This is our third scheduled maintenance since we moved to Vero Beach…read more I highly recommend them. Their Service Technicians are always on time, professional and knowledgeable. Today's tech was Zachary. He was superb. It was a pleasure having him in our home doing work. Again I recommend this company for many reasons- another being one of our neighbors had an A/C emergency. I called Air Docs late morning and they were able to get a technician out that day. WOW customer service is their name.

I forgot an old lesson: when something look too good to be true it probably is. They offered me a…read more$29 A/C service maintenance call . I have 2 unites so $58 for both unites. We set a date I took off that day and in the morning they call to postpone it, saying they have some more urgent call, no respect for my time. I asked them what if I have an emergency on my A/C they said they will be able to come that day but they will charge $89 for diagnostic. We set an appointment few days later. The technician came and told me that one of the unit need a new blow motor. I have a full labor and part warranty from the MFR. but they charge me diagnostic charge off $89 + $ 150 what they call "processing fee" which is a simple money grab. sound to me to me like a form of classic bait and switch technique.( they came the flowing week and change the motor it took the technician only 15 minutes sharp to replace the motor, they got $150 from the MFG as Josh told me + 150 +89 =$389.) As far as the 2nd unit it was working perfectly well before they "serviced it" 2 hours after the technician left the system shut down and I noticed that the pan below the system which was bone dry was full of water water the technician said that I need a new drain line which they will charge $1000, Called other companies and replacing a drain line run $500-$800. Turned out that the drain line didn't needed a replacement but just a correct opening the clog. I did pay them the $ 150 "grab money" but they called me already twice to pay it. Just remember when something look too good to be true it probably is. Don't fall for their $29/$39 bait.

I heard a lot of good things about Jim Rott HVAC but have not personally used them. This review is…read morein reference to a quote that I received from them. I requested a quote for a mini split for our master bedroom to save money at night. Our home is two-story and the master bedroom is the only occupied room downstairs at night, so a mini split makes perfect sense. I received three quotes, all varying about $500, for different quality units. One quote was the cheapest, but I would not allow that particular unit to be installed due to the mediocre quality. Among top tier units, (Gree & Mitsubishi, 2 of the 3 quotes), there's only a $230 difference, but there is a big efficiency difference between them, so the price difference makes sense. I decided to contact Jim Rott because I did hear good things about this company. They also quoted for a Gree unit, however, they came in more than $1,600 more than the next highest bid ($4111 vs $2500), and the $2,500 unit was a 26.4 seer Mitsubishi. The Gree is a 19.5 seer. The quote for the other identical (same seer & size at least) Gree unit was $2100, so Rott was $2111 more than the same unit, installed, from another company. I looked up the price of that unit and several HVAC supply companies range from $1048 to $1400. IMO, $800 to $1,000 for about 2 hours work seems reasonable for a legitimate HVAC company, however, ~ $2111 is not in my opinion. I already had a dedicated electrical box installed, with disconnect, so everything is ready to go. The istall should not have taken more than 2 hours since the area has very easy access. I'm confident that this company does good work, however in my opinion, this quote is obscene. $1,600 more for a significantly less efficient unit is beyond unacceptable. After explaining all of this, they stated that if I received a cheaper quote, go that route. No problem! I certainly don't need their permission to get a better unit for less money. Good luck Jim Rott with that business model. The absolute lack of concern or care for the price discrepancy was the most disturbing part of this process.

I am writing to formally address a dispute regarding the water heater installation services…read moreprovided by Climate Experts. Below is a detailed account of the situation, including the timeline, agreements, and subsequent issues: Timeline and Agreements Initial Quote and Agreement: On 5 February 2025, Climate Experts provided a quote for installing a customer-supplied water heater. The quote explicitly stated: "The replacement water heater can be installed either in the attic space where the existing one currently is (provided it fits in the attic access), or it can be installed in the garage. Either location, pricing valid for either.", "*Installation includes all required wiring & water lines." Pictures and requested information were provided by my realtor to assist in preparing the quote. Additional detailed pictures of the house layout were available online via the property listing. I signed the quote on 7 February 2025 and paid $2,150 on 9 February 2025. Tech Visit and Refusal to Install: The technician arrived at the property and stated that the supplied water heater could not be installed in the attic due to its hybrid nature, weight concerns, and potential condensation issues. I requested that the water heater be installed in the garage, as explicitly stated in the signed quote. Climate Experts refused, claiming the situation was not as expected and that installation in the garage would cost more than the quoted and paid amount. Forced Purchase of Additional Water Heater: Due to time constraints related to the sale of the house, Climate Experts leveraged the urgency of the situation, leaving me with no choice but to purchase the recommended water heater for installation in the attic. The new water heater was installed with an invoice dated 17 February 2025 and signed 13 February 2025. Issues and Concerns Failure to Honor Signed Quote: The signed quote explicitly stated that the water heater could be installed in the garage. Climate Experts refused to honor this agreement, citing additional costs and unforeseen circumstances despite having sufficient information (pictures, listing details, etc.) to prepare the quote. Lack of Due Diligence: Climate Experts did not send a technician to inspect the property prior to providing the quote, despite my realtor offering flexibility to accommodate a visit. This oversight led to inaccurate assumptions and subsequent issues. Leverage of Time Constraints: Climate Experts leveraged the urgency of the situation, forcing me to purchase an additional water heater to meet the inspection requirements for selling the house. Financial Impact: I incurred additional costs due to Climate Experts' refusal to honor the original agreement and their lack of due diligence.
