My friend and I had been sending watches here for years. The service and quality of work had always…read morebeen very good. Recently, the number of watches that had to be returned for what appeared to be quality control issues had gone up. Frustrating to say the least. Most recently, I had a vintage Heuer chronograph serviced by Adam. After the several month turn around time, I wore the watch for several weeks with no issues observed (besides lume that was damaged during the service which I was notified about). I put the Heuer back in my watch box where it sat for months. When I took it out to use is again, the watch would run for a while and stop. Also, the chronograph hands weren't resetting correctly. I sent it back in (under the one year warranty) and Adam indicated he made some adjustments. I got it back after several weeks and it was doing the exact same thing. As I was trying to decide whether to send it back again (as we had already had numerous watches returned and were frustrated with the quality of work) the service warranty lapsed. With the watch a month out of warranty, Kokomo refused to look at watch again. Let's not forget it was having the same issue (and obviously was not fixed) as the last time it was sent in. Needless to say, I would not recommend them. If the watch means anything to you, I recommend finding another watchmaker.

Of all the times I have gone to this store both times during the original owners and the gentleman who acquired it, I have gotten nothing but great service, courteous to a fault, and the merch is priced really well for the high-quality items that are sold. I not only have been able to clothe my daughter when she was a teenager but my son and even my grandchild. Some of the best pairs of pants my son had come from Boutique 125. There are lots of great deals to be had at Boutique 125 and it is a shame that Dusten B. and Michal O. had such bad experiences. I have never had a bad issue. Once a pair of jeans that didn't fit right on my daughter, and I took them back and the man allowed us to exchange them for something that fit better. He even gave us a small discount on a shirt she wanted. This is definitely a local business that deserves patronage.

He did greet me, but pretty much did his own thing back there while I browsed. The records were generally alphabetical, but grouped in genres. I figured it out since the genre type was not prominent unless you looked at titles. I saw they also carried some movies and cd's, but those seemed to be completely random without any sorting. Although they have a lot of vinyl here, I will say that I've found more organized and helpful places in the Indy metro area than here. Crap, it goes from a solenoid to an ignition switch, then the owner tells me it could be the coil? I didn't have the time to wait for them to pick up my tractor, so I trailered it myself. Trailering it myself was never the issue. Yeah, I was a bit steamed when it didn't shut off when I got it home the last time from having them work on it. I never took it back for good reason. They don't know what they are doing! I ran the wires down from the ignition switch, and they didn't tighten the ground wire nut coming down from the ignition switch to the engine block. And the wire for the kill switch was disconnected from the ignition coil. It's connected by way of a spade connector. They failed to tighten the ground wire and to replace the spade connector. I REPLACED THE SPADE CONNECTOR MYSELF, it's not that hard to see that after years, a spade connector will loosen and easily slide off the connection. 1990 GTH. Why did I wait to put in a review some might ask me? I gave it a lot of thought and decided that these people need to be aware of what they are doing. In the future, I will be going to McGavic Outdoor in Kokomo, Indiana if it's something that I can't figure out myself. By the way, I purchased that 1990 GTH brand new from McGavic back in 1990 and it's served me well to this day.

I appreciate their honesty and quick service and highly recommend them for anyone needing lawn tractor service. The only thing they didn't do was tell me what the amount of the bill was before asking for my payment information. Felt a little awkward interrupting the lady asking me for my payment information without anyone telling me how much the bill was. Extremely minor issue and would use them for all my lawn care needs.
