Love BASS PRO.. Ignored it for decades. Nice CARHARTT and UNDER ARMOUR selection. Vaughan Mills is PURE evil/trash on weekends; go mid week, let's say Monday around 11 am.... Like I did today, nice and quiet!!!

This particular Bass Pro Isn't that special by any means. If You've been to one, you been to them all. Canadians are a little gung ho for the Duck Dynasty and Roberson Family. The life size stand up never got so many selfies. Hilarious for someone coming from Louisiana. Other than the gigantic bear at the entrance there isn't much else to talk about.

It's something you just cant see on the online store! Walking in you're treated to a life size aquarium with overfed fish. Its definitely a fun place to bring kids because you can ditch them at the aquarium. The store is full of fishing everything, some boats, some recreations and even an archery shooting range -this I gotta return for. I didn't know that bass pro carried bows, now I know where to get my stabilizer and a new sight!

A bit pricy but I don't usually shop here unless it's for someone's birthday who enjoys outdoor activities. Plenty of supplies for camping, fishing, hunting, boating and other outdoor sports. There is usually a stand outside during the summer months allowing people to register for their boating licence. This is pretty convenient as online registration can sometimes be a pain. Parking is great at this end of the mall and there is direct access to outside. Usually this is my preferred parking area when I go to Vaughan Mills as it's lower traffic and easy access to Hwy 400. Nice fireplace when entering and greeters are always there to answer questions and check for firearms (as many hunters come here). The fish tank full of bass is a nice touch and looks sparking clean whenever I pass through on my way to the mall.

The people who work there are nice (which is surprisingly unusual for a baitshop in Ontario), the prices are good (ditto; its a great spot to stockup on extra tackle and such en-route to your fishing spot), and the minnows are quite vigorous. In our experience driving across Ontario, you usually get to pick one of those things. No other shop we've seen has managed to hit all three. We've gotten fairly resigned to a sizable percentage (sometimes half) of the minnows dying before we get a chance to use them, but that just isn't the problem here. Every single unused minnow we bought is still alive and well in my cooler over a day later, and aside from a few that seem to have died from oxygen deprivation while we were changing fishing spots, we didn't lose any en-route. The only cons are: the place is a little bit hard to find (it's behind the Husky, and in a little corner unit that's a bit hard to spot), and occasionally their hours change a bit. So you may want to call in to be sure they're open at times. Still, the location is handy if you're going up North from the GTA to fish, and they're near Bass Pro (their reputation is good enough that the fellows at Bass Pro were the ones that originally directed us here), so its a great one-stop spot to replenish equipment as well as bait and tackle.

This outlet usually has 30% off the regular price, which makes a huge difference for my skinny wallet! One of my favourite fall jackets had a large rip in the lining. I brought it in for repair and they didn't even ask for the receipt. I was given a repair ticket and informed it would take 6-8 weeks. It was a bit confusing though, with several calls for a return authorization number, in order to follow up. When I went to pick up the jacket, it took the staff a very long time to find it. Thankfully, my wife wrote my name, address, and telephone number on a luggage tag, and looped it around the inside hook. The staff said my name wasn't anywhere on the jacket, but they noticed the tag while searching. I was also looking for the McMurdo winter coat for many years, a very popular jacket, and finally gave up. I found a similar one, and it is very warm, especially for our recent -28 C weather! The rain jacket that I bought a few months ago also came in handy during a massive downpour. I noticed the rain repelled off nicely. The service is friendly, but I suggest coming on weekdays if possible.

We came at the end of the day on the New Year's eve and I forgot my purse when I was leaving. I only realized when I was on my way home when they called my husband's cell from my cell phone. So the Big K headed in first while I went to Dollarama nearby to waste some time. How long could buying a hockey stick take? I finally had to enter National Sports to investigate the Big K's disappearance and within record time I was greeted by a very friendly salesperson who not only found The Big K for me, but three perfectly wonderful, very expensive hockey sticks that could significantly improve The Big K's game (and in sum total cost more than my dishwasher.) After much careful consideration, The Big K finally settled on "just one" (thank goodness) from this neatly organized and well-stocked store. I rushed the Big K with stick in hand to the check-out (in an effort to prevent him from buying anything else.) Even the cashier was super-charming and personable and made paying the large bill less painful. Final words: bring lots of cash. This store is conducive to shopping.

Don't buy Arc'teryx!…read more I own several Arc'teryx jackets, and almost all of them have shown the same failure: the waterproof zippers delaminated and the seam tapes started peeling off, despite extremely light use. These jackets were stored clean in a closet for most of their life, with no visible wear or damage anywhere else. The only failures were in the zippers and seam tapes, which clearly points to structural integrity issues and premature material breakdown, not misuse. When I contacted Arc'teryx Warranty, the response was extremely disappointing. They suggested the jackets needed washing every 5-20 days of use -- which makes no sense given how little they were worn -- and then offered only 20% of the original MSRP if I returned the jackets. I asked for proper repairs (even at a reasonable cost), but they refused. For a brand that markets itself as "premium" and charges premium prices, the durability is shockingly poor, and the warranty support does not match the reputation. I own Gore‑Tex jackets and non Gore-Tex jackets from The North Face, Patagonia, Marmot, and MEC that are older and still look new. None have seam tape or zipper failures. I'll be sharing this experience on consumer platforms to help others make informed decisions. At this price point, customers deserve better materials, better construction, and far better warranty support.
