On my 1st visit the staff was really helpful in explaining the process of how to make my yogurt and let me tell you... there are sooooooooo many flavors of yogurts and and insane amount of toppings. Of course to be a great ice cream/yogurt shop, this is a necessity. My only suggestion when it comes to the topping station is that it should be a top priority of ensuring that the presentation is maintained at all times. The toppings should stay topped off/swapped out maintaining freshness & quality and most importantly the line should stay wiped down. Walking in, we were greeted and offered sample cups, but I have my go-to flavors, so I didn't even use them. Spaces were very clean, from the soft serve area to the toppings bar. They had a decent selection of flavors. I chose ube, coconut, and pistachio. This was my reason for the low rating: it didn't taste that great. Texture was fine, but I wasn't a fan of the way it tasted. Flavors were off and after a few bites, it all started to taste the same. At some point, it started to taste like soap. I always used to love this Yogurtland location. But last time I was there in March '24, there was an employee wearing a keffiyeh scarf. It felt TOTALLY alienating and disturbing, and immediately turned me off from spending any money there. Way to alienate your customers, Yogurtland. In addition to this, there was melted yogurt everywhere, the toppings section was in a disgusting state of disarray, the entire place was incredibly sloppy and messy. Not the Yogurtland experience I'm used to. I was so shocked and revolted by the sloppy and unkempt state of this location, and the unnecessary political statement by an employee (by wearing the huge keffiyeh scarf right in everyone's faces), that I decided to never go back and I haven't since then. What a shame. Used to be a clean establishment. Now it's just raggedy and their priorities as food service have been hijacked and completely misguided. See ya. read more

This is my all time favorite froyo place besides Pure for their addictive Who Dat flavor (my fav) and of course Tutti Frutti which is near my place. Ironically yogurtland is across the street from Creole Creamery and both are open late. So whenever you are craving a late night treat you can go for the decadent Creole Creamery (lavender vanilla and red velvet are my favorite in case you want to get me some) or for the healthier option go for Yogurtland. Now I may be a little biased now that I discovered from my BFF that is a Split that the owner of Yogurtland is a 610 Stomper so this makes me love it even more! What's not to love! There are two outdoor tables (please add more bc it's freezing inside and I don't have the energy to stalk a table outside). Plus there are tons of flavors to choose from and they are always changing. Call me boring but I usually just like their Dutch chocolate and vanilla bean flavor. I just get fancy with my toppings. Plus try charge by the ounce and you can pack as much in there as you'd like. I prefer it much more than expensive Pinkberry where they are like little dictators telling me how much they can for in their overpriced cup. As if! Happy froyo eating! Mmmm! Definitely a great place to get your froyo fix. I am always greeted by the worker at the register and am offered several sampling cups to try the many different flavors. The flavors are rotating and range from everything from sweet to salty to tart. They even have some unique flavors like taro and ube that come every once in awhile. They tend to always have a sorbet, chocolate, and the tart flavors, which never disappoint. Besides having such a diversity in froyo flavors, there's also plenty of toppings to choose from! My personal favorites are the popping boba balls and the mochi pieces, but they also have other fun options like cheesecake bits, sprinkles, fresh fruit, etc. They also have plenty of fudge options and whipped cream to add the final touches. Checkout is easy with a scale at the register. Parking is never an issue either since they have a parking lot with ample space. Seating is also plentiful - they have a few indoor options and a couple tables outside as well. If you download the app, you can also get free froyo on your birthday! The floor is sticky. There are typically two or three machines not working. When we went on Tuesday there were 4 teenage boys there but only one seemed to be working. This place is insane. Like 10 different flavor options including: Oatmeal cookie Red velvet cake Peanut butter Mocha Something or other Mango Chocolate milkshake (sigh) Oh man. When you walk in they give you a stack of little cups to try all the flavors. This is the best idea ever. Then you pick up this huuuge bucket (okay, it's a 20oz ish carton) to fill it up. Choose one flavor or be a freak and fill it up with every single one. I won't judge you. Then you go through the little salad bar type area and load