That sums up the firm's priorities -- personal time over client deadlines. Aggravation is a dominant attribute here. The firm is morally bankrupt and professionally incompetent. They had to reserve 3 days notice, failed to serve the UD complaint filed on 12/16/25 to the tenant as of today 1/2/26, misrepresented case status as to "the tenents have not filed thier responses, without telling you that they were not even served", threatened me with a restraining order, and conditioned a refund on surrendering client status. Communications are evasive, dismissive, and often insulting. Despite weeks passing since filing, no deadline was triggered because service was never completed. I retained this firm on 12/7/25 to prosecute a time-sensitive UD case. Instead, I received delay, deflection, and misconduct. It is January 2nd, 2026, the tenets are in second RENT FREE month, the attoerny on vacation and according to the office "everything is progressing well". I do not recommend this firm for any legal matter. Original My experience with this firm has been nothing short of alarming. What started as a simple unlawful detainer turned into a textbook example of how a law practice can harm its own client through delay, avoidance, and complete lack of accountability. The firm operates in a nebulous, spaced‑out, totally hands‑off manner. Communication is vague, timelines are ignored, and client needs are treated as optional. Every inquiry is met with the same canned lines: "We are on it," "It continues as planned," or "No update." Never once did I receive a clear, definitive status. The problems began immediately. Their process server put the wrong date on the 3‑Day Notice, forcing a complete re‑service -- an avoidable error that cost time and money. Then, after the complaint was filed on 12/16/25, the firm allowed 13 days to pass with no proof of service, no service attempts documented, and no timeline. During this period, the tenant continued living rent‑free, and the case remained frozen because the firm could not provide a single concrete update. I have not had this experience with all firms I have called before, so I thought it was worth leaving a nice review here. Based on my experience with Alejandra, I would be inclined to hire Eviction Group in the future should I have any issues that fall within their specializations.
