For a soda shop that has cookies, I love everything about this place. You have so many drink options from here and since we do not have a Swig here in Northern NV , this is pretty dang close for your soda needs with all the different flavorings. Plus it is open I believe till a little later at night , so if you have your night cravings for cookies or a good soda, this place is it and they are on DoorDash too if you want to get it delivered. I was surprised by their different energy drink options too, if you want to add more to your energy drink , they had different flavoring options as well to amp up your drink more. When I ordered the Dr. pepper madster , I loved everything about it and got my soda fix very fulfilled with it. The cookies were pretty good too, I would say the crinkle cookie and the Nutella topped cookie were my favorites. The only thing I will say though , is the chocolate chip one was not that good too me, and I usually love any chocolate chip cookies. But I just was not a fan of the chocolate chip cookies here. I do my best to try places I've never been to. I've had crumbl and crave cookies before so figured I'd try this place. I got a Pina Colada RedBull and it was a solid 7/10. If you want a nice sugary drink this place is for you. As for the cookies, they were mid they all tasted the same with a slightly different flavor based on what they were. To be honest my favorite cookie place is still crumbl I'm basic but I enjoy delicious flavor when it comes to sweet things. This is the perfect place if you just want something sweet. I recently found twisted sugar while looking for a gluten free dessert. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and had any questions we had answered. It is such a cute little shop and I loved the cleanliness and the display case that shoes all the coolI was amazed at how many of their cookies were gluten free. Their service was quick because there was no one in line and they were very patient as I was browsing the large variety of drink options that they offered. I did get the chocolate chip oatmeal cookie butter cookie and it was so good! Did you give it to you cold so if you like it warm maybe just let it sit out, but it was very fresh and delicious. I was expecting warm cookies because i was craving Insomnia cookies i just didnt wanna go to college area at that time of night but when i was handed the cookies im like damn. They felt thick. Hard & cold. Got in the car and i got the crinkle cookie and the plain frosted and it was actually pretty good. Had some time to kill, so I stopped by Twisted Sugar for an afternoon snack. It's a small place with a few seats and samples of their cookies in a display case. They offer a variety of sodas and cookies to choose from, and I decided on a lemon tarte cookie. The cookie was smaller than those from other places, with pretty yellow frosting, sugar sprinkles, and a slice of lime on top. Unfortunately, despite its attractive appearance, it didn't meet my expectations. It was a basic sugar cookie with yellow frosting. There was a hint of lemon, but it wasn't particularly tart. Well, I'm in big Miss Piggy Trouble. I wrote a review one year ago for a brand new Twisted Sugar in Texas advising I'm lucky there's not a franchise store where I live.... Now here we are... A girlfriend gave me the update that they were finally open as I had told them to keep their eyes open as they live in Sparks. My husband and I had to come immediately even if it meant battling some adverse weather, but that turned out to be in our favor cause this upcoming storm hasn't quite hit us yet. Great location for those doing some shopping or eating. I wanted to do a 12 pack but that would be a little overboard for just the two of us. We settled on peanut butter, salted caramel, lemon sugar, caramel sugar, crinkle, and oatmeal cookie butter. I didn't go wrong with any of them. They all seemed to be "chilled" at the time I know that the competition specifically serves certain types chilled and I don't think these were necessarily supposed to be chilled and most likely will warm up at room temp but we didn't wait to bite into them. Still all very yummy. Salted caramel SO GOOD - and I loved the lemon sugar but it is a very tangy lemony frosting. Oatmeal's cookie butter I want to warm up cause it's one of my faves from the Texas store (which I've been to multiple times). The prices are super cheap from what I expected. 6 cookies for a little over 16$ before tip... people are saying they are smaller cookies but they are still BIG!!! Handy little to go box. They also have drinks so I'll have to try one come summer time. I have a soft spot for this chain. The girls working were so sweet too. Friendly and fast. I ALMOSt got the chance to be alone in the store to get some epic photos and videos cause you know how us yelpstars are... but alas, no dice. There's one small seating area up against the side wall with about 6chairs, so this is more of a take out place except for the couple that happened to be in front of us lol. 100 percent recommended to check out. It's becoming a bakery heaven in Sparks! It was a snowy night and staying close to home sounded ideal. I remember driving by the other night and seeing the "open" sign lit I made a mental note to come in soon. Everyone was very friendly, and the cookies looked very inviting. We went with a three pack of two Banana cream and a Nutella flavored cookie. When asked if we wanted drinks, I realized the menu of endless options. We ended up with a Nerd Alert (Dr Pepper, Coconut, and Pineapple) and The Bop (Diet Pepsi, Cherry and Coconut). Drinking this reminded me of a place in town that I loved in which there were similar soda pairings. It's awesome that there is something so close to home. In town and wanted to check-out this place. It's similar to Crumbl if you're familiar with it! A difference is that they have cookies of the month instead of cookies being rotated every week. For July, they had S'mores and Watermelon Patch. Out of the cookies I tried Watermelon Patch, Oreo, and Coconut Lime. I liked them and will definitely be coming back the next time I visit! Fun place to get some yummy drinks. We have not tried the cookies, so I cannot speak on those. The soda selection is great and the different types of flavors and toppings you can add are fun! They have sugar free options too! The inside is cute and has some seating, if you want to stay and enjoy your drink. During the colder months, their hot chocolates are great! Their banana foster hot chocolate is my favorite drink of all time, definitely give it a try!! The service has always been incredible. I was gifted a dozen cookies from Twisted Sugar for Christmas. Most of the cookies I received were sugar cookies with different types of frosting. My fave of this type was Cookies n Cream! I also enjoyed the crinkle cookie- it was like a brownie!!! The peanut cookie with Nutella on top was good too. I recommend these! Twisted sugar loses a star for its chocolate chip cookie. I was not a fan, but I prefer chocolate chip cookies to be warm and gooey. While I may not like the chocolate chip cookie, I would definitely purchase cookies (and sodas) in the future. read more
