Very snobby and just not the most polite individual. I would rather have Tob or the other lady assist me but today was the last time I'll go in there from here on after she acted like I was bothering her by asking her about a duty belt. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on since we all seem to be bothering them by asking about their merchandise.

I just completed a multi-part order with Kempf Gun Shop that began with the disappointment of "out…read moreof stock," but soon - through very knowledgeable and personalized help from Sue via email and phone - resulted in a much better purchase than I would have known enough to select on my own. The really surprising thing about this great service is that it began online with a purchase via their website, but since Kempf is a real store with real people who care about their customers - even first time customers from out-of-state like me, my experience was far better than I've ever had with bigger online "virtual" merchants. In addition to great help in selecting the items I needed, I was impressed with the packing, shipping, delivery time half-way across the country, and price. I'd drop by the store to say thanks, but that would take at least two long days of driving! However, I do expect to be a return customer even if I don't have the opportunity to meet the great folks at Kempf Gun Shop in person.

There was a fair selection of rods for purchase too, but buying just wasn't worth our one day stay. Cap'n Cook's is connected to the video store next door, which is home to a few cute lovebirds that squawk and talk. I'd stop by Cap'n Cook's for live bait or lures if in the area in a heartbeat, sure. Their sign is small so just look for the video store and you're in like Flynn.

Been going here here for a few years now it stays open later than most bait shops and they have…read moreminnows until fall as they store them outside and they will freeze . Never had a problem here until last Thursday evening stopped in there was a heavy set lady with glasses on dispensing minnows I asked for three dozen she counted out one by one 36 minnows . Never in my entire life of fishing have I ever seen this . Usually they give you a scoop close to what you order but take in consideration dying minnows ect . 8 minnows died on the way to the spot down the block 5 min away . So that left me 28 minnows well wouldn't you know it the fish were snapping on the minnows I ran out with about 40 minutes of prime time left and the place was closed . Shame on her and the owners for letting her anywhere near the minnows . She is an imbecile and if management lets her do this then shame on them as well . I went to the rusty hooks bait shop in niles Michigan the next day ordered three dozen got a ton of minnows in the bucket . More than I could use . Shame on this place they know better do you think there minnow dealer counts minnows out I'm for sure they don't . Stay away from here and too bad because it was helpful with the extended hours .

Before shopping with them I would buy my suppressors at 219, they are very nice and helpful.. 219 would always give me a copy of my tax stamp before I left with my NFA items. I thought this was an industry standard. Anyway when I was picking up my suppressor I asked, "hey can I get a copy of the tax stamp?" The guy behind the counter says no, but if I call the ATF they can send one to me. He also told me I could print one out at home on my own printer... I asked again nicely and telling him I don't own a printer. Again, push back. No we don't do that here he says. Very nicely for the last time I ask and reminding him I don't own a printer. He takes one step over to his printer and makes me a copy that only took him 5 seconds to complete. I thanked him for his time and left with my item. Before leaving he told me I should stop at Walmart and pick up a printer so I don't "have this problem again"... since then I've been back once for warranty work, I asked them to send it out. I was charged a transfer fee. That seemed unnecessary because I wasn't transferring anything, it was an AR upper. Yes I understand I could have taken it to the post office instead but I wanted to give them another chance. This is the closest gun shop near my home and sadly I don't think I want to go back

Brandon set up the hitch on our SUV that day, everything is perfectly balanced, it uses newer bluetooth technology to connect the braking system, and he was also patient with my questions. Ray has great insights, is an honest businessperson, loves and has extensive knowledge about the RV industry, gets things done by the date we need (adding accessories like better entry steps, winterizing, de-winterizing, etc. -- it's a small family business so we try to give enough notice and keep our requests reasonable), and wants his customers to enjoy their leisure time with the RV (instead of just buying and having it sit). Ray, his son Brandon, and his wife are a joy to talk with and get ideas about RVing from.

My wife and I were shopping for a gift for an old neighbor and I saw an excellent deal on an automatic out the front pocket knife. We were met by Dean (owner) and his employee. This was the coolest gun store I've ever been to . The items for sale blends in with the military decor. Dean was very helpful and friendly we were so happy with the customer service and the shop that my wife who normally doesn't do gun stores wanted to buy a sweatshirt. Lots of older guns and newer guns as well as ammo and knives. Very good mix of gear. I recommend everyone come and see Dean and check this place out. Its so unique.

He made sure to point out that his business operates out of his home and gave a few other instructions about what to do after getting there. When I got there it was a nice house in a rural area. No big deal, I'm expecting a guy operating out of his garage. However, that isn't the case. He asked me to go down to his basement where his gun store is. So I walk through his living room, down a flight of stairs and then to my amazement there's an entire gun store in his basement. It's a sight to see. My wife and I test fired the gun we purchased right off his back porch which was cool, made the purchase and then we were off on our way. I'd certainly recommend this guy. He didn't make my wife feel dumb about guns and his attention to detail to ensure that his customer had everything needed to make the purchase as easy as possible was impressive. He's got a passion for it. I'll be making the trip to buy all my firearms from him.
