I drove out to the store and asked if I could get two dozen bundtinitis and couple single servings. It will be 30 minute wait. They use to have them in stock. To pick up and go. The cakes are Delicious and I don't think I ever had a bad one! I took a dozen to my dermatologist and one to my Physical Therapist office, it's fun to hand them to others and you can see their face light up! The Nothing Bundt Cakes is in the Smith ridge shopping center right by Trader Joe's with easy parking to the shop! Nothing Bundt cakes has appeared at EVERY celebration of ours, between birthdays and anniversaries. so on APRIL 16th we placed an order for UNR's graduation to celebrate the first college graduate in our family. Our pick up time was for 11:15. My daughter went to pick up our order at 12:04 after the graduation ran long, and we wanted to give some additional time to prepare our order as we knew it would be a busy day. By 12:27 she was still texting me that she was IN LINE, for a pickup order we placed a month prior. They should have created a second pick up line for already placed orders, especially since UNR graduation has been set for this date for a year and knew it would be busy. But no, they chose disorganization and didn't value any of their customers and had them waiting for ridiculous amounts of time (over 30 minutes?!?!) . My daughter missed most of her son's graduation lunch because of this wait, breaking her heart as she just wanted to bring his favorite dessert and missed almost the whole lunch because of NOTHING BUNDT CAKES. The employee told the person in front of my daughter that they were out of frosting, and that if they didn't have a flavor they would look to see if "they could steal one from an ahead order" UM. IM SORRY. SO PEOPLE PLACED ORDERS WEEKS AHEAD AND THEN DAY OF THEY WERE LOOKING TO COMPLETE NEW ORDERS WITH ORDERS PEOPLE HAD PLACED BUT HADNT PICKED UP YET?!?!?!? Picking up our placed order took over 40 minutes, while my elderly father was stuck waiting in the car for that entire time. To make up for this? They offered my daughter a free bundlet, only available to be redeemed from that one cursed location (we don't live in state and certainly will NEVER be back to this location even if we were in state again) absolutely ridiculous. This was so stressful that my daughter's Oura ring warned her she was in a high stress environment (to pick up a pre ordered cake! Imagine that!) Nothing Bundt cakes ruined our day and our celebration. I really hope that next year they just close for graduation since they clearly cannot handle it and they should not have people relying on them when they are incompetent in completing orders placed a month ahead. This was beyond disappointing, and I hope that someone from management reaches out to correct this. We dropped by Nothing Bundt Cakes one evening and ironically enough, the store was empty, it seemed like they were closing shop for the night because the display case was also cleared out, but as soon as we walked into the shop, a few more customers followed is in and in a blink of an eye, the shop was full of customers. The two young ladies behind the counter did a marvelous job helping the each of customers that walked through the door; the young lady that processed our order was truly hospitable and nice. We ordered four bundt cakes: carrot cake, chocolate chip, lemon-blueberry and cookies-and-cream. So far, my favorites have been Classic Vanilla, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Strawberries & Cream. I tend to prefer the larger cakes over the little bundtlets because they're definitely more moist and overall better tasting. That said, the larger cakes are quite a lot of cake -- probably too much unless it's for a party or special occasion. Recently, I grabbed the Biscoff Cookie Butter bundtlet for my family to try before they sold out. Honestly, all four of us agreed we didn't quite get the hype around this one -- it was pretty dry and could have really used some vanilla ice cream to go with it. I called on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, to place a delivery order, just as I successfully did the last two years around this time. I was told over the phone that they no longer handle deliveries directly, but that I could select Uber or DoorDash if I ordered online. I went to their website, ordered three different items, and paid. Only at the very end did the system inform me that these services do not even deliver to my area. I decided to just pick it up myself on the following Thursday, August 14. My husband and I went into Nothing Bundt Cakes at approximately 9:45 am to retrieve our order: a dozen bundtinis for a birthday party, two bundtlets, and a gluten-free bundtlet for a guest with celiac disease. When I showed the clerk my online receipt and order number, she couldn't find my name in their computer system. After several minutes of searching, she walked into the back kitchen to get help, leaving the front completely unattended while several new customers walked in with no one to greet them. A second employee finally emerged, took several more minutes to locate my name on the computer, and then disappeared to the back without saying a word to me. Minutes later, she brought out my order and handed it over in total silence. No apology for the delay, no explanation, nothing. To make matters worse, she was coughing the entire time she handled our food. When I opened the bundtinis on the day of the birthday party, Friday, August 14, I noticed that most of the frosting was applied haphazardly. What is more, the white chocolate raspberry bundtini I chose was not fully cooked through; the bottom appeared uncooked. I can only imagine what the other guests were thinking. We recently learned that this location was bought out and is under new management, which completely explains the nose-dive in customer service and diminished quality of the cakes. I hope the owner and corporate take immediate steps to improve customer satisfaction and engagement, training of its store employees, product and system process knowledge, efficiency and overall communication so others do not feel ripped off or experience the similar deceptive trade practice. An online order was placed for delivery between 5-5:30 p.m. What was ordered was not delivered, not even close to the product ordered. Their operating hours recorded states 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., but the store closed early. It is extremely frustrating to know that when a business is open, no one answers the phone. After making multiple attempts to call back the next morning, I was told that there was nothing that could be done because I didn't call on the same day (as delivery) to report the discrepancy. Nor could they find the credit card number in the system to verify my order even though I told them 1) the order was placed online, and 2) I had an order number confirming what was ordered and delivery time expectations. Frustrated and not letting the issue go, I was offered "store credit". I don't live in Reno; hence the online delivery order! Escalated this experience to all of social media and corporate. The day of delivery, I called the store to confirm it will be delivered. It took 11 calls for someone to answer the phone. We have supported this business for years. It has always been our go-to dessert for parties until this week. We called two days ahead to order for a holiday party and were required to pre-pay over the phone which we had no problem with. We arrived exactly at our pickup time yesterday and were told our order was not available and they were sold out. We were headed directly from the store to the party where we now had to show up without the dessert we had promised to bring. We asked to speak with a manager on the spot and were told no one was available so we called again today and were once again told a manager was not available to speak with us.