on chocolate, candy, fruit (the fruit is always frozen though, so that's a bummer), syrups, sweet cereal, etc. Weigh it to pay and look ashamed when it's $7 for one serving of frozen yogurt. (ask for the spoon with Kerope on it) I nanny and after school every kid in the area flocks here. UH OH! Pinkberry finally has some competition!! I was skeptical about Yogurtland at first, but then heard so many great reviews about it, so I had to check it out. IT'S AWESOMEEEE!! They offer 16, I repeat 16! different flavors! That's the largest variety I've ever seen in a yogurt shop, and the best part is that they're ALL good! I was worried that the yogurt itself wouldn't be of good quality or would melt to easily, but that wasn't the case at all. You can taste the fresh ingredients, and the yogurt stayed frozen the entire time! My friends and I were so pleasantly surprised. Upon walking in to Yogurtland, we noticed it was a bit crowded. Luckily it's pretty spacious. The workers greeted us immediately and gave us a bunch of sample cups (YAY!). Usually workers at other yogurt shops would be really cheap with it and give us only one or two, but they gave us a bunch. Kudos to Yogurtland! I literally tried 90% of the flavors and was happy to see that they were all pretty darn good. I ended up getting a mix of red velvet (YUM), taro (OUUUU), and pistachio (delish!). My friend got the mint and chocolate milkshake flavors, both very good. What I love about the yogurt is that the flavors aren't overly sweet or overwhelming; it's just perfect. They also offer a range of very great toppings. So the question: Is it better than Pinkberry? It's so hard for me to answer this because I've been Pro-Pinkberry for so long, so I'll answer to the best of my ability. I feel that these two places or complete opposites in a way. Pinkberry offers a few very good, classic flavors. The flavors are more tarty, and it's not self-serve. Yogurtland offers a copious amount of flavors, but is a bit more sweet, in a good way. This afternoon, to help combat the heat, we ventured out to Yoghurtland to treat ourselves with a frozen yogurt. Yogurtland is always a very friendly place as when you enter, the employee will offer you 5 fee sample cups to try before you buy, which is great! After trailing a few flavors, I decided on two frozen yogurts. They were "Raspberry Lemonade Sorbet" and "Pineapple Tangerine Tart" which were both slightly tangy in their respect flavors, very nice! The toppings I chose were mostly on the healthy side. I poured on blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and mango boba over the top and called it finished. Fruit is always a win in my book and mango boba topped it off nicely. Yogurtland on Prytania is a brilliant stop. I have such a love/hate relationship with this shop. It's definitely, by far not my favorite yogurt in the city... but I just keep coming back. I prefer tart frozen yogurt and this definitely is not the place for that. They usually have about 2 different tart flavors varying every couple of weeks. One of those is always Original Tart along with something usually tropical-ish. Not my favorite, but it's definitely tolerable. If you like sweet flavors however, this would be your oasis. All of the sweet flavors taste pretty much exactly how they sound, especially the chocolate milkshake. The toppings are usually pretty fresh. There isn't as much of a variety here as compared to other yogurt shops in the area but it's not bad. They lack yogurt chips, which drives me crazy. I'm very love/hate with here... I honestly think it's the price that keeps me coming back. $0.37 an ounce!?! So ridiculously cheap. When you're on a pretty low budget and perpetually crave yogurt, you learn to love. read more

There are a ton of flavors to choose from, so this is pretty helpful. There is generally a variety of flavors from ranging from tart to sweet to salty to fruity, so there is something for everyone. Original tart is always available, and there is sometimes a fruity tart also. Additionally, they usually have at least one sorbet/dairy free option and no added sugar options. There are usually 1 or 2 soft serve ice cream options as well. The toppings station is diverse as well. There are a lot of fresh fruit options, which appear to be cut up in store. There are also baked goods such as cheesecake, cookie dough, brownies, and cookies to put on top. There are candies and other toppings as well. A can of whipped cream is kept chilled, and hot fudge and caramel sauce sit next to the register. There are a bunch of sauces and nuts over the hood of the toppings bar too. Check out is easy with the scale built in front of the counter. The staff tends to be very friendly, and they always ask if you would like a receipt. Indoor seating is comfy, and three outdoor tables with umbrellas are great when it isn't raining. Overall, the store is clean and well-maintained.
