Of course it was the most unpleasant day of the year, maybe ever, with a heat index of 117 (no hyperbole). I changed shirts before I came in and then sweated through that shirt as well. One of the ladies I was with left a gross pool of sweat in her chair after she left. It didn't occur to me to pull a Charlamagne tha God until hours later. I'm growing as a human being. Part of that growth is gradually coming to realize that seasonal lattes, unless they have sort of especially distinct flavor, like banana, aren't going to taste like anything other generic artificial sweetener, let alone what they purport to be. I considered ordering an iced caramel latte, but I figured what the heck. I went with something called a Miso Brown Sugar Latte. It was good for what it was, but I don't know that anyone, if you gave it to them to try, could identify it as that. I liked the fact that it had a somewhat more pronounced coffee flavor, compared to some places where it mostly just tastes like a glass of milk. I wasn't as crazy about the fact that it took a while for the ice cubes to cool it down, probably longer than it would have taken if it were served in a glass cup. I went with something called the Annex Burrito, which I didn't realize until after I ordered it is not the only burrito they carry. I guess you can also get a bog-standard breakfast burrito with bacon, eggs and cheese. This one comes with corn, beans and some sort of unidentified crema for the same amount. Maybe they give you less bacon. Mine didn't have a lot of bacon, but the bacon it did have was not crisp and had a precooked vibe. The latter was more of an issue for me than the former. I'm a savage in that way. I did appreciate the fact that it was griddled, possibly using a panini press. The exterior was ever so slightly crisp, while the interior was pizza roll-level molten. The overall vibe was similar to those microwave burritos they used to carry at 7-11, but in a good way. All I needed was a mini truck enthusiast magazine filled with photos of bikini-clad Latinas and a Windex-blue Slurpee, but I was able to make do with a lukewarm mystery latte and the old ladies I run with. I'm resourceful.

Literally the worst place to ever work at, do not work here! They only pay you cash and they expect you to get here 10 minutes before your shift but will not let you clock in until your scheduled time( you will get yelled at if you arrive any later than 10 minutes). They will harass you and yell at you in front of customers if you do make a mistake. The reason it is so expensive is because they expect us to charge you extra for whip cream, nuts, sprinkles, empty cups, every single topping, etc., and they do this all at an unreasonable price to the point not even the employees will pay for their products. They will not let you call off or let you have any days off, even if you request in advance; they will still try to guilt trip you and harass you into coming in. They will only hire teenage females and have turned many poc and males. The time at which i worked here they did not call people by their actual names and would only use the first initial of their name to address them. They do discriminate and play favoritism towards employees, my time here showed me that these people do not deserve to have the help they need because I have witnessed many many people who have work here quit because of the unreasonable behavior of both the owners! My family and I used to be regulars but we will never come back here again after witnessing how the employees are being treated. read more

do not support this business! i worked there for 3 years, this is my first year away- they do not pay their employees the correct minimum wage amount! they are screwing employees out of their money! they treat their employees like shit, take advantage of them, and guilt trip them! please stop supporting this business! i've been telling people in person, but since i no longer am employed there i feel safe to post and let the rest of you know. my friend just got fired for questioning the pay. also they're over priced as fuck. not worth it. read more

A neighborhood favorite, so it can take awhile to receive your order especially on weekends. But the custard product is always consistent with very good quality & flavor. The staff is always friendly & respectful. The year-round schedule (Thursdays through Sundays) is appreciated by those of us who have cravings in the "off season" for frozen desserts. Skeeters has become the go-to frozen custard stand for my wife & me. read more
