On my 1st visit the staff was really helpful in explaining the process of how to make my yogurt and let me tell you... there are sooooooooo many flavors of yogurts and and insane amount of toppings. Of course to be a great ice cream/yogurt shop, this is a necessity. Walking in, we were greeted and offered sample cups, but I have my go-to flavors, so I didn't even use them. Spaces were very clean, from the soft serve area to the toppings bar. They had a decent selection of flavors. I chose ube, coconut, and pistachio. This was my reason for the low rating: it didn't taste that great. This is my all time favorite froyo place besides Pure for their addictive Who Dat flavor (my fav) and of course Tutti Frutti which is near my place. Ironically yogurtland is across the street from Creole Creamery and both are open late. So whenever you are craving a late night treat you can go for the decadent Creole Creamery (lavender vanilla and red velvet are my favorite in case you want to get me some) or for the healthier option go for Yogurtland. Now I may be a little biased now that I discovered from my BFF that is a Split that the owner of Yogurtland is a 610 Stomper so this makes me love it even more! What's not to love! There are two outdoor tables (please add more bc it's freezing inside and I don't have the energy to stalk a table outside). Plus there are tons of flavors to choose from and they are always changing. Call me boring but I usually just like their Dutch chocolate and vanilla bean flavor. I just get fancy with my toppings. Plus try charge by the ounce and you can pack as much in there as you'd like. I always used to love this Yogurtland location. But last time I was there in March '24, there was an employee wearing a keffiyeh scarf. It felt TOTALLY alienating and disturbing, and immediately turned me off from spending any money there. Way to alienate your customers, Yogurtland. In addition to this, there was melted yogurt everywhere, the toppings section was in a disgusting state of disarray, the entire place was incredibly sloppy and messy. Not the Yogurtland experience I'm used to. I was so shocked and revolted by the sloppy and unkempt state of this location, and the unnecessary political statement by an employee (by wearing the huge keffiyeh scarf right in everyone's faces), that I decided to never go back and I haven't since then. Mmmm! Definitely a great place to get your froyo fix. I am always greeted by the worker at the register and am offered several sampling cups to try the many different flavors. The flavors are rotating and range from everything from sweet to salty to tart. They even have some unique flavors like taro and ube that come every once in awhile. They tend to always have a sorbet, chocolate, and the tart flavors, which never disappoint. Besides having such a diversity in froyo flavors, there's also plenty of toppings to choose from! My personal favorites are the popping boba balls and the mochi pieces, but they also have other fun options like cheesecake bits, sprinkles, fresh fruit, etc. They also have plenty of fudge options and whipped cream to add the final touches. Checkout is easy with a scale at the register. Parking is never an issue either since they have a parking lot with ample space. UH OH! Pinkberry finally has some competition!! I was skeptical about Yogurtland at first, but then heard so many great reviews about it, so I had to check it out. IT'S AWESOMEEEE!! They offer 16, I repeat 16! different flavors! That's the largest variety I've ever seen in a yogurt shop, and the best part is that they're ALL good! I was worried that the yogurt itself wouldn't be of good quality or would melt to easily, but that wasn't the case at all. You can taste the fresh ingredients, and the yogurt stayed frozen the entire time! My friends and I were so pleasantly surprised. Upon walking in to Yogurtland, we noticed it was a bit crowded. Luckily it's pretty spacious. The workers greeted us immediately and gave us a bunch of sample cups (YAY!). Usually workers at other yogurt shops would be really cheap with it and give us only one or two, but they gave us a bunch. Kudos to Yogurtland! I literally tried 90% of the flavors and was happy to see that they were all pretty darn good. I ended up getting a mix of red velvet (YUM), taro (OUUUU), and pistachio (delish!). This afternoon, to help combat the heat, we ventured out to Yoghurtland to treat ourselves with a frozen yogurt. Yogurtland is always a very friendly place as when you enter, the employee will offer you 5 fee sample cups to try before you buy, which is great! After trailing a few flavors, I decided on two frozen yogurts. They were "Raspberry Lemonade Sorbet" and "Pineapple Tangerine Tart" which were both slightly tangy in their respect flavors, very nice! The toppings I chose were mostly on the healthy side. I poured on blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and mango boba over the top and called it finished. Fruit is always a win in my book and mango boba topped it off nicely. Yogurtland on Prytania is a brilliant stop. I have such a love/hate relationship with this shop. It's definitely, by far not my favorite yogurt in the city... but I just keep coming back. I prefer tart frozen yogurt and this definitely is not the place for that. They usually have about 2 different tart flavors varying every couple of weeks. One of those is always Original Tart along with something usually tropical-ish. Not my favorite, but it's definitely tolerable. If you like sweet flavors however, this would be your oasis. All of the sweet flavors taste pretty much exactly how they sound, especially the chocolate milkshake. The toppings are usually pretty fresh. There isn't as much of a variety here as compared to other yogurt shops in the area but it's not bad. They lack yogurt chips, which drives me crazy. I'm very love/hate with here...
