins is always a budget friendly sweet treat. read more

While I normally choose a local shop, I was in the neighborhood & hadn't been to a Baskin Robbins in a while. The sales clerk was a little done...but we were there near closing and I was insisting on tasting the weird colored ice cream (like acid green and bright purple). Those flavors mostly tasted like really artificial candy. So I went with Mississippi Mud. It's a little less expensive then CC but the product is definitely inferior. Still not a bad choice if you're in the neighborhood. read more

I'd go somewhere local if any of those places had soft serve in a waffle cone, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Because I love soft serve, I seem to have to have it about every other week. Because my boyfriend didn't want to patronize Rally's (soft serve in waffle cone available there!), we went to baskin Robbins. He also needed to pick up a few things from Walgreen's, so it was an adequate excuse for us to go there. My soft serve was great! I got it with nuts and caramel. I don't normally get toppings, but it seemed like I should get more than just soft serve in a waffle bowl at an ice cream store. The waffle bowl was thicker than I like, and kinda tasted stale. Perhaps it was the last one from a couple days ago or something? It was a good price, though - about $3. On the other hand, my boyfriend two scoops were $8 alone! What?! This isn't sucré or creole creamery. Craziness. His waffle cone also cost way more because it was dipped in chocolate with nuts. He seriously went all out. I tried his pistachio ice cream; definitely not the best pistachio ice cream I've tried. Next time I'll just go to Plum St Snowball. Closer and cheaper. I always loved their ice cream cakes, so I excitedly checked them out while I was there. They had a new cake I hadn't seen (picture shown), it had more than one flavor. I might want to check that one out. Also, they had ice cream pies!!! (Also pictured) I would be too scared i would eat the whole thing. I did make sure to look at the prices on the creations in the freezer. I swear they used to be cheaper, but honestly they are probably worth the price. It's just hard to imagine paying that much for ice cream Cake when you can buy huge ones at Costco and SAMs. read more

Love the location of this BR. Really nice outside seating. Location is around many restaurants so stopping for ice cream is a perfect dessert option. Pretty small location but the outside seating makes up for it. Always fresh smelling. You can catch me here on 31 cent scoop day for sure! read more

Dessert is supposed to be a sweet, but all we got was a bad taste left in our mouth. We came in as a group of 6 people, the store was empty. The employees were very rude. The employee wearing a beanie hat looked stoned/high and acted as if were were inconveniencing him by ordering. The other employee also seemed like they had other places to be rather than work. We've been to several dessert places like Creole creamery, Sucre, Yogurtland etc and never had employees act like they did at your establishment. When we were in the area we saw Sno-La Snowball was busy and your store was empty. and now we understand why We will not be returning. Baskin and Robbins often gets forgotten with so many new yogurt and dessert places pooping up everywhere. It's nice to go back there every once in a while though for some of those traditional ice cream flavors- I like the mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream and pistachio. What I really like about this location is the friendly service. The people are always smiling and prompt to help. I appreciate that, especially from teenagers who are working at an ice cream store on weekend nights! read more

Been loving this place since I can remember. This location is within walking distance from my place so I am basically screwed. Will always be my favorite mint chocolate chip and I can still remember the first time I got bubblegum (which is hard to find now). I thought I had reached the pinnacle in ice cream flavors (I was in second grade)...and I had bubblegum to eat afterwards...basically two desserts in one! The different gum pieces made the ice cream all different colors...I just loved it! Not a big fan of chains...but I'll let this one slide cuz I'm cool like that, and I loves me some 31 flavors. We have lived in the Carrollton area all my life and I used to go to this location as a child with my parents. We have gone recently 2 times after mass. We got to the store on a Sunday each time around 7:30 ish. Both times the night time closing staff were terribly rude. they told us both nights they were closing and out of milk so they could not make a milk shake. We were told to move tables because they were closing and mopping up. Tonight they said they had already cleaned the sundae station and could not make any ice cream sundaes. As if all of this were not enough, they refused an older gentleman a milkshake tonight. He was very nice and spoke to me for several minutes. There was a lady who came out of the store as we went in with 2 huge milkshakes. So I figured they had just run out of milk. After we left we stood out front finishing our icecream and talking. I watched the same employee who said they were out of milk heft a large milk jug out of the fridge, pour it into the blender pitcher and fill it with icecream making a shake for herself. I went in about 20 minutes ago. All three employees acted as if they were high. Also, I watched one of them double dip into the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream (in front of me) with the same spoon and eat off of it about 7 or 8 times. I was the only costumer in there and he clearly didn't care. Made me appalled at what they would do to the ice cream if I wasn't standing there. It is DISGUSTING. The place gets 3 stars for having free wifi. This is all important in our world of being techie geeks (admit it - you ARE one, even if you don't think so. own a smart phone? you are one). another star because the ice cream and the service was good when we went. The con to this place is I feel (because I am not an ice cream shop connoisseur) the prices could go down a bit. The other con is that they need a bathroom. It certainly isn't the best ice cream in the city, but it is good, and of course they have a lot of flavors. I'm giving this Baskin Robbins 5 stars! The staff is very helpful and friendly. And I have been a few times over the past year and yes it's a chain and doesn't have exotic flavors like chipotle dark chocolate or lavendar honeysuckle vanilla but what it does have is 31 flavors of simple delicious ice cream. Each month they have a flavor of the month and I've tried 3. All were so good I went back a couple times. Plus the price is right. read more

There were three people ahead of me when I got there who didn't have numbers, and your friends behind me sure as hell didn't take a tick either. Was here yesterday and had the Chocoholics Resolution and it was yummy. Decided to get more today, but it didn't taste the same when I got it home, so I went back and asked for them to redo it.
